Rest in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Personal experience: economical family vacation in Arkhipo-Osipovka What’s new in Arkhipo-Osipovka

For those who are thinking about where to go on vacation by the sea: to Arkhipo-Osipovka, Gelendzhik or Kabardinka?
I’ll start from afar and with things that seem banal at first glance: 1) before the planned vacation period, be sure to check the weather at the place of your intended vacation with an emphasis on wind speed, it will be very disappointing to set aside 7 days from your vacation and not have the opportunity to plunge into the sea for 3 of them; 2) It is better to look for a place to stay locally, this is not a problem, in resort towns 80% of the population is ready to rent out housing to you. Don’t be scared and rush straight to the Internet to look for housing; online housing is much more expensive. Remember, a prerequisite is the presence of an air conditioner or, even better, a split system; you will overpay 200 rubles per day, but you will not have to languish in the heat and sweat like in a bathhouse, and it is hot during the season not only during the day, but all 24 hours a day. Do not disdain to go into the bathroom and make sure that the toilet and shower are in working order, look at how the toilet flushes and what condition it is in principle, also inspect the shower for hot and cold water, in every second apartment the air conditioner, shower or toilet does not work at the proper level, and if after a day you want to return the money for one reason or another, you will be accused of inattention and nonsense of character, the money may not be returned. All homeowners rent out premises on an advance payment basis; the longer the period of time you stay, the lower the price per night. Housing prices in Gelendzhik, Kabardinka and Arkhipo-Osipovka are the same. 3) You shouldn’t take a lot of things, but without fail these are 3 towels, a beach mat, one pair of pants, a sweatshirt, thermal underwear, sneakers, slippers that don’t rub because most often you have to walk a lot, a hat. 4) Don’t buy watermelons at all if you don’t want to spoil your vacation, they are all richly fed with saltpeter, which can lead to poisoning. 5) Be careful with your ears, especially if you like to swim longer and more often, frequent entry of liquid into the ear canal can cause congestion and inflammation, and this is terribly unpleasant; actively use a swimming cap, it will help avoid such problems.

KABARDINKA. Being there at the end of July, the population there is literally nowhere to fall. Basically, the entire contingent consists of elderly people and their young grandchildren. The coastline is short, which will require a lot of mental and physical strength from you to find shelter. The water is almost always calm, there is a pier from which you can jump and dive, an interesting activity, you will not find this either in Gelendzhik or in Arkhipo-osipovka. The beach is pebble, clean and equipped. The bottom in equipped swimming areas is 90% flat, without large pebbles or sharp drops in depth. In the evening you can also swim and besides, the attractions and scams start working. Briefly speaking about scams, they are most developed here and feel great, unlike the other two areas presented. I classified hanging on a rotating bar for 2 minutes, climbing a rotating ladder, lifting a bottle with a fishing rod, etc. as scams. But I liked the evening program here most of all, it’s really interesting here, it seemed to me that in Gelendzhik it would be even more interesting, but I was wrong, there are other advantages about them further.

Gelendzhik. I want to say right away that the local people there seemed to me somehow aggressive and sometimes inadequate, sometimes not even understanding, I apologize in advance, I’m not talking about everyone, perhaps I only came across such people. The city has a population of about 80 thousand, the beaches are much more spacious due to their greater length, but you often come across places with a “killed” bottom, potholes and stones with sharp edges, you need to be more careful. The shore is both sandy and pebbly, I generally respect pebbles more, but at this stage I chose sand, because the bottom is simply beautiful in such places, it is also worth considering that in Gelendzhik there is often an invasion of jellyfish, but they are not dangerous and some sticks and branches float , literally everywhere, but disappear after a couple of days. I stayed in each of the three areas given for three days, a sufficient period of time for a young man to live out these areas at the proper level. Here is the Golden Bay water park, it’s worth paying attention to, there are a lot of slides and for every taste, this is one of the largest water parks in Europe. I also advise you to climb cable car to the mountain on which there is also a Ferris wheel, if you are a contemplator. There are no scams at all; apparently, law enforcement agencies do not allow such activities in the city. Speaking of restaurants, cafes and nightclubs, the infrastructure is well developed in all areas, but you will have to spend quite a lot of money there. I do not recommend staying here if you want to fully enjoy the sea.

