For the last ten years, my work in Moscow has been in one way or another connected with advertising: I managed to work as both a customer and a contractor. To travel to the city, you can order a taxi (800 rubles round trip). Meat and dairy products on the city market are local and Belarusian, therefore high-quality and inexpensive.

Wolves and bears are not found in the surrounding area in the summer.

There are two hundred meters from your house to your walkways. Small fish (bream up to 300 g) can be caught using fish soup and a frying pan directly from the bridge. Well, large pike or bream are available only to persistent fishermen with a boat. Although I still broke two fishing rods on the bridge) The lake is usually deserted. On the opposite bank is a village where you can buy fresh milk.

When you live in Moscow and there is no good year-round dacha, the question periodically arises of where to get out into nature for the weekend, but in comfort. We’re leaving out the tent option now, we’re not talking about it, it’s a completely different format of recreation.

So, this summer I was looking at various Airbnb houses for a weekend getaway. I have already written about one of these houses, located near Kolomna. It is also in this collection, with an unusual design inside. We really enjoyed driving like that back then. Maybe someday we’ll start our own dacha, but for now it’s cheaper and easier than building and maintaining a house where we’ll be there a couple of times a year.

How to rent a house

Honestly, I haven't found any others convenient options to rent a house, if we are talking about a short period. It is clear that if you rent for the whole summer or even for six months/year, then it is easier to search on Avito/Tsian and then go around them, look on the spot and negotiate. But if you want to book a cottage without leaving your home with a minimum of time investment, then it’s more difficult. An ordinary hotel can be easily found through Booking; there will be plenty of options. There, of course, there are also interesting houses or apartments, but still this is a hotel service.

So, you can try searching for houses on Airbnb. Previously, there were few options for Russia, but every year there is more and more choice, now there is actually plenty to choose from, and in a couple of years the selection will need to be supplemented in any way. True, some people charge incomprehensibly inhumane price tags for no apparent reason (look at the price of a hut), but this is a question for specific owners. But in any case there is budget options, price/quality combination.

We have already lived in one house, and I hope we will live in another when we want nature. Now I know where you can go with a group, in such housing, if you divide the price (especially on weekdays) for everyone, then it’s all nonsense.

North
