There is a ice trail in this region, which means you can start skiing in the fall and finish skiing in late spring.
La Plagne is quieter than Les Arcs, less nightlife, and a rather unclear location of the hotels. But the skiing is calmer and the pistes are also very wide.

Portes du Soleil, France

This is a whole collection of 13 resorts that are connected into a single ski area. The region is close to the Franco-Swiss border and just an hour's drive from Geneva. The main resorts are Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. Skiing between villages, you enjoy a ski safari and in one of the Swiss villages of Morgins you can taste world-class chocolate along with your morning tea! Along the ski route there are a huge number of high-quality mountain holiday huts with restaurants and panoramic views of the Alps, Lake Geneva and Geneva.

From her, as from ring line metro, you can start along radii to nearby resorts. The coziest, most fabulous and most popular is Selva. Located in Sella Ronda, it is well accessible and a convenient starting point in the region. Cortina Dampezzo is very popular, but it is conditionally associated with Sella Ronda and is not connected with any other resorts.
Of course, the main thing about the Dolomites is their beauty. Nothing compares to…. And so on. We like to ride clockwise in Sella Ronda because there are at least some black slopes, and you can go in the opposite direction just to admire the nature and enjoy the company.

Chamonix, France
