Bashkortostan. Summer. From arrival to departure.
I'll warn you in advance reviews will be positive. and negative ones.
I'll start with the positive ones, of course.
First I’ll tell you about the beauty, then about the buns and treats, then about food and accommodation, and then about the prices.
Or vice versa, as God wishes.

So:
Sanatorium-resort complex Yubileiny located on the shore of Lake Bannoe, just on the border Chelyabinsk region and the Republic of Bashkortostan, 40 km from Magnitogorsk and 310 from Ufa.

The places are incredibly beautiful. Lake Yakty-Kul (Bannoe) very clean. The water is clear.
There is a beach on the territory of the sanatorium, we will return a little later...,

In the meantime, let's take a look around the area...

The territory is huge. 35 hectares.
You can get lost.

I counted about a dozen playgrounds alone, plus more playgrounds on the beach.

Almost every building has a place for children's entertainment and game rooms.

Aren't you tired?
Then I will continue.)))

Kitchen.
Quite standard kitchen. No frills. Bar works. You can additionally buy ice cream and other delights directly in the dining room.
During the entire stay, I had to wait once. Something slowed down in the kitchen (or because we all arrived at the same minute).

If you want something unusual or, on the contrary, ordinary, you can go to the beach. Everything is there.

You can go outside the perimeter (it’s not far. There are amazing goodies right next to the entrance to the sanatorium cafes and restaurants.

And if this does not suit you, then you are welcome to the nearby sanatorium Yakty-Kul.

From sausage and beer, to chips and seeds.

Near the main entrance, 24-hour guarded parking. Inexpensive.

By the way, I'm in the photo.

If you don’t like beer and came to enjoy it in other ways, then this is provided for you.
Planetarium, laser fight and a dozen more different entertainments for every taste.

Life is also in full swing outside the perimeter, but more on that later.

Since the 16th century, the lake has been called Yakty-Kul, which means “bright lake” in Bashkir. Russians have another name in everyday life - Bannoe. There is an interesting legend associated with it. During the campaign led by Emelyan Pugachev, the rebel army stopped to rest in this place. Before an important battle, Pugachev ordered the soldiers to wash thoroughly with clean lake water. In those ancient times, the process of ablution was called “bathing.” This is where the second name of the lake came from. This is exactly how it is indicated on the maps.

Throughout the Urals the glory of the lake resounds as a wonderful fishing place. Fishing in Yakty-Kul is excellent. In addition to the originally inhabiting fish species, whitefish and stickleback were introduced into the reservoir at the beginning of the last century, and they took root well. All lovers of “silent hunting” note great amount a wide variety of fish in the lake, including very large - more than 2 kg - specimens, and an excellent bite. A strong fish population is one of the indicators of the ecological cleanliness of the area.

Lake Bannoe is rightfully considered one of the best freshwater reservoirs in the Bashkir Trans-Urals and is the deepest among similar lakes present in the territory of Bashkortostan. Geographically, the water body is located in the Abzelilovsky district of the republic - 220 km southeast of Ufa, 12 km from the western border with the neighboring Chelyabinsk region and 30 km northwest of Magnitogorsk.

It is interesting that after the founding of Magnitka, questions were repeatedly raised about the construction of a settlement on the shore of the lake for the resettlement of metallurgical plant workers, as well as about the laying of a railway track between the two points. But the project turned out to be unprofitable, so today Banny can only be reached by road. Instead of a workers' town, recreation centers and sanatoriums appeared here, and ski resorts appeared in the surrounding area. Today, the coast of the reservoir is considered almost a suburb of Magnitogorsk, despite the fact that the territory belongs to a different federal district RF.

Recreation centers

The resort area has developed infrastructure, conducive to comfortable rest. The lake is filled with transparent fresh water. The climate, thanks to the mountain belt, is soft, and the air is environmentally friendly and healing.

Bath Lake is widely used for recreational purposes. It is favorite place recreation not only for residents of Bashkortostan and the neighboring Chelyabinsk region. Guests from different parts of the country come here all year round. Some people prefer to stay in budget houses, others choose more comfortable conditions accommodation in modern buildings.

Sanatorium "Yubileiny" on Banny Lake

For several decades, the health resort of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works has been welcoming holidaymakers in need of medical and health procedures. The history of the sanatorium-preventorium began in 1933 with the construction of a hunting lodge on the shore of a reservoir, intended for recreation of the MMK management staff.

During the Great Patriotic War, barracks were erected on the coast for workers involved in the extraction of manganese ore for production needs. Later, the houses were equipped for recreation for the plant’s employees, in 1966 new buildings and a dining room were erected, and a year later the rest house began to be called “Yubileiny”. On its basis in 1979 a multidisciplinary sanatorium-preventorium was created.

Indications for stay in the institution are diseases:

  • musculoskeletal system;
  • of cardio-vascular system;
  • respiratory organs;
  • skin;
  • nervous system, etc.

Over the years of its existence, Yubileiny has expanded its territory to 35 hectares. Modern multi-storey buildings and cozy cottages appeared here. The medical facilities and infrastructure meet modern requirements. In addition to procedures, resort guests are offered a whole range of additional services, including organizing leisure time and conducting excursion tours.

Sanatorium "Yakty-Kul"

Another famous health resort of Lake Bannoe offers treatment with sapropel mud. They have a beneficial effect on joints and damaged muscles, and have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Resort guests receive exclusively “fresh” mud, which is an undoubted advantage of “Yakty-Kul”.

The sanatorium is proud of its radon department, equipped with a unique laboratory. An energy shower helps improve the functioning of the heart and blood vessels, and accelerate the recovery of muscle and bone tissue.

In summer, tent camps appear on the coast. It gets especially crowded here on weekends. Popular among the “savages”:

  • beach holiday;
  • bathing;
  • boat races;
  • fishing;
  • cooking lunches and dinners over fires;
  • improvised dance floors;
  • singing with a guitar;
  • walks along the surrounding slopes.

IN winter time Most vacationers prefer to stay at recreation centers that welcome guests all year round, or rent guest houses. At this time, you can enjoy skating and skiing on Banny Lake, as well as visit the Metallurg-Magnitogorsk ski resort, which offers a choice of 9 trails of varying difficulty. Lovers active rest can get a dose of adrenaline from November to April. The rest of the time, the complex offers downhill bike rides, karting tracks, 24-hour picnic areas and much more.

Toponym

So unusual name Lake Bannoe is associated with an incident that occurred in 1774 with the army of Emelyan Pugachev. Allegedly, the leader of the rebels gave the order to his comrades to take a “bathhouse” in the reservoir before the next battle. But this version raises great doubts, since at the beginning of May, when the detachment could have been in the Banny area, there was still ice here.

The more ancient toponym “Yakty-kul” is translated from Bashkir as “bright lake”. Another name, Mauzda, implies “monster with a mouth” or “dragon.”

How to get to Banny Lake