Arkhipo-Osipovka. On the very first day, it greeted us with cloudy weather and winds of up to 10 m/s, which provoked waves of impressive size; no one in charge was allowed into the water, but people, despite the prohibitions, still stood near the shore and enjoyed the fact that the waves were hitting their legs , here you can fully experience the ebb and flow of the tides. The next day the weather calmed down, the sun came out, the waves decreased but remained, swimming in them causes indescribable delight. I find it much more interesting to swim when there are waves than when there are no waves. Locals said that in "Arkhipka" the waves are much more frequent than in Gelendzhik or "Arkhipka", throughout the entire area geographical position favors.

If you try to sum it up, it’s like this: in principle, all 3 sections are similar, but they differ only in small details, but as you know, little things don’t solve anything, little things decide everything. I apologize for possible grammatical errors, I wrote quickly, I didn’t have time to double-check, but I wanted to present the material as fully and at the same time in a concise form as possible, which may be useful for many.

About the private sector

Private houses are the most common type of housing. The average cost in August is from 400 rubles/day to 800 rubles/day for one person. A nice bonus could be discount or free accommodation for children.

In the private sector, it is usually permissible to use everything that is on the household (shower, kitchen, gazebo, washing machine, etc.). Since there are no hotels similar to the Turkish and Egyptian ones in Arkhipo-Osipovka, it is more than difficult to find animators for children.

We did not reserve a place in advance, which we regretted, since it is very difficult to find a free place during the season. But the private sector in the village is large and 99% of houses are rented out to visitors during the summer season.

After an hour and a half of searching, we were left with three options - private cottage(for 3,000 rubles/day) and two houses - 400 and 500 rubles per person per day, respectively. In the end, we chose the latter option, since our five-year-old son was accommodated for free.

It turned out - 1000 rubles per day for a room with one double and one single bed. There were also bedside tables, a wardrobe and even a TV. On the site there were two showers, a summer gazebo, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Appliances include a hairdryer, washing machine, microwave, gas oven and much more.

We were pleased with our choice. We had to walk about 10 minutes to the sea. Besides us, there was another family and mistress living in the large three-room house, which did not interfere at all, since we only met in the morning and late evening.

Food: shops, cafes, street fast food

There is plenty of food for every taste and price. For those who like to cook on their own, there are shops and supermarkets (the most popular is Magnit). On the other hand, while on vacation, not everyone will like to cook three times a day on their own.

We cooked ourselves only once a day during breakfast, and we bought food in advance in the evening. Food prices in supermarkets are no higher than the national average. My son really liked it cherry plum berry, which we didn’t have to buy, because it grew right on the site.

It’s worth mentioning separately food "from hand". On any Black Sea resort full of grandmothers selling fruits and nuts, traders with pies, churchkhela, hot corn and everything else. They sell all this both in the city and on the beach.

We didn’t risk buying anything from such merchants, especially for our child, you never know. If you really want local exotics, you can buy churchkhela in a store further from the shore, and it’s one and a half times cheaper.

The majority of the diet consists of food bought in numerous cafes on the embankments, where you can have lunch, as in canteens, and dinner. When night comes, all the cafes turn into dance clubs.

Throughout coastline worth a lot hot dog stalls, pasties, shish kebab and other related products. The price of such a snack is from 50 rubles.

The best cafe-canteens, in our opinion, are “Albatross”, "Tornado" and "Horizon". The average check for three during a daytime lunch did not exceed 800-1000 rubles (sometimes first course, second course, juice/beer, salad). The whole family, including the son, became very addicted to French meat, which cost only 210 rubles at Tornado.

About the beaches

The best way to go to the beach is through the main street - there you can immerse yourself in the local flavor, because it is along this street that sellers of T-shirts, food, souvenirs and everything else are concentrated.

The beach itself is very long, but not wide, and is framed by two small rivers. You can stay on the beach for free, but it is always under the sun and there is a very high density of people on it. For 150 rubles you can rent a covered sun lounger for the whole day.

Beach cover– mixed stone, the closer to the shore, the finer it is.

