Cham Museum in Da Nang is located near the Dragon Bridge (at its tail). Among the museum's exhibits you can see altars, lingas, images of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu, carved from sandstone. It is in this museum that the largest collection of Cham culture is located. Most of exhibits from the capital of the Tjampov (Cham) empire - Michon and the Cham Buddhist center - Dong Duong, which is located 20 km south of Michon. Ticket price is 40,000 dong (just under 2 dollars).

Modern attractions include, of which there are nine in the city. Each bridge has its own uniqueness.
The most unusual of them
- Dragon Bridge, whose design is made in the form of a giant dragon entwining the bridge (see photo above);
- Chang Ti Li Bridge or Sail, whose height is over 700 meters, and its shape resembles a mountain or an isosceles triangle;
- Bridge over the Han River(We didn’t bother with the name). Every weekend at midnight the bridge is opened for ships and boats;
- Tuan Phuoc Bridge, reminiscent of the Golden Gate in San Francisco.
The city has a very beautiful embankment with a wide sidewalk (compared to Nha Trang and Mui Ne), which is a pleasure to walk along. For me, time always flies by and you can walk a lot without feeling tired. The embankment is decorated with beautiful marble sculptures.
In the evening the city transforms. Everything is illuminated and Da Nang sparkles with all the colors of the rainbow. The Vietnamese clearly do not spare money on lighting. By the way, they do this not only for tourists, but, for the most part, for city residents.
Da Nang area
Danang, like Singapore, has its own Merlion. Actually it's dragon fish. Koi carps are very common in Asia (they can be found in almost every pond). They are the ones who are bottle-fed at Yang Bay Falls. There is a legend that every self-respecting carp dreams of becoming a dragon all his life. When he grows up a little and gains wisdom, he reaches a magical river and swims against the current. Underwater sharp rocks, shoals, whirlpools and rapids lie in wait for him on this dangerous path. If his spirit is not broken and he overcomes all difficulties, soon the so-called dragon gates will open before him: jumping over them, he will turn into a dragon - large, brave, wise and immortal. At the moment of jumping through the gate, the transformation occurs.
Just recently (2014) a beautiful amusement park — Asia Park. It is still under construction, but most of its territory is already open to visitors. The Ferris wheel in the park is clearly visible from any bridge.
8 kilometers from the city center (we take the Dragon Bridge as our starting point) there are Marble Mountains, in which marble is still mined and very beautiful sculptures are made.
Outside the city, towards Hue, there is Observation deck — Hai Van Pass, which overlooks the coast surrounded by mountains. Locals love this place for romantic evenings.
If you are coming to Da Nang for a few days, I would highly recommend visiting Mt. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable and we did not visit it. Probably our whole trip started because of this mountain. One day I saw beautiful photos on Instagram and realized that I simply had to visit here. Firstly, you can get to the mountain by cable car (one of the 10 longest cable cars in the world). Now the price on the official website of Ba Na Hills is 550,000 VND round trip per adult. Secondly, on the mountain there is a beautiful castle, an amusement park, the oldest wine Vault(operating since the 1950s) and of course the Buddha statues and pagodas. Mount Ba Na was founded by French colonialists in 1919 and this has left a significant mark to this day. In a word, you definitely need to visit the mountain. For myself, I simply increased the priority for this attraction on my next trip to Vietnam

I didn’t find that there are buses to the cable car, so I advise you to use a taxi (negotiate for a fixed amount) or rent a bike. The Vietnamese word for cable car is “cap treo” or “cap cheo”. Ruins of Michonne- the farthest attraction of Da Nang, located 50 km from the city. Hoi An is closest to the ruins. Michon is a temple complex of the Champa Empire. It is often compared to the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, but the size of the Vietnamese complex is very modest. During the Vietnamese-American War, the complex was practically razed to the ground; most of the buildings were badly damaged and are now a pile of stones overgrown with grass. This was the main reason why we did not go to Michonne. And considering the fact that we also have the Ponagar Towers in Nha Trang, the Poklongorai Towers in Phan Rang and the Poshanu Cham Towers in Phan Rang/Mui Ne, we decided not to waste time visiting the ruins in Da Nang.
How to get to Danang?
Da Nang has international Airport, where you can fly direct from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambodia and South Korea. As for Vietnamese cities, flights here operate from Haiphong, Haiphong and other cities.
Since Vietnam is quite well developed bus service, then it will be enough to select only the carrier. Sleeping buses, where you ride reclining, are very popular in the country. In this position, it will be much more convenient to cover a distance of several hundred kilometers than while sitting.
Da Nang can also be reached from neighboring cities by bike. For example, Hoi An is only 25-30 km, and Hue is 100 km from the city.

Linh Ung Pagoda
Linh Ung Pagoda, located on mountain peak Monkey Peninsula is one of the most visited attractions in Da Nang. The temple is famous primarily for the huge 67-meter statue of Lady Buddha - the Goddess of Mercy Guan Yin.

2. Marble Mountains
