The composition of the jury, headed by the chairman, is approved by the committee and is formed from famous artists, cultural and artistic figures, teachers of creative universities, directors and public figures of Russia and other countries. Riviera Water Park is one of the largest water parks in the country. By official information it has more than 50 attractions and entertainment for every taste, but it still seemed smaller to me. However, to be honest, few people are able to complete even half of the declared attractions in one trip to the park, at least we couldn’t. It’s good if a child and his parents are enough for a couple of dozen slides))

Waterpark Riviera Kazan through our eyes - review and photos

So we have come, in fact, to a review of the Riviera water park itself in Kazan. In general, it’s worth noting that taking photographs in a water park costs 300 rubles, but many take selfies on their phones and walk around with cameras on their entire chests, it seems like security didn’t pin anyone down or force them to delete photos)) Yes, it would be a pity to delete such bright ones pictures!

The photo shows more slides and outdoor pools. I filmed more of them because... It was much more pleasant to swim outside, so we mostly spent our time there. Plus, there is a safe depth, warm water and suitable slides for children. And also, when you swim under the autumn day open air, the feeling is very cool!

Once we were in the Riviera in winter, and these pools were also working, the water in them was constantly kept warm. Then, of course, my child and I did not dare to undertake such a feat, but adults are happy to go swimming in the falling snow. There is a sauna nearby (which is visible in the photo above on the right) to warm up, but it is very small and if people decide to crowd in there, I’m afraid it will fall apart like a tower))

There are two main pools outside. There is a warm pool with a depth of 0.8 m, just for kids, with appropriate slides. For adults, the water here is literally knee-deep.

The second one is much larger, its depth is 1.2 m, and there are three slides around it for descent. Simple slides, but higher and steeper than in the children's pool. School-age children usually swim here already.

All children must wear life jackets; lifeguards strictly monitor this and immediately grab the whistle if they see intruders. Even if your child knows how to swim, according to water park rules, he must wear a life vest. Mishuta and I were reprimanded once, now the child is always wearing a vest, otherwise it’s wildly unpleasant when you are reprimanded in front of such a crowd:/

There is a large Ferris wheel right behind the pools. A ticket for this must be purchased separately, but a discount is available for water park visitors. To be honest, not many people ride it, apparently no one has the strength to ride a wheel anymore, but at sunset the view from it is truly stunning.

Also for an additional fee of 200 rubles. you can jump on a trampoline. The attraction is called “Bungee”, but still its essence boils down to jumping, although quite high due to the tight ropes.

If you don’t want to ride the water slides, but just don’t mind swimming in the pool and relaxing on the shore, there is the possibility of a separate entrance, without entering the water park. Tickets for the pool alone cost 200-400 rubles, depending on the season and day of the week. One of the warm water pools…

And in the second, the water is not heated, in the fall it was bbrrrr what a cold!

Well, there is an area for relaxing on sun loungers. In September, people were still sunbathing with all their might, although I can’t say that it was very warm, just sunny.

Usually these pools are visited by the residents of Kazan themselves, because... They don’t want to overpay for a water park (they’ve probably been there more than once), but they want to relax by the water. But if you are coming from another city, like us, then I don’t see the point of taking tickets only to the swimming pools, although it is cheaper, it is still not something worth traveling from afar for.

By the way, if you take it to a water park, then entry into these pools is free for you. That is, if you wish, you can swim in them, but again, why, if there are no slides or other entertainment there, and there are no less people.

Inside the water park is also, of course, crowded. There are crowds everywhere, mountains of flops and abandoned towels.

I recommend keeping a close eye on your child. It seems that this is already clear and I usually literally “pass” Misha, but even then, pirate ship I lost him in a huge crowd of children and adults. If you go on a roller coaster together, then you go down first, and then only the child. Because in this case, you can “accept” it, and the employees assigned to each attraction will monitor the child’s sending down the slide.

Very close by is the excellent Riviera Hotel, where guests from other cities who come to the Kazan water park prefer to stay.

In general, the impressions of the water park are the most positive! The water park is large, there are really a lot of attractions, everything is thought out, there are lifeguards who really carefully monitor everything that happens around the pool. Of course, there are a lot of people, but this is almost always a problem in the water park. I advise you to go early in the morning, so you have a chance to spend at least a couple of hours in relative peace.