We had a child, so we rented a sunbed every day. As it turned out, this was the right decision, because our housemates' ten-year-old daughter was very badly burned on the second day.

The beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka is dirty due to large quantity people, and the sea cannot be called the cleanest, but we bought an inflatable mattress in a store for 300 rubles and calmly sailed a little further from the shore, where it was much cleaner.

There are also wild beaches, for example, behind one of the rivers, where you can get there by ford or by boat for 30 rubles.

Things to do with children

All entertainment in Arkhipo-Osipovka can be divided into water and all others. On the coast you can have fun in the following ways.

Name What does it include approximate price
Banana Ride for 5-10 people on a rubber tube, with access to the sea and a short swim. Duration about 15 minutes. I recommend it for children if they are not afraid of water. 300-350 rubles.
Tablet Ride 2-3 people on a rubber flat tablet at very high speed. Duration – 7-10 minutes. I recommend it for children over 10 years old, as it is quite extreme. 350-400 rubles.
Catamarans Standard holiday on a catamaran. Accommodates up to 5 people. Hourly pricing.

I recommend it for children of any age, we took the whole family and were satisfied.

800 rubles per hour.
Pleasure boat A trip on a small boat, fishing, feeding seagulls, hydromassage. Duration up to 1 hour.

I recommend it for children of any age. Attention! May cause motion sickness.

1200 rubles for adults, 700 rubles for children.
Cruise A long trip on a large double-decker boat (small ship). There are excursions for an hour, two, three and the whole day. Unknown.

On and near the coast there are many interesting entertainment suitable for children:

  1. Shooting gallery, air hockey, ball throwing And so on. We spent more than one evening kicking balls and shooting at targets. Price 50-100 rubles.
  2. Attractions. A large selection of attractions is a definite plus, but you need to keep in mind that not all of them are suitable for children. average price for attractions - 250-500 rubles.
  3. Dolphinarium, crocodile farm, mill, water park. We highly recommend visiting all these places if finances allow. In neighboring cities, such as, and, all these attractions look better, but the price is much higher. Example: a water park in Arkhipo-Osipovka cost 1000 rubles, in neighboring Gelendzhik - from 2500 rubles (but the difference in level is colossal). Nevertheless, our child was incredibly happy about all this, although he was scared of the most high slides In aquapark.

From the excursions I would like to note waterfalls and grottoes- an incredible sight, although in August the water flow is much worse than in June. And here The dolmens were not at all impressive, the child was already frankly bored, wandering among the stones.

It is very difficult to save money on the Black Sea coast. But we found the best, in our opinion, way.

It is best to stay in private houses. You can learn a lot from the owners interesting places, saving secrets and much more. For example, they gave us a discount on excursions to waterfalls, took us for free to wine Vault, showed us the place where they catch crabs at night and treated our son to berries and nuts.

Negative review: cons of Arkhipo-Osipovka

Not everyone is delighted with their holiday in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Alisa, who vacationed here last year with her child, wrote to us. Below are her not so pleasant impressions:

In the summer of 2016, our choice fell on Arkhipo-Osipovka, which friends praised as a quiet quiet place, which is perfect for both adults and children. We will not go there again, as there were more negative points than positive ones.

The worst thing we've encountered is attempted child abduction(fortunately, not ours). While the parents at 11 o'clock in the morning were engaged in the destruction of alcohol on an industrial scale (in Arkhipka there are all the conditions for this), some woman who looked like a gypsy approached a girl of about six playing nearby, talked to her for a couple of minutes, took her hand and tried to lead her away. .

Seeing this picture, the drunken mother forced the father to take the child, and he tried to catch up with the gypsy on staggering legs. In this situation, I was pleased with the reaction of the police who patrolled the embankment and the beach - they responded instantly, returned the child to the parents and detained the strange woman.

The positive aspect is the work of rescuers, who notified particularly irresponsible parents about the prohibition of swimming in a storm, pulled children from the water who had turned over in their vests, etc.

The second significant disadvantage of Arkhipka is terrible unsanitary toilets, where it’s scary to go and pollution in general. Despite the fact that trash cans are located every five meters, our compatriots prefer to throw beer glasses, bottles and other garbage right on the beach; as a result, children run right over this garbage.

