Laziness does no good. New Orsha. New Life - Orsha train schedule (suburban trains) New Life Orsha

The stories of these settlements surprisingly similar.

Just like Vasilyevsky Mokh, Orsha is located not far from Tver. The number of residents is almost the same: more than two thousand people.

The village was formed in 1955 in connection with the start of peat mining. Near New Orsha - swamp massif "Orsha Mokh".

From 1955 to 1994, the city-forming enterprise “Orshinskoye-1” operated here. In 1994, the Orshinskoye-1 peat enterprise was recognized as a branch of Tvertorf OJSC; it has now ceased to exist.

Local residents call their village - New Orsha. Apparently, so that there is no confusion with the village of Orsha located in the Kablukovsky rural settlement of the Kalininsky district, the main attraction of which is the Ascension Orshin Convent.

By the way, the local administration has an official website. It appears that the administration is staffed entirely by women. Let's see how they cope with managing an urban settlement "Village Orsha".

The administration building is located next to the bus station and fire station. It turns out that this is the most spectacular place that can be judged about the entire urban settlement. These buildings are the first thing that guests of the village see.

So, this is the administration building:

This is a local guide who told Tver Province journalists about the unclean roads:

This road leads to the bus station: a mess of snow, under which hides incredibly slippery ice! Apparently, this is how tourists are lured to Orsha by journalists so that they cannot escape from here later.

And here is a local landmark - the bus station:

To complete the picture: the old poles are located next to the bus station.

We remind you once again that the local administration is located literally 25 meters from the bus station. Administration employees have an excellent opportunity to contemplate wall paintings and rickety pillars every day.

By the way, the only place cleared of snow is the sidewalk in front of the administration entrance.

The fire department somehow decorates this inhospitable place:

According to the already established tradition, we will take a walk around the administration building.

Main entrance:

Advertisements are glued directly to the glass:

What is this instead of an urn? Does anyone know what this container is called? By the way, remember what the lantern looks like, we won’t see any more lanterns like this.

For some reason the post office has 3 days off:

Rear facade of the administration building:

Broken glass...

The district police officer is not in demand, which, in principle, is good, it means everything is in order in the settlement.

Compare with photo with administration website:

The village is not very large - a great opportunity to get acquainted with the life of Orsha.

What kind of building do you think this is? At first our journalists drove past and thought it was an industrial zone with a warehouse.

This is a cultural and leisure center! AND from a distance it looks more like a hangar. Such a strange façade renovation, to put it mildly, has never been seen before.

It seemed like there were 2 days off, but the institution was still closed during business hours.

Such unusual lighting, or rather, what is left of it, will meet us more than once on our way.

It’s scary to walk around the building - you don’t know what you’ll see around the corner.

And this is just library:

Isn’t it scary to let your children go to the library?

In Orsha there is simply some kind of problem with lighting - broken lampshades and old rickety poles do not add to the attractiveness of the village.

Children are not afraid of anything, the main thing is that there is a slide!

New CCTV cameras. What if someone needs a profiled sheet for a fence?

In front of the Leisure Center there is a square that turns into the street. Oktyabrskaya and, theoretically, this territory could be landscaped and turned into a pedestrian zone, but now it looks like this:

Oktyabrskaya Street is located in the very center of the village, but it is so narrow that it is difficult for even two cars to pass each other (note that the guide follows journalists).

The most interesting thing is that the village already has a pedestrian street, but it doesn’t inspire any desire to take a walk:

This street just passes by the school. Let's see how things stand with education.

After school in Vasilyevsky Moss - this school is wonderful!

But even here there is a problem with street lighting:

New video surveillance system. Most likely, it hasn't been finished yet.

The school playground evokes nostalgia:

There is a hospital not far from the school. The condition of the building leaves much to be desired:

This is the former House of Public Services:

The building houses a branch of Sberbank. And again 3 days off. Strange mode of operation of institutions in Novaya Orsha.

Nearby is a new standard building where residents from emergency housing are being relocated.

The surrounding landscape...

Although there are some positive aspects:

The main differences between Orsha and Vasilyevsky Moss:

  • the most important thing is that the school is in good condition, the children are safe,
  • no mountains of garbage
  • Orsha is not “decorated” with pipelines without thermal insulation,
  • in Orsha, journalists were followed by feathered friends, not stray dogs

There are problems with street lighting in both villages. Many buildings require renovation, and some require demolition.

There are plenty of shortcomings, but, most importantly, there is no feeling of hopelessness and despair in the village.

Hope dies last. This also applies to Vasilyevsky Moss.

Everything will be fine! You just have to not sit idly by.

This is the beauty we encountered in Novaya Orsha:

Vladimir Putin signed a Decree on monthly payments for children aged three to seven years