The small northern town was covered with snow up to the very roofs of the houses, and everything that had been cleared yesterday was covered by the blizzard again. The drifting snow swirled around like a little dog, her feet were freezing in her old demi-season ankle boots, but the woman stubbornly made her way through the bad weather to her goal, and her soul felt joyful and somehow warm like spring. After all, what a person needs is a dream and love, Martha thought so and smiled slightly even with her lips blue from the cold at her thoughts. She had a dream for a long time, and it was absolutely “realizable,” as she chuckled to herself. Once I saw a program about Cote d'Azur, Martha once and for all fell in love with the beaches, promenades, cozy cafes and bright greenery of this corner of the Earth. Antibes, Cannes, Saint-Tropez – what names, music and that’s it! And most importantly, the people are tanned, beautifully and colorfully dressed, riding in convertibles, relaxing on bird-like yachts with sails instead of wings, always joyful and smiling. The woman wanted to become part of this holiday, even for a short time, to join the motley crowd, sit on the terraces of open cafes, drink chilled champagne and wonderful wines of France, taste, taste, and not eat, the exquisite dishes of the best chefs in the world. And this seemed feasible to her - she just needed to tighten her belt for about ten or twelve years, deny herself everything and save, save and save. Most of the years allotted for achieving the goal had passed, in a shabby box, in a secluded place in Martin’s small apartment, there was already a fair amount of money, but she still had to be patient - the woman wanted to save up not only for a trip, but also for luxurious outfits, beauty salons and restaurants - once go for a walk, to the fullest. There may be those who say that a dream should not be so mundane and material, but someone can swim in a pond, but for others the whole ocean is not enough. We are all different... and our dreams are different.
Eight years before the events described, Martha separated from her husband, having lived with him for no less than 2 months and 6 days after the wedding. He found another one - the story was as banal as white paper in an oiled piece of paper, like an ulcer on the body of a homeless person, so ordinary and disgusting that it’s not even worth talking about. And now, if it weren’t for a poorly timed program about the French Riviera, Martha would simply go crazy. And so - so she completely devoted herself to bringing it to life. cherished wish, giving up on his personal life. In the first years, friends disappeared - who is interested in communicating with a person who talks only about one thing, then close acquaintances disappeared - working in three places as a cleaner does not mean free time. Marta worked in the library, cleaned rooms in the city government, and on different days of the week helped with housework for several people who, for one reason or another, could not cope with household chores themselves. And so, this last activity of hers became the reason for the appearance of love in her life. This happened, as usually happens, completely unexpectedly.
One of her former employers, having met Marta on the street, complained that her neighbor, not yet an old man, was suffering from back pain and could not find an assistant. Marta, reluctantly, because she had only a little free time left, volunteered to help until the man found someone else...
“God, what a beauty you are,” the new employer greeted her with these words. The woman was seriously embarrassed. She was well aware that the only thing beautiful about her was her amazingly thick and long, light braid. And this one, go ahead, starts with feigned compliments. Over her thirty-two-year life, Martha studied her appearance thoroughly and, unlike many other representatives of the fairer sex, looked at herself with a sober gaze. A button nose, whitish eyelashes and eternally rosy cheeks - maybe once, several centuries ago, this would have been considered real peasant beauty, especially since she gained weight on cheap cereals, but the current standards of beauty were far and unattainable for her. And the man kept singing like a nightingale:

Where did you get it from? - and Martha had to explain that she was born in the same year when the magnificent film “Long Road in the Dunes” was released, which her mother liked so much that her daughter was named after the main character. While telling all this, she looked at her employer with interest from the corner of her eye. He was tall, stocky and muscular. The dark hair at the temples was sprinkled with gray, and the strong-willed jawline made the rather large, clearly defined lips more rigid. Handsome, but already old - about fifty, Martha thought and immediately began asking about her duties. He told everything briefly and matter-of-factly - he had injured his back a long time ago, during his service in Afghanistan, and now the old sore had come out and was tormenting him - there was no way I could save him. He can still cook simple food, but he can’t cope with cleaning.