The water slide and catamarans are frankly dirty, and very dirty. Children from the slide are caught by the not very sober operation of the attraction, which does not inspire confidence.

The amusement park did not please me because there was a mini-zoo there are no sanitary documents for animals However, there are no veterinary documents for animals with which you can take pictures on the beach (several species of monkeys and birds).

Quiet family holiday in Arkhipo-Osipovka - this is a budget option. It is suitable for everyone who is looking for peace and quiet outside the big cities. Small resort town welcomes all guests with a warm climate and friendly sea. The village is surrounded on three sides by mountains covered with dense forests, which create an ecologically clean atmosphere. To avoid getting bored in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka, you need to plan a vacation with entertainment and leisure in accordance with your own preferences.

What to do in Arkhipo-Osipovka?

Despite the fact that the village is quite small, adults and children will find entertainment suitable for their age. Guests who come on holiday in Arkhipo-Osipovka (Gelendzhik) are invited to visit:

  • Amusement park
  • Waterpark "Coconut Paradise" and GoodZone
  • Dolphinarium
  • Theater of sea animals.

Local attractions are: ruins, remains of a fortress wall, a cannon from the Russian-Turkish War, dolmens, waterfalls of mountain rivers. When local entertainment won’t be enough, a trip to Gelendzhik will lift your spirits. Your vacation will become more interesting and filled with new impressions.

Beaches of the village

  • Norilsk Nickel
  • Central (embankment)
  • Behind the mountain river Teshebs.

All conditions are aimed at ensuring that guests feel comfortable in Arkhipo-Osipovka. On holiday in this area Krasnodar region They travel with families, groups and alone. Everyone who has visited these places at least once will definitely say: “Relax in Arkhipo-Osipovka and come here every year!”

Arkhipo-Osipovka - description

The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka is included in the municipal formation of Greater Gelendzhik and is the center of the rural district of the same name. The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka is 53 km away from the resort of Gelendzhik (along the highway).

Story

The territory of the modern village has always been densely populated. At first these were different tribes who waged wars among themselves, as a result of which there was a change of nations and peoples who inhabited Krasnodar region. Arkhipo-Osipovka also underwent historical changes. Many archaeological excavations remain in the surrounding area today, but the most mysterious and unsolved are the stone buildings - dolmens.

The last settlement on the territory modern resort was an Adyghe village. A new milestone in its history begins with the construction of the Mikhailovsky fortification (1837). On its territory in 1964, the village of Vulanskaya was formed, which in 1889, already a village, received a new name, which has survived to this day. The Arkhipo-Osipovka resort was named in honor of the valiant Russian army soldier Arkhip Osip, who died defending the fortification.

Geography

The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka is located on the very coast of the Black Sea. Two mountain rivers, Teshebs and Vulan, flow through its territory and flow into the sea. The neighboring villages are Dzhubga and Betta.

Population

Population in the village. Arkhipo-Osipovka has a population of 7,853 people (2010 census data).

The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka appeared on the site of an ancient Adyghe settlement - Adyghe, after the Russian-Turkish war. True, the inhabitants of the settlement changed, and its name changed, along with the historical situation. After the end of the Caucasian War, here, in 1864, a village appeared, with the name Vulanskaya, after the name of the river, but in 1889, with the royal permission, Vulanskaya was renamed Arkhipo-Osipovka.

The village is quite large compared to other similar ones, the population is about 10,000 people. It is located at the mouth of the Vulan River, on both sides towering above the village Mountain peaks, covered with deciduous forest, from which the bay, beach, village and surrounding area are perfectly visible Caucasus Mountains. The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka has, as they say now, its own special feature. If you look at the village from a bird's eye view, you can see that most of the roofs are painted blue. The combination of blue roofs against the green background of forests and the blue sea in the distance is a truly enchanting view.

The Mediterranean climate, clean healing air, surrounded by deciduous forests make Arkhipo-Osipovka ideal place for family holidays. Experts say that this place, in terms of its climatic data, is akin to the resorts of Nice. In addition, the village has a small market where local residents bring fresh organic fruits, vegetables, dairy and other products. And the kind of honey and green walnut jam they sell here, you won’t find this in Nice.

