    Odintsovo

IN Odintsovo district Moscow region, in the heart scenic spots With the rich dacha history of Nikolina Gora, in the village of Aksinino, the Gorka heliport is located - the largest helicopter center in the Moscow region and the only helicopter house that has received the status of a heliport. Developed infrastructure and the extensive plans for the development of the main character of this short post attracted my attention and forced me to spend an unforgettable few hours on his territory.

The Gorka heliport is part of the program for the development of transport infrastructure in the Moscow region and the Transport Strategy project Russian Federation until 2030. It is an extensive complex for the reception and maintenance of helicopters from the world's leading manufacturers - Robinson, Bell Helicopter, Airbus Helicopter, AgustaWestland. Built and welcoming its first guest in November 2014, although not to please capricious neighbors from nearby elite towns and villages, the Gorka heliport has rightfully gained great popularity among Moscow helicopter owners and is a first-class heliport.

Pine forests, slender ship trunks reaching into the sky, hills on the banks of the Moscow River and small villages, with their modest houses-palaces-fences, which turned the Ilyinskoye Highway into a mysterious and cramped labyrinth. All this usual diversity of the Rublevo-Uspensky direction is left behind and the first thing that catches your eye when approaching the village of Aksinino is multi-colored flags on high flagpoles and an extensive parking lot in front of the intricately shaped terminal, crowned with a mysterious statue of a cow and designed for 100 cars at a time. Welcome to the Gorka heliport!

On the high-quality concreted territory of the heliport there are three landing sites equipped with lighting equipment and an apron with a total area of 5000 sq.m., designed for parking 11 aircraft various modifications with a maximum take-off weight of up to 13 tons.

A little further away, beyond the edge of the airfield, there is a fuel and lubricants room, in the garage of which two FTW-24 airfield tankers and two MUZ-920 mobile refueling units are nestled. Aviation fuel TS-1 and 100LL is always available here!

It is worth mentioning that the Gorka heliport is one of the few heliports that have the so-called “night start” - the latest lighting equipment in accordance with all safety standards for round-the-clock flights.

A nine-section hangar, well heated in winter and well ventilated in summer, with total area 3100 sq.m., designed for simultaneous parking, for example, 35 Robinson R-44 helicopters, and one of the parts of the repair room, due to its non-standard ceiling height for this place, allows servicing and storing Mi-8 class helicopters.

Also on the territory of the hangars there is a warehouse for spare parts and consumables, premises for aviation engineering services,

    metalworking shop,

administrative part with offices and parking for cleaning equipment.

I would especially like to note the care with which the administration of the Gorka heliport treats not only its numerous clients and their rotorcraft, but also its own staff. On the premises of the first and second floors of the hangar you can easily find a compact wardrobe,

shower, laundry, two rest rooms for technical staff and crews,

as well as a cozy and full-fledged dining room, food delivery to which is carried out by a special service.

Also in the dining room there is very tasty coffee, both boiled and instant... You sit with a cup of Danessi and watch TV - a trifle, but nice!

The calm, warm and well-coordinated business atmosphere at the heliport was transferred to me, and I leisurely wandered through the formation of multi-colored shiny iron birds under the powerful arches of the hangars...

Everything here was created for people and people respond in kind - seemingly slowly, but the processes of repair and maintenance of helicopters continued until dark. Looking from the outside at the purposeful passion of the engineers and technicians, I was sure that all the work would be completed on time!

The calling card of the Gorka heliport is the new terminal under construction and the administrative building rolled into one. This intricate five-story design will measure approximately 1,500 sqm and include an expansive waiting area,

a cafe and restaurant for 70 visitors, a hotel consisting of 10 comfortable double rooms,

aviation store, administrative offices and control tower.

The premises of the new building will be designed in warm colors and decorated with granite and marble, and the crown of the waiting room is planned to be a luxurious ten-meter glass chandelier, currently falling from the ceiling in the form of a cardboard model.

A luxurious sauna is also planned in the underground room of the building, which can be accessed from the second floor by a special elevator. After the steam room there are water procedures and for these cases, at the foot of the terminal there is a small non-freezing artificial lake. By the way, this reservoir also has a second purpose - clouds of mirror carp and two specially equipped houses on the shore will provide its visitors with exciting fishing and a spiritual pastime.

Opening this paradise to countryside holiday is planned for the summer of 2017 and in a hurry to meet the deadline for the commissioning of the facility, work on the interior decoration of the premises continues even in the dark!

Winter days are treacherously short. The driving lights of the landing pads lit up brightly with green lamps, the frost grew stronger in the evening - it was time to leave the cozy embrace of the Gorka heliport...

Safe flights and new achievements, friends! I hope to return to see you next summer!

When a deal is “on fire” and the delay is “like death,” thoughts of a helicopter come to mind. Helicopter taxis deliver passengers over distances of up to 1,300 km. at speeds up to 310 km/h. You can fly from Odintsovo to Zvenigorod in a couple of minutes. To Vnukovo airport - even faster. Flight time depends on the helicopter model.

The cost of the flight depends on the helicopter model. The price of a flight hour on a Robinson R44 helicopter starts from 25 thousand rubles. For this price, 3 people can fly, not counting the pilot. A flight hour on an Augusta AW139 helicopter costs RUB 220,000. It can fly 7 people and a pilot.

Some air carriers set a minimum rental period for a helicopter taxi, for example, 1 hour. Others offer to pay for the flight by the minute. Prices per minute of flight in the Moscow region start from 1,000 rubles.

The price of the flight will be lower if you board the helicopter at the base, and the base will be located as close as possible to the final point of the flight.

So a flight from the Barvikha heliport in Odintsovo to the heliport in Vnukovo will cost from 10 to 15 thousand rubles. Flight from Odintsovo to Golitsyno – 30 thousand rubles.

The cost of the flight may include dispatch services, delivery and return departure of the helicopter to the heliport. The cost is affected by the location of the heliport, weather, wind speed and luggage.

A helicopter excursion is a set of flight-related services already developed by the air carrier. Therefore, for a helicopter excursion they ask for less money than for an air taxi service.

An excursion flight to Sergiev Posad from Odintsovo and back on the same helicopter will last an hour and you need to pay 42,000 rubles for it. Sightseeing tour in Moscow with departure and return to Odintsovo will cost 31,500 rubles. and will take 45 minutes. From Odintsovo to the New Jerusalem Monastery and back – half an hour for 21,000 rubles.

How much does it cost to own a helicopter?

The easiest helicopters to pilot are the Robinson R44 and R66. For the R44 model they ask for $600 thousand, R66 - from $1.3 million. For the annual maintenance and operation of the R44 you will have to pay about $200 thousand, and the R66 - $400 thousand.

Market of foreign helicopters in Russia

At that time, 121 ships were imported to Russia. In 2015, imports decreased threefold. At the end of August 2016, 599 foreign helicopters were registered in Russia, of which 264 were piston helicopters, which, as a rule, fly in the interests of private pilots.
