When sakura blooms in the Czech Republic. Spring Prague in cherry blossoms (basic tips for an active tourist). We travel on our own - we plan and book ourselves

“Is it true that the best time to go to Prague is in the spring? And if in the spring, then when: in April, or closer to summer, in May? Or, on the contrary, in March - after all, there are still few tourists after winter, and everything should be cheaper... But maybe it’s still cold in March?”

These and similar questions most often concern tourists and travelers - those who go to the Czech Republic for the first time in the spring.

Spring in Prague is when it’s like this!

And this is also Prague spring.

Prague is beautiful at any time of the year, but There really is no better time than spring to visit the Czech capital. There are not so many tourists yet, and it’s a pleasure to walk the winding streets of Prague, where every old house has its own history or mystical legend, and sometimes even its own ghost.

And if the day turns out to be sunny and not windy, the walk will be doubly pleasant.

Doubly…

But spring in Prague is often capricious, and it can be difficult to guess which spring month is best to go on a Prague voyage.

However, there are still some patterns in the weather of the Prague spring; we will try to identify and identify them.

Weather in Prague in spring

Valeria (28 years old, Voronezh) - “Weather forecasters can be wrong”:

“Two years ago, I helped a friend with advice before a trip to Prague, and with her we looked at the April forecasts for every week on all sites. We chose, as it seemed to us, the most suitable seven-day period with promises of almost summer heat, and she took T-shirts with her from her clothes... On the spot, she then had to put them all on herself at once, and walk around the city like cabbage. It’s good that she took at least one sweater with her, in which she left the cold Voronezh at night.

Forecasters, as a science, were not up to par that time. But next year we are already showing off with her in photographs from Prague in April, showing off our “bicycle” tan, and in just two days! This is what happened on a “spring weekend in Prague.” In short - whatever your luck!

Bring different clothes with you so you don't get cold.

Choose your clothes closer to the beginning of the Prague tour: a short-term forecast before the trip itself will be more accurate. Be sure to provide protection from rain and wind: an umbrella or a windbreaker with a hood, and a warm sweater won’t hurt either. And comfortable shoes for walking along cobbled streets old Prague simply necessary - no stiletto heels or new, unworn dress shoes!

Prague paving stones are always good, but in spring they are especially beautiful...
Therefore, your shoes should be comfortable.

Spring Prague can be met with a hot, almost summer day in April, and piercing winds with sub-zero night temperatures in March, and heavy rain in May. A word to the weather forecasters.

A Segway excursion is for any age: it’s like you’re riding, but it’s like you’re walking.

  • 47,000 rubles - in March;
  • 62,000 rubles - in April;
  • 74,000 rubles - in May.

The price usually includes, in addition to flights, accommodation and breakfast at the hotel, transfer from the airport upon arrival (and back upon departure) and medical insurance.

Some operators include a walking city tour in the price.

We travel on our own - we plan and book ourselves

Choosing a hotel

average price double room 4* hotel in the city center in spring 6,000 rubles per night.
But if you want to save money, you can easily find three rubles for two thousand or even one and a half thousand.

Evgeniy, 39 years old, Moscow. Review of the hotel "AURUS"

“On our last trip to Prague in April 2017, we rented a 2-room room at the 4* Aurus hotel. This, one might say, is in the very, very center of Prague: 3 minutes - and you are on the Charles Bridge! The building is old, there are wooden beams everywhere on the ceiling, the furniture in the room is in a classic style, and the rooms themselves are huge and generally comfortable, but there are no slippers or bathrobes.

The room has a minibar, but for a fee, and there is a kettle with tea bags. In the morning in a large beautiful dining room Buffet, but the breakfasts themselves do not have much variety: the main dishes are omelet or scrambled eggs. But there are many places nearby where you can eat good and tasty food. All staff, without exception, understand Russian, are friendly and helpful. It was my youngest daughter’s birthday, and in the evening, when we returned from a walk, Masha found a greeting card from the hotel and a box of chocolates on her bed - she was delighted, it was so unexpected!”

There are many good hotels in the city - there is plenty to choose from.

Flights

The flight will cost less if, preferably, 4-6 months in advance. A round-trip flight from Moscow to Prague in economy class for 1 person for any month of spring will cost about 10,000 rubles with transfers and about 14,000 rubles direct.

Which is better: tour or independent travel?

