The closest airport to Feodosia is the city airport, located 120 kilometers from Feodosia. First we fly to it, and from there we get to Feodosia as you please: by taxi or by public transport. You can get to Feodosia by bus from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik and other cities. To get to Feodosia by bus from Moscow or St. Petersburg, you will need to make a transfer in one of these cities, preferably in Krasnodar, Anapa or Novorossiysk.

By car

To get to Feodosia by car, you must first get to the port of Kavkaz, then take a ferry with the car to the port of Crimea, and then take the E97 highway directly to Feodosia. Quite simple. Ferry tickets for motorists, by the way, will cost from 1,200 rubles (depending on the size of the car) plus 162 rubles for each passenger.

Now a little about how to get to the port of Caucasus by the shortest route. No matter where you are coming from, you will need to travel south along the M4 highway. Here two ways appear: the first and traditional one is to continue driving along the M4 towards Krasnodar, and from there turn towards the city of Temryuk onto the P251 highway, and from Temryuk continue along the same road towards the port of Kavkaz. The second method is not so popular, but with it you can save about 120 kilometers, 10 liters of gasoline and an hour and a half of time. To do this, in the area of Kushchevskaya village, turn towards the village of Kanevskaya, from which take the P268 highway to Timashevsk. From Timashevsk we turn towards Slavyansk-on-Kuban, from Slavyansk-on-Kuban we go to Temryuk and then along the same road to the port.

By ferry

The ferry is today, one way or another, the most popular way to get to Crimea, since almost all tourists use it, with the exception of those who decide to fly by plane. Central beach "Kameshki"

And this beach is more for lovers of the noisy resort atmosphere of the South of Russia. The central beach, or “Pebbles,” is considered the most popular among both Feodosians themselves and tourists, since it is located in the very center of the city, next to the Feodosiyskaya embankment, so you can hardly pass by it while walking around the city. Next to the First City Beach there is a beach of the sanatorium of the Ministry of Defense, which is free only for guests of the sanatorium. Entrance will cost about 200 rubles. 08:00 – let’s imagine that we stopped at the intersection of Ukrainian and Galereynaya streets. Thus, we start the morning with a walk along Galereinnaya Street and breakfast at one wonderful bistro located on it, which we will talk about later.

09:00 – along Galereina Street we go to the Alexander Green Literary and Local History Museum and visit it.

12:00 – from the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities we head to the art gallery of I.K. Aivazovsky.

15:00 – now, after visiting the museums indoors, we can visit the museum under open air- Genoese fortress. We head there through Jubilee Park.

17:30 – after the Genoese fortress we go to Gorky Street, take a minibus and go out of town to Golden Beach to devote the evening exclusively to physical relaxation.

19:30 – relax on the sand, swim in the warm sea and watch the sunset on the beach.

20:30 – and after sunset you can go for a walk. From the golden beach we go to the “Club 117” beach and spend the rest of the time having fun as best we can.

What to see in the area

Speaking about Crimea, and especially about its coast, it is impossible to single out one place and say that it is better than the rest: every city, town or place is beautiful in its own way. Therefore, if you ask us: “What to see in the vicinity of Feodosia?”, we will not hesitate to answer – the whole Crimea.

But if we talk about the Feodosia region of Crimea, then here you can go to the villages of Beregovoe and Primorsky with uncrowded and clean sandy beaches. We can also recommend the village in the west with its famous monastery of Surb Khach. Well, in the south there are the famous villages of Ordzhonikidze and, next to which, in turn, is the remarkable Karadag Nature Reserve. Not far from Ordzhonikidze, we recommend visiting another exceptional place – Fox Bay. Fox Bay is a kind of haven for all sorts of modern hippies, homeless people and other “Dharma vagabonds”. It is a large tent city in a secluded place between two capes, next to which there is a nudist beach. We recommend coming to Fox Bay overnight with a tent. And don’t forget to take as much firewood and water as possible on the road.

Food. What to try

The multinational Crimean peninsula has absorbed many culinary traditions from different peoples and ethnic groups. Separately, it is worth noting the traditional cuisine Crimean Tatars, which you can get acquainted with in the corresponding national cafes and restaurants, which also exist in Feodosia.