They agreed on a price and Marta, promising to start work right away tomorrow, left, but the new acquaintance couldn’t get out of her head. While doing her favorite thing - counting banknotes in the treasured little moneybox, she remembered his words and wanted to believe these words until she trembled, until her knees were weak. For the first time in so many years, someone saw a woman in her, for the first time, it seemed, they sincerely admired her.
Half a year has passed since then. Marta has already learned almost everything about her employer - his name is Vadim, he served, was married, widowed, his daughter’s son is seriously ill. He idolized his grandson - this became clear to Martha already in the first days of their acquaintance. All the walls of his apartment were hung with portraits of the baby - laughing, serious, with a sly smile, with sad eyes. The child needed very complex and expensive therapy, it was needed urgently, and Vadim grew gloomy before his eyes. True, he sometimes still paid Martha compliments, and yesterday, he even said jokingly:
- Oh, I’ll ask you to marry me, beauty, but you’ll refuse... - and Martha even froze, she desperately wanted to say - so call me! - but she was shy and didn’t say anything. All this time, in her, like a sprout in damp spring soil, ready for the birth of something beautiful, the feeling matured, grew stronger and grew, and if in the first days she perceived all Vadim’s words as light flirting leading nowhere, now any I stringed the phrase onto a thread of memory, admired it in the evenings, savored this phrase like candy in childhood. And she had to admit to herself that she was in love, and sometimes it seemed to her that the feeling was mutual. Sometimes Vadim’s jokes and admiration ceased to be playful, his voice became velvety, his eyes became cloudy. They discussed so much during these six months - their favorite books, culinary recipes, and even something so far from the inner world as politics - and they did not ignore it. In conversations, Martha recognized Vadim, he became more and more understandable and closer, and it seemed to her that they had known each other for centuries. Their views coincided in many ways, he also liked old Hitchcock films, he also loved honey gingerbread and drank black coffee with milk for breakfast... And now she came to him through the wind and cold with a heart blooming like a mimosa in Cannes.
And then Vadim, with great difficulty holding back his bitterness, said that his grandson could die without new medications, and the society of Afghan veterans did not even respond to his request for financial assistance, and Marta suddenly thought that she could save the child, that she had money. In the evening, again counting and rearranging the banknotes, she tried to calm down and think soberly, but the decision had already been made - she simply could not watch how the person who had become near and dear to her was tormented by the realization of his powerlessness. Martha thought about a lot that evening - about the fact that she was no longer twenty, about the fact that she would never save that amount of money again, even about the fact that it was quite possible that she had missed out on a huge number of opportunities in her life because of her dream. , which suddenly became distant, ephemeral and disappearing like wisps of fog from a fresh breeze. She also thought that Vadim would never propose to her, that she had been wishful thinking all this time, but even this seemed unimportant to her. Now the main thing is to make sure that the joy of life lights up again in the eyes of the person who has become dear to her. The amount she had accumulated would be enough just for the first course of treatment, and then, she was sure, Vadim himself would come up with something. The only difficulty was that the man would not want to borrow money from her, or, moreover, just like that. But this, Martha believed, was solvable. Tomorrow the upset grandfather was going to visit the boy and go to the regional center for a few days. And so, the woman decided - then she would throw a wad of bills, put them in the pocket of her winter coat just before leaving, so that he would find them on the way. Further, Martha’s imagination was only enough to show Vadm’s gratitude; she had no doubt that it would be difficult for him not to spend what was already in his hands to save the baby. And then - here the woman looked into the glass of the window covered with an icy pattern, behind which the blizzard howled and sobbed - the days and nights will stretch on like carriages freight train, endless, dull, gray, without dreams and without love.
She collected all the magazines, all the press clippings about the Riviera, which she put on a shelf next to her box - the embodiment of a dream - for the last time, swallowing the tears that suddenly rolled up, treacherously, she looked through and threw them into the trash can, sitting down at the table, in in the light of the night light, she again counted her wealth and carefully folded the bills into an envelope as white as the sail of a yacht on which she would not ride. I wrote it down, after thinking a little, I tore out a sheet of paper from the notebook and wrote five words on it - “To Vadim for my grandson with warmth.” She chillily wrapped her shoulders in a shawl and began to wait for the morning.
And, behold, again snowflakes like wasps and fidgety drifting snow.
In the front door, quickly climbing the stairs, Marta, out of the corner of her eye, noticed newspapers and something else in the mailbox and sighed with relief - Vadim would take the afternoon bus. All morning she had been tormented by the fact that she might be late, but now everything should happen as planned.
The farewell turned out to be crumpled, the man asked her not to clean the apartment for a week while he was gone, thanked her for coming to say goodbye, and, leaving her for a minute, during which she managed to slip the money into her coat pocket, in the corridor, he returned with a rose in her hands.

A week passed... The woman was waiting for Vadim to call her with gratitude, but this did not happen. When a month passed, Martha lost hope. She didn’t feel sorry for the money, she was just saddened to tears that the person she fell in love with again turned out not to be what she thought. The rose had withered long ago, and now its head lay dry in the box where the dream had previously been hidden. Martha often opened the worn lid and inhaled a subtle smell - Cannes, Antibes...
A month later, she decided that she needed to dust Vadim’s apartment. They didn’t agree that way, but she wanted to look at his home again, maybe feel a little sad, maybe calm down a little... In the hallway there was a coat hanging on a hanger, in her pocket there was an envelope, whole and unopened.
And the next morning a letter arrived:
“Dear Martha! I disappeared for a long time - I was afraid to scare away luck, to drive away the happiness that had fallen on me. The Afghan Veterans Society collected the required amount for me. My grandson is recovering, and I will be back soon. Before that, I want to ask you, because when we meet again I will be embarrassed - would you like to become my wife?...”