Over many centuries, the Vulan River has brought so much sand from the mountains that a gentle slope into the sea has formed in the bay. This perfect beach for bathing children. The length of the entire beach is about 1 km. There is an embankment built along almost the entire beach, quite long (several hundred meters) and wide. There are numerous cafes, restaurants, shops, rental shops, as well as a small dolphinarium and the Malibu amusement park. And just like on a real (steep) embankment, there is a fountain. You can make appointments at the fountain.

For accommodation, rooms are rented out in the private sector in the village, and there are also sanatoriums and holiday homes. To get to Arkhipo-Osipovka, you must first take a train to Tuapse, Novorossiysk or Krasnodar, and then take a bus. If you fly by plane, it’s better to go to Krasnodar, and then by bus. It’s possible to go as far as Adler, but that’s further. There are no problems with your car, the M4 (Don) highway passes through the village.

The village of Arkhipo-Osipovka has a good and beautiful beach, With developed infrastructure entertainment. Closed on both sides by capes, with a bottom gently sloping into the depths, and covered with small pebbles, it is ideal for families with small children. Since the coast is flat, the water in the sea warms up quickly. Stationary sun shelters are installed on part of the beach.

This is a real haven for children. You don't need to go anywhere, everything is right on the beach promenade. The Malibu amusement park can even compete with large parks entertainment located in the cities of the Black Sea region. There is water attractions, which include, waterslides and water wheels, various types carousels from children to adults. A large Ferris wheel is for those who do not want to climb mountains, but at the same time, want to see the surroundings of the village from above. There is a dolphinarium next to the park, the entrance is from the embankment. On the embankment, races on small cars are organized for kids, and for adults, races on “obstinate bicycles” are organized.

And how much laughter and squealing amusement such as “catapult” causes. Here adults frolic more than children. And when adults and children get tired of entertainment, you can board a real ship from the time of Columbus and sail across the sea. During this walk you will definitely meet dolphins; there are a lot of them here, which indicates the purity of the water in the bay. These animals are accompanied only by sailboats, but not by scooters.

On the beach there are several rental points for various beach equipment, as well as accessories for water activities. In addition, you may be offered to ride a scooter yourself, and if you are a little scared, then experienced instructors will ride you along the entire beach with the wind and splashes. Those who have sailing experience can rent windsurfing or scuba gear. The tip of the right side of the beach is suitable for scuba diving; in this area there are rocks that go sharply into the depths, and scuba divers will have amazing views of the kingdom of Neptune. And those who want to become a bird will be offered to fly on a parachute, even together.

And when night falls on the village, the beach and embankment are transformed into little Rio. Shimmering with different colors, sparkling neon signs of cafes and shops, palm trees along the shore, attractions in the park and yachts at sea, make the embankment a piece of the dream of the great schemer Ostap Bender.

On our website you will find decent guest houses, inns, hotels and the private sector, all holiday offers without intermediaries.

Sights of Arkhipo-Osipovka

The village is replete with attractions, one of which lies in its name. This is a cast-iron twisted cross erected in honor of the feat of Private

Geographical proximity to Gelendzhik and actual belonging to the legendary resort would seem to save Arkhipo-Osipovka from the notorious independence. Not all tourists perceive the village, 125 kilometers from Krasnodar, as an independent unit. However, this municipality does not suffer much from such a situation. Probably, it is the territorial aspect that is the necessary ace in the hole, allowing the “village” on the Black Sea coast to receive a constant flow of vacationers. A place with views of the Russian outback, but endowed with classical (albeit provincial) nobility, welcomes crowds of vacationers every summer, without thinking about legal subordination to a particular locality. Streets filled with pedestrians and beaches packed to capacity make one ignore not very significant episodes in the biography of the famous Arkhipka.

Let's go to Arkhipka!

Despite the name “village,” Arkhipo-Osipovka does not in any way synchronize with the concept of “the outskirts of civilization.” First of all, this concerns transport hubs, allowing tourists to reach their destination without much difficulty. In fact, the surroundings of Gelendzhik do not need additional improvement of road communication (using the capacity of its older brother). Nevertheless, the infrastructure looks quite good, without frightening vacationers with sad contrasts with its famous neighbor.

