Ski slopes for beginners. The best ski resorts in Italy. Ski center "Loza"

Where to learn the basics of skating and feel confident when turning and braking: we talk about the best Russian ski resorts, which are ideal for beginner skiers. Go!

When going to a ski resort for the first time, learn two things. Firstly, the presence of schools with instructors. And secondly, the number of “green” and “blue” routes. “Green” ones are the most gentle, wide, comfortable, usually served by very convenient lifts. Here it is easy to learn the basics of skating and feel confident when sliding, turning and braking. You will need the “blue” tracks when you get bored with the “green” ones, and this will happen very quickly. If you decide to devote several days to skiing, let there be several slopes that suit you, so that you have plenty to choose from.

"Kant", Moscow

If you live in Moscow and are just about to start skiing or snowboarding, take a closer look at the Kant ski center in the south of the capital. Yes, the landscape here is not quite alpine, but there are many training routes, it’s convenient to get there, you can come and train when time allows.

In total, there are 17 trails with a total length of three and a half kilometers. The average length of flat slopes is up to 350 meters, steep ones - 80 meters. There are as many as nine slopes allocated for beginners - something like this cannot be found even on the most major resorts Russia. Attention: those routes that are designated as “Training” in the diagram are intended only for sports school students. “Nagornaya” is the largest ski school in Moscow, where both children and adults are taught to ski.

If you are already good at skating on your own and want to hone your technique on your own, choose those trails that are designated “Free Skating”. All slopes are equipped with a sufficient number of lifts and lights are turned on in the evening. Kant has a store, equipment rental and storage.

Address: Moscow, Elektrolitny proezd, building 7, building 2.

How to get there: five minutes walk from the Nagornaya metro station.

They are quite short - about 300 meters, but varied. In the evenings, there is lighting in one of the areas with “blue” routes. There is a baby lift for children on the gentle slope near the parking lot.

Funny video from Evening Quarter about alpine skiing :)!

When asked to recommend resorts for learning to ski, you need to keep the following in mind. The fact is that, in my opinion, going to the Alps to learn how to ride is not entirely correct. Let me explain. It’s so great to relax and ride in the Alps that this is what you should go there for - to enjoy the ride. No skating training required big slides, any training slope is a fairly flat surface, which can be found on hills in the Moscow region, on the Volga, in the Urals, etc. It would be nice to have a chairlift too, so that you don’t get bored while learning - you can talk and relax while you go up, but with us you can easily learn on a rope tow. Our prices for instructors are lower; they will definitely supply skis/boards. But when you learn not to be afraid of a slope and calmly turn, then choose resorts where they will “install” equipment for you, for example, famous French instructors. Today we will talk about them. If you are not limited in funds and insist on starting training for you or your children in the Alps, well, then let’s go!
