How to find the slide in Izmailovsky Park. Attractions in Izmailovo Park. Quickly and easily choose a place, get a discount, find a company

Every winter, ice and snow slides appear in Moscow where you can go sledding and tubing. 2019 was no exception to the rule, when every year there are only more places for sledding and cheesecake riding. However, the traditional ski areas remain the same.

Where to go tubing in Moscow

Ice and snow slides in Moscow can be divided into three types:

  • Slides where there are no restrictions and you can ride anything: on a sled, on an ice rink, or just on your feet or on your butt - all this is completely free.
  • Slides where you can only use tubing. If you have your own cheesecake and don’t need to rent it, which is located right on the hill, skating becomes completely free.
  • Slides where there is no free ride in principle and, as a rule, the use of your own equipment is not allowed.

On paid slides, payment is hourly or for each descent. The prices may not always please you, but if the slide is equipped with a lift, the ride becomes very comfortable.

Snow and ice slides in Moscow parks on the map

How to choose tubing for skating

The most significant characteristic of the tube is its outer diameter in the state when the cheesecake is already filled with air.

Dependence of the cheesecake diameter on the height of the skater:

  • Child height up to 110 cm - tubing diameter 65 - 85 cm
  • Height up to 140 cm – tube diameter 90 – 95 cm
  • Height up to 175 cm, tubing 100 - 110 cm is suitable
  • For people taller than 175 cm, you can use tubing with a diameter of 120 - 125 cm

Of course, these recommendations are quite conditional. If you are planning to ride together with a child, it is better to choose a slightly larger tube, with a diameter of at least 120 cm. The main thing is that you can hold it comfortably without flying out of the tube while skating. For this reason, you should not buy a very large tube. small child for growth. For overweight people, it is better to choose a cheesecake with a larger diameter.

P.S. Prices and terms of service for slides are provided as a guide only and are subject to change. The list of places for skiing down the mountains in Moscow and the near Moscow region on cheesecakes and sleds is not complete.

Downhill skiing is one of the most beloved and democratic winter activities, which does not require any special training or sophisticated equipment. You can ride on sleds, ice skates, snow scooters, tubes and even on cardboards. But the operation of ice slides directly depends on weather conditions.

In general, there are several types of winter slides: wild but very picturesque, unequipped natural slopes and artificial slides. To ride most of them, you just need to buy an entrance ticket to the ice town. But there are also ice slides of a special design, where a fee is charged for each descent.

A separate type of slides are publicly accessible tubing tracks in city parks with “cheesecake” rentals. Practiced here hourly payment. Also, special slopes are being prepared for the winter season in ski centers. They are distinguished by high quality, the ability to rent equipment, the presence of lifts and not the most affordable prices.

In addition, in almost every area there are places that can be used as slides. However, not all of them are different good quality coatings and do not always meet safety requirements.

This winter, everyone can ride 38 snow and ice slides in 25 recreation areas. Of these, two are all-weather slides: “Vsepogorka”, 200 meters long in the Sokolniki park and a slide in the 50th Anniversary of October Park. In 16 parks, sledding, tubing and ice-skating will be free.

This season, to the right of the arch of the Main Entrance to VDNH, a seven-meter tubing slide “North” was built in Northern Square. It has 5 slopes, the length of the slope with rollout is about 80 m.

A platform for active family vacation will give visitors of all ages the thrill of riding cheesecakes. Children under 110cm tall must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 3 years old are not allowed on the slide. The tubes are lifted using a rope tow lift. There is a cafe and a first aid station nearby.

One of the oldest slides in Moscow is located in the park of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. Back in the 19th century, Muscovites loved to ride there. To prepare the slide, a snow cushion was poured on the slope and then compacted. Snow sides were also made for safe descent.

In this article we did not talk about all the capital's roller coasters. In addition, it should be remembered that the weather in the capital is very changeable. Therefore, before going to any hill, you should look out the window in advance to make sure that there is a good snow cover on the ground.

Let's hope that this winter the weather will allow downhill skiers to have plenty of fun and get into a great mood. But be sure to remember safety. After all, the organizers of such entertainment warn: “Using tubing is your own risk!”