What is preferable - take a tour to Prague or book a hotel and fly on your own?

This is decided in each case separately, because there are many options, and careful calculation and comparison is needed.

May... Our whole nature is just coming to life, there are more and more sunny days... The soul sings, I want change. And we decided to go on vacation, the choice was the Czech Republic, namely its capital - Prague.
The weather was wonderful, the heat was unusual for this time... The city was covered with bright, lush greenery, on every corner there were trees of indescribable beauty... It was sakura!

Having arrived, we quickly checked into the Pyramida 4* hotel, which is located in close proximity to Prague Castle. This is a good four with a favorable location. We were given a studio room. A huge room with a loggia comfortably accommodated 3 adults and a 2-year-old child. There are few Russians in the hotel, mainly this is a place favored by the Germans. The food is standard, not very varied (sausages, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, various cereals, there are coffee machines, juice, tea to choose from, delicious pastries), but the food is delicious, the food is always fresh. In May, there was construction going on near the hotel, but, oddly enough, no noise was heard in the rooms. Cleaned and changed towels in the hotel every day. Convenient location, across the street tram station, 5 minutes and you are at the metro, 15 minutes and you are at Wenceslas Square. A 5-7 minute walk is the Strahov Monastery, where the monks brew delicious St. Norbert beer, and they also prepare excellent knee. This is where we headed for dinner. Having eaten to our heart's content, and at a low price, we decided to walk home...Shops close very early in the Czech Republic, so that evening we did not have time to buy anything tasty for our room, but later we took this into account.

The next day was sightseeing tour in Prague. I (since I was the only one who went on excursions, my companions had already been to Prague several times before and went there just to take a walk and relax, and not for the sake of an excursion) came across a very good guide, everything is accessible and very interesting! The most beautiful were shown architectural structures center of Prague, walked along the famous Charles Bridge (where many legends were told, and Prague, like any old City, during its existence has become overgrown with myths and legends). And then we had lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant, where national dishes were served for lunch: soups (though very fatty, for my taste, like almost all food in the Czech Republic), fried meat, dumplings and, of course, beer!
The Czech Republic is one of the most safe countries In Europe, in Prague, as the capital, there is a very large influx of tourists, and accordingly, crime is higher, but all it is limited to is the presence of petty thieves - pickpockets. But during the entire vacation we did not encounter a single case.

It’s also a good sightseeing tour of Prague Castle, where they talk about the history of the Czech Republic, its rulers... In the evening you can take a walk there, wander along the alleys of the park, sit on benches, enjoying the scenery...
What struck me most from the architecture of Prague was St. Vitus Cathedral.

St. Vitus Cathedral is a magnificent building, the most recognizable symbol of Prague. Located in the heart of the area, the temple amazes with its size and majestic architecture. This Gothic Catholic cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Prague and houses the tomb of the Kings of Bohemia and the repository of the coronation regalia.

You go inside, and your heart shrinks, you start rubbing your shoulders and try to wrap yourself up, hide, despite the 25 degree heat outside, it’s cool inside, it even seemed to me like some kind of otherworldly cold... and you feel like such a small, defenseless creature in the whole universe, no one can protect you, you are all open and even a little lost... Then all your feelings return and you begin to look at the frescoes, stained glass windows... They are beautiful. Of all Gothic cathedrals and the temples that I saw, and there are quite a few of them, the Cologne Cathedral struck me most, with St. Vitus Cathedral in second place. A truly monumental structure, stunning and mysterious, the creators of this cathedral achieved the desired effect; the impressions of visiting it will last a lifetime.

Unfortunately, we only had 8 days and did not have time for field trips, since a couple more days were allocated for a trip to visit friends in Olomouc. The city, which is more than 700 years old, stands on the banks of the Morava River. It’s not for nothing that they say that Olomouc is a second Prague, only quieter and calmer. This town left only positive emotions, although we just walked around its center, looked at the Town Hall, visited Upper Square, which is decorated with the standard plague pillar - the Column of the Holy Trinity. There are a lot of fountains in the city, which gives it a certain romantic color.
We finally visited a couple shopping centers, things here are much cheaper than in Prague itself.

