Overview of the Livigno ski resort:

Livigno - this young but rapidly developing resort is located near the border with Switzerland, just 35 kilometers from Bormio. The resort got its sonorous name thanks to the word “lawine” translated from German as “avalanche”. Since the 16th century, the area has been considered a tax-free trade zone. Historically, this fact was preceded by centuries of smuggling in the area.

The situation changed dramatically only in the seventies of the 20th century - Livigno became one of the best ski resorts in Europe and received the World Snow Award, leaving behind the giants of the ski business: Saalbach-Hinteglemm, Val d'Isere and...

Fans of alpine skiing come here from all over the world. In addition, the ski resort in Italy has become a place of pilgrimage for true connoisseurs of freestyle and snowboarding - the slopes are perfectly suited for this.