Airplane? Yes exactly!

The presence of an airport in Gelendzhik solves the problem of movement in the vicinity of the Kuban health resort. Not in terms of the fact that " Harbour Air"will take the passenger straight to a small village. However, its convenient location eliminates the difficulties of transfer to less large areas Krasnodar region.

Buses and taxis

Unlike many small villages located on the Black Sea coast, the path to Arkhipo-Osipovka does not look like an endless obstacle course. In principle, the famous village can be reached from any city in the Krasnodar Territory. The presence of a bus station on the territory of Arkhipka speaks for itself. Most visitors prefer to use Novorossiysk (a ticket costs around 200 rubles) and Krasnodar (the price of a trip is about 350 units in the same calculation) as a transit zone. Although, there are flights from, say, Armavir. You can get to Arkhipo-Osipovka the same way by taxi. We believe that for this method of travel it is better to choose urban areas that are not too distant from the village. For example, a road from Krasnodar will empty your wallet by about 2.5 thousand rubles, a voyage from Novorossiysk - by about a thousand in our national currency.

Hello, dear guests!

Compactness settlement does not prevent him from developing rapidly hotel industry. The number of offers of this kind here is comparable to the most popular resorts Russian Federation. The merging of the private sector and commercial developments creates the feeling of a global rental market. However, the price demands of elite rooms are within the reach of the average budget. Well, about the apartments from local residents, in this vein, there is no need to talk. Although hotel-type buildings do not strive for architectural standardization, they prefer not to be located at the highest altitudes. There are practically no multi-storey hotels here. However, most of these establishments try to accommodate all service sectors. Usually there is a cafe (located under the Hilton) and a swimming pool (diving into which is included in the price of your stay). The price depends on the class and capacity of the room, but usually it ranges from two thousand rubles to infinity for 24 hours.

Budget hotel vs private sector

There are also hotels of a lower class here. But the rooms themselves are not too different from more expensive options in neighboring complexes. The absence of food outlets and a personal reservoir on the territory of the building is usually compensated by the presence of inexpensive cafes nearby and proximity to Black Sea coast. Here you will be charged around 1,500 rubles for a daily stay. Private sector usually competes with the sanatorium capacities remaining in Arkhipo-Osipovka after the collapse of the USSR. The mentioned complexes most often look something similar to cottage village. True, the buildings give off a rustic flavor. In principle, dacha huts are in no way inferior to their competitors. In addition, the initial price from the latter is noticeably lower. 800 rubles versus one and a half thousand.

Heat of water and air

Gelendzhik region during the period holiday season rarely visited by weather disasters. Actually, the possessions of Arkhipo-Osipovka follow the same principles. The warm air moving along the coast keeps the temperature in the range of 25 to 35 degrees. Already in mid-May, the swimming season can be considered not only open, but also gaining momentum. Although, of course, the peak of tourist activity occurs in the first two summer months. On the other hand, August and the debut of September are very popular times among vacationers.

When does the season start?

May, of course, in itself is conducive to a visit to the resorts. Alas, the Black Sea, located in the patrimony of Arkhipo-Osipovka, sometimes fails to achieve stability in terms of water temperature by the beginning of the final month of spring. However, more often warm currents heat the reservoir, if not for Labor Day, then for the day of the great victory - for sure! June and July are traditionally the most popular months for holidays in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Of course, this part Gelendzhik region not at all original. The weather at the beginning of summer is close to ideal and does not lose its blissful stability. The water is heated to optimal temperatures and swimming is very close to the concept of “pleasure”. However, we should not forget that the flow of mountain rivers can make its own adjustments. 11 degrees at sea, at the moment of established heat - this happens, however, it does not last more than a day. August and September are an opportunity for late vacationers to make up for lost time. The air temperature is not too different from more early periods summer. The same applies to water. In short, it warmly welcomes guests to Arkhipo-Osipovka almost until the end of the first autumn month.

What to do at the resort?

Of course, the transport interchange of the region allows tourists to make daily migration from city to city. However, now we will touch specifically on the internal resources of little Arkhipka. The territories are not very impressive, however, they provide the guest with many options for spending time.

Entertainment in Arkhipo-Osipovka