The capital of the Czech Republic is famous for its zoo. This is one of the largest zoos in Europe, covering an area of at least 60 hectares. That's where we went. Sat down on regular bus, Ending station, which is the Zoo, bought a ticket at the box office and went on an exciting journey through the kingdom of flora and fauna. There are both indoor and outdoor pavilions. My favorite was the Indonesian Jungle pavilion. The atmosphere of the jungle is completely recreated there, stuffiness, high humidity, lush vegetation, monkeys of different sizes scurry back and forth along the vines. The zoo breeds rare and endangered species, and also has its own long-livers. On the upper tier there is an ornithological corner where you can admire various types birds, as well as relax in the shade, sitting on a bench and listen to their singing. Also on the territory of the zoo there are playgrounds, cafes and snack bars, cable car, souvenir shops. Near the cafe, ducks walk around the territory, which are not at all afraid of people and evoke a lot of emotions in children.

Prague also has one of the largest water parks in Europe, people go there free buses in time until late. We bought tickets for the whole day including access to the spa. As for the spa, it’s worth warning right away, in the baths in the Czech Republic there are no gender differences, they are all common, which can plunge those who don’t know into shock, before entering the spa you are asked to take off your swimsuits and are given towels, then you go to the steam rooms, and there are not many of them there, different temperatures, humidity, also a jacuzzi and a swimming pool. On the territory of the water park there are many pools of different temperatures and depths, children’s pools with mushrooms, there are outdoor pools where there are sun loungers and you can sunbathe, as well as an imitation of the ocean shore, with sand and waves, and, of course, slides, I rode them all. We were delighted with the water park!

There is also a Dino Park... too unusual place, which you can visit combined with shopping... With the help of this unique park you will be transported to prehistoric times. It displays life-size exhibits of animals from the Mesozoic era, in the natural habitat that prevailed on Earth millions of years ago. All dinosaur models are voiced, and many of them can move. The park is divided into sectors, there is a living plant of those times, which was considered extinct until 1994, small informational films are also shown, there is a hall where archaeological finds, teeth, bones, there is also a pipe that creates an imitation of outer space. We also got there on our own by metro, having previously noted the addresses for ourselves.

How I want to wake up after the winter cold and gray dank thaw in a blooming spring! So that there are no gray snowdrifts, muddy puddles and the oppressive gloom of nature around you. I want a holiday for the soul, a spring mood and the awakening of nature after winter hibernation. If such thoughts keep popping into your head every day, then perhaps you should think about rest. One of the most interesting and inexpensive options there will be rest unforgettable journey to the capital of the Czech Republic.

On April 30, Czechs, like many other Europeans, celebrate the end of the winter cold and welcome spring. True, this is quite strange, because spring has already begun for them a long time ago. On this day, the “Night of the Witches” or “Pálení čarodźjnic” festival takes place throughout the Czech Republic.

Initially, the night from April 30 to May 1 was considered magical and was called Walpurgis. In ancient times, people believed that it was at this time that witches flock to the annual Sabbath. But after protracted inquisition processes, the ancient pagan holiday of veneration of magic turned into a night of burning witches. These are such interesting metamorphoses. Of course, today Walpurgis Night is not associated with the chanting of evil spirits. It is rather a cheerful celebration of the arrival of spring. On this day, it is customary to jump over a fire to cleanse yourself from evil or simply throw notes into the fire with your shortcomings that interfere with life. Noisy festivities take place throughout the city all night long, and everywhere you can see witches and sorceresses dressed in costumes. They gradually flock towards the top of Petrin Hill to perform a ritual burning in Petrin Hill Park.

After all the witches, or at least their effigies, are burned at the stake on the night of May 1 in the Czech capital, a new day comes. And it is called the Day of Labor, Spring and Lovers. On this day, according to Czech tradition, all lovers must kiss under the cherry tree. This event, pleasant in all respects, symbolizes a long union and unfading love.

By the way, on the same Petrin hill, among various trees, cherries also grow. Therefore, after the stormy Walpurgis Night, a truly heavenly time begins on Petřín.

On May 2 and 3, Prague hosts a major sporting event - Volkswagen Marathon Weekend 2015. The start and finish of the prestigious marathon will take place at Old Town Square. Runners from all over the world will be supported throughout the distance not only by Prague residents and guests of the capital, but also by over 20 musical groups.

In addition to the main race, there is a lot more interesting things to do. For example, Maraton Music Festival, sports exhibition Sport Expo or a short family Mini-marathon. To become an official participant in the marathon, it is not enough to come to Prague for May. It is necessary to register in advance as the number of participants is strictly limited.

