After the war, a mineral water plant was built in the city, and today the vicinity of Svalyava is full of Borjomi-type springs, with many sanatoriums located near them. Coming here for water treatment is useful if you complain of gastritis, pancreatitis, irritable bowel syndrome or even diabetes.

No matter how ancient the city was, wars, uprisings and other disasters did not contribute to the preservation of ancient monuments.
