Lego duplo jake's pirate ship

There's no such thing as too much Lego! Therefore, every time I see some interesting set at a discount, I buy it. This happened with the LEGO Duplo set 10604 Treasure Island (Jake and the Pirate Island). My son has not watched the cartoon to which the set is dedicated, but this is not so important. It has a lot of interesting details that are suitable for different games, not just pirates.

The set is packaged in a colorful cardboard box, on which various options for assembling the construction set are drawn. Inside the box were two bags of parts, several large parts separately, and instructions (step-by-step and very detailed).

The set consists of 25 parts. All are drawn on the box. This is very convenient, then it is easy to collect parts of only this set in a box and not confuse them with others.

We already have more than a dozen Lego Duplo sets, but such details as palm leaves, a chest, a sword and blue sector plates symbolizing the sea were encountered for the first time.

But since the pirate theme is not yet very close to the child, my son and I decided to assemble a children’s playground from the existing elements, because it has everything you need to create a slide and a carousel.

The set includes two figures of cartoon characters. When I bought the set, I thought that they were both boys, but I was a little embarrassed that one of the pirates was wearing a pink T-shirt. But after reading on the Internet about the cartoon characters, I found out that this is not a boy, but a girl, Izzy. My son had no doubts about this, because the back of the Izzy figurine has two pigtails.

Like other Lego Duplo figures, Jake and Ozzy have movable arms and heads that rotate (their headdresses are not removable). The figures can be placed and planted, and in both positions they are attached to the cubes. You can hold various objects in your hands, in this set it is a sword.

Now I’ll tell you in more detail about some interesting details:

My son and I really liked the palm tree. Its trunk is assembled from standard cubes and a cylinder (we have already seen such cylindrical parts in the Fun Game Set 10580), and five leaves are combined into one large part.

By the way, you can sit someone on top of the palm tree.

Now our African animals from the 4962 Zoo for Kids set have somewhere to hide in the shade.

Previously, only forest animals from set 10583 Fishing in the forest had their own tree.

Another very interesting and useful part is a rotating one. Very necessary thing!

In this set, you can use it to turn the slide or folding bridge. And if you add parts from other kits, you can build a real crane with a rotating boom or make a trailer for a car. We've already come across this part in the kit before.

I bought a Lego Duplo set "Jake's Pirate Ship" for my three-year-old child for his birthday. The set is themed, corresponding to the cartoon "Jake and the Never Land Pirates", which is shown on the Disney Channel.

Like all Lego Duplo sets, this set is very well made.

The set includes 56 parts. In the picture below you can see what these parts are.

In the set Big ship with a mast and sail that a child can play with even in the bathroom. A cannon is attached to the ship, which shoots for real (two chargers included)

Also included is a figurine of Jake and Captain Hook, a treasure chest and a square with a painted Kabi parrot, and a steering wheel (which rotates).

My little one enjoys the set immensely.

The only pity is that the price is steep. I bought it at a discount on Ozone for about 2500, but the starting price and the price in other stores are 3000-3200 rubles. But the set is big, it's worth it.

The figures are durable, bright, beautiful.