On May 8, Prague celebrates another holiday - Liberation from Fascism Day. True, the date of liberation is considered to be May 9, but the Czech Republic decided to postpone the celebration to a day, like in the rest of Europe.

This is truly the largest gastronomic event not only in Prague, but throughout the Czech Republic. In special tents and in the open air you can taste about 100 varieties of Czech beer from large companies, brewing concerns and small breweries. Of course, everything at the festival is thought out. There will be beer, various goodies, and live music.

An amazing show awaits Prague residents and guests of the capital on May 15. On this day, one of the patrons of Prague and Bohemia, John of Nepomuk, is honored in Prague. The main action will take place at the Charles Bridge: light show, music, a regatta of a flotilla of historical ships and colorful fireworks.

To celebrate their thirtieth anniversary, Swedish pop-rock duo Roxette are performing at the O2 Arena. You will hear the group's already legendary hits. Among them, “Neverending Love”, “It Must Have Been Love”, “Listen To Your Heart” and many others.

If you prefer something heavier to rock, then go to Def Leppard on May 23. The British band will rock heavy metal in the same arena.

IN last days May The Royal Gardens of Prague Castle invite everyone to the Food Festival. Prague in May invites you to test the culinary skills of the best restaurant chefs in the Czech Republic and taste local and international cuisine. In addition, sip a glass or two of Moravian wine or Czech beer. This festival can be safely attended by the whole family. For children there will be a playground not only with entertainment, but also with the opportunity to cook something delicious themselves.

This is not all the entertainment in Prague for March, April and May. TO romantic walks you can add breathtaking sights to the charming Prague bus excursions to ancient Czech cities and castles or a voyage to one of the cities of Europe, say, Dresden, Munich, Nuremberg or, for example, Vienna. Choose a time, take your loved ones and friends and come book a tour. And we will select the best program for you!

The weather in Prague is much more familiar to our tourists. Compared to Greece or Egypt, the weather here is almost native. Only winter is warmer and drier.

In summer, from May to August, it can be very hot. But this is compensated by periodic downpours. In winter and autumn, on the contrary, there is little rain.

The weather is very changeable. In the morning the bright sun may shine, and in the middle of the day a cold wind or rain suddenly blows. In summer, never walk around Prague without a windbreaker, or at least take one with you.

December (Prosinec – time for Christmas carols). Temperatures fluctuate around 0 °C. Rain, rare snow. Exactly on New Year As luck would have it, it rains more often than it snows.

January (Leden – “icy”). The coldest month. average temperature–3 °C. Chilly. But discounts in stores can warm you up well after the Christmas holidays.

February (Únor – “to dive”, ice floes melt and dive). Temperature around –1 °C. Little sun. Rain and snow are very rare. This month is best for ski resorts Czech Republic.

March (Březen – “birch”, birch trees begin to bloom). It's finally spring! +5 °C, sunny days. The first flowers and leaves on the trees.

April (Duben – “oaky”, leaves bloom on oak trees). +9 °C. More and more flowers are emitting a divine aroma, and birds are singing. But the weather can be deceiving! This month, be sure to take warm clothes with you.

May (Květen – month of “blooming”). This month is optimal for visiting Prague. Everything is blooming, the weather is warm, but not hot. Prague parks are simply beautiful. Good to ride water bus and look at the flowering shores. Average temperature +15 °C.

June (Červen – “red”). The first fruits begin to ripen (turn red). +18 °C. Warm and good. But in good weather there are exceptions. In the form of sudden heavy downpours or cold nights.

July (Červenec – “little June”). Hot month. Temperature above +20 °C. It is often stuffy and hot. Only torrential downpours can save us. This is not the best month for visiting palaces and museums, and especially for hiking in the Prague hills.

August (Srpen – “sickle”, harvest began). A little less hot than in July. +18 °C on average. At the end of the month it often rains and thunderstorms. When going on a trip, don't forget to take an umbrella with you. There are good sales in stores.

September (Září – “warm”). Autumn in Prague is truly golden. The golden roofs of the palaces glow and the trees begin to turn yellow. Bright sun, but not as hot as in summer. Temperature +15 °C. Heavy rain is possible but rare.

October (Říjen – “deer”). Very changeable weather. The average temperature is +9 °C, but there can be warm days +15 °C and cold days +5 °C. It rains often, but it is no longer torrential. This month is the best time to visit the palaces and museums of Prague.

When is the best time to go to Prague? I often hear this question from my tourists. In my opinion, Prague is good at any time of the year, good and interesting in its own way. Take a look at how I perceive the Prague seasons.

Spring Summer

Now May is the time for chestnuts. Huge trees stand like kings, generously decorated with large, pyramidal inflorescences.

Come to Kampa, here in the park under the Charles Bridge young people relax on the fresh lawns. Somewhere a guitar is playing, someone is playing with a ball, someone is practicing juggling. Chestnuts lead us from Kampa to Streletsky Island. The road goes through the Lehi Bridge. From the bridge you can easily touch the white flowers.

We also have red chestnuts, admire them on Carmelite Street, right under the Baroque Church of Our Lady the Victorious.

Summer is coming into its own. June. The flowering of the trees is almost over. On a warm evening we walk along Parizhskaya.

Luxurious boutique windows and equally luxurious building facades. But something is now more important than luxury, something is dizzying, making you forget about everything. This is the scent of linden - the scent of Prague. Linden is a symbol of the Czech Republic, its leaves and inflorescences are on banknotes of the Czech crown, on the stripes of officers of the Czech army. Wenceslas Square, Na Przhikopakh Street - these are the addresses of evening romance, the addresses of a meeting with a fragrant linden tree.

Hot July. I want shade and coolness. We are in the French park of the Cesky Krumlov castle.

Baroque order, a perfectly trimmed living border, a low one made of boxwood, a medium one formed by yew and huge green walls of elm. There are four trees under the fountains in the center of the park. The dark brown crown creates the perfect shadow, let's hurry there. Finally we are cool, but where have the brown leaves gone - there is a green curtain above us! Miracles! This is a magical beech tree, the outer side of its leaves is red-brown and the inner side is green. A beautiful, light-loving tree with a spreading crown. A tree that likes to play tricks on us.

Autumn winter

September - and chestnut again. Children come home with their pockets full of its fruits. I envy them a little; I also want to walk around the park looking for chestnuts and admiring their color. Collect fruits that are cool and slightly moist to the touch. I can’t resist, I pick one up, it will be with me in memory of the September sunny days.

October. For the second month already, autumn has been playing with colors, coloring Prague gardens in its favorite colors. Yellow, brown, dark brown and purple red. We are going to look at the wild vineyard. Its green leaves have been blending into the general background all summer, and now the time has come! Now the vineyard cannot be confused with anything, people look with bated breath at the walls overgrown with vines - purple walls!

Walls of autumn Prague. Gardens under Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery, Uvoz. The leaves will not last long, you need to capture this moment in order to remember the purple leaves throughout the white winter.

Winter in Prague. Prague in winter is completely different. Not covered by the greenery of gardens and squares, it is all open to view. From Petřín Hill or from Hradcany Square they look at her as if she were a naked beauty. She has no flaw, we found out about it when the leaves fell. The luxurious dress has been thrown off, but she has not become worse, she is only a little chilly. Frozen tourists dream of summer. Stupid, under the thick foliage you will not see all the charms of the beauty of Prague.

Well, if you're lucky and it snows, the city will turn into a real winter's tale. Taking home photographs of snow-covered Prague is like a gift, like a win.

And it's spring again...

“Golden shower” is what forsythia is called in the Czech Republic. March can still be considered a winter month. Here the frost may turn up and the snow may pamper you, but spring is already on the doorstep. You can feel it in the air, forsythia will remind us of this. Thin, bare twigs of the bush will suddenly light up with yellow lights, and golden rain will fly. Is there really so much of it in the city, yellow bushes at every step, spring is making itself known loudly? Then the flowers will fly around, and the forsythia’s green leaves will not stand out among the usual urban vegetation. But this is only for the time being, until a year later the “golden rain” begins again.

Convenient location, tram stop across the road, 5 minutes and you are at the metro, 15 minutes and you are at Wenceslas Square.

The next day there was a sightseeing tour of Prague. I (since I was the only one who went on excursions, my companions had already been to Prague several times before and went there just to walk and relax, and not for the sake of an excursion) came across a very good guide, everything is accessible and very interesting! The most beautiful architectural structures of the center of Prague were shown, we walked along the famous Charles Bridge (where many legends were told, and Prague, like any ancient city, has become overgrown with myths and legends during its existence). And then we had lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant, where national dishes were served for lunch: soups (though very fatty, for my taste, like almost all food in the Czech Republic), fried meat, dumplings and, of course, beer!
The Czech Republic is one of the safest countries in Europe; in Prague, as the capital, there is a very large influx of tourists, and accordingly, crime is higher, but all it is limited to is the presence of petty thieves - pickpockets.

Of all the Gothic cathedrals and temples that I saw, and there are quite a few of them, the one that struck me most was the Cologne Cathedral, with St.

This town left only positive emotions, although we just walked around its center, looked at the Town Hall, and visited the Upper Square, which is decorated with the standard plague pillar - the Column of the Holy Trinity. There are a lot of fountains in the city, which gives it a certain romantic color.
Finally, we visited a couple of shopping centers; things here are much cheaper than in Prague itself.

The capital of the Czech Republic is famous for its zoo. This is one of the largest zoos in Europe, covering an area of at least 60 hectares. That's where we went. We boarded a regular bus, the final stop of which is the Zoo, bought a ticket at the box office and set off on an exciting journey through the kingdom of flora and fauna. On the upper tier there is an ornithological corner where you can admire various species of birds, as well as relax in the shade, sitting on a bench and listen to their singing. Also on the territory of the zoo there are children's playgrounds, cafes and snack bars, a cable car, and souvenir shops. Near the cafe, ducks walk around the territory, which are not at all afraid of people and evoke a lot of emotions in children.

Prague also has one of the largest water parks in Europe; free buses run there until late.

There is also Dino Park...also an unusual place that you can visit combined with shopping... With the help of this unique park you will be transported to prehistoric times. It displays life-size exhibits of animals from the Mesozoic era, in the natural habitat that prevailed on Earth millions of years ago. All dinosaur models are voiced, and many of them can move. The park is divided into sectors, there is a living plant of those times, which was considered extinct until 1994, small informational films are also shown, there is a hall where archaeological finds, teeth, bones are presented, and there is also a pipe that creates an imitation of outer space. We also got there on our own by metro, having previously noted the addresses for ourselves.

And all because it is in spring that the beautiful Prague is buried in flowers. After all, in the spring, luxurious tulips bloom in the flower beds, and fertile trees, of which there are hundreds of thousands in Prague, envelop all Prague parks and gardens with their blooms. For example, apple trees, pears, hazels, sakura, plums and, of course, beautiful magnolia bloom here. And tourists try to get to Prague in the spring just to take a photo with magnolias. In this post I will tell you where magnolia blooms in Prague and show a photo of this beautiful tree.

When I went to Crimea for the first time as a child, I was greatly impressed by magnolias. A child from Siberia would not be surprised by the blossoming apple trees, but the magnolias were a marvel.

Magnolias usually bloom for 3-7 days. Magnolia flowering season in Prague: late March – early April. In 2018, magnolias began to bloom only now—April 7. So if you hesitate a little, you can miss the magnolia flowers.

Bright flowers of rich color will not leave anyone indifferent. Large magnolia flowers look very impressive, because... During flowering there is not a leaf on the trees.

Request to all residents and tourists of Prague: When taking a photo, do not shake the tree or climb on it. After all, the photos will turn out great anyway, especially in the gentle sunset light, but you shouldn’t mock the tree.

Prague parks where you can find blooming magnolias

Wallenstein Garden is a garden where you can take a photo with a white peacock and look at the large carp in the pond. The park is very beautiful even without magnolias, thanks to the view of Prague Castle and a large number flowers and sculptures. You can read more about the garden in our article ““.

Vojanovy Sady– this is where the coolest and most lush magnolias are located. The park also attracts people because there are a lot of peacocks walking freely around it. In addition to magnolias, pears, hazels, and tulips bloom in the park.

Magnolia Strahov Monastery. I have never been able to photograph a magnolia blooming in this place. There were several more magnolias on the site, but it was not possible to photograph them.

Magnolia in the Park Podvinný mlýn. There are 2 large magnolias growing in the park.

Františkánská zahrada, in which one small, but very graceful magnolia with bright pink flowers grows.

In the Vinohrady area magnolias are also occasionally found in private gardens. I can’t tell you specific addresses, because... We like to wander around Vinohrady just like that without planning a route.

Free standing magnolia concert hall Rudolfinum. Typically the tree flowers later than magnolias in Wallenstein or.
