During the construction of Ferrari World, all cutting-edge technologies were used, in particular the design of the roof or the pillars and walls of the building that support the mighty roof.

UAE, a look at production from the inside

The history of the park began in 2005, when Ferrari and Aldar Properties decided to build the world's largest themed Ferrari World.

Originally scheduled to open in 2008, construction delays forced the opening to be delayed another two years.

The symbol of the Ferrari World is its red roof, which was designed by masters from the Benoy company, based on the silhouette of the Ferrari GT.

The perimeter of the roof is 2200 meters, its area is 200,000 square meters.

The Ferrari logo on the roof of the building measures 65 meters long and 48.5 meters wide.

The building itself was designed by Ramboll, which during construction managed to successfully combine the latest architectural developments, geology, design and other other aspects.

It took 12,370 tons of steel to support the roof.

In the center there is a glass funnel, which is a unique decoration and highlight of this architectural creation.

Opening hours and prices of the Ferrari World park

The United Arab Emirates absolutely loves to surprise its visitors, and Ferrari World is no exception.

In particular, one of the interesting points is the cost of entry to the park, which is not divided into the usual categories: adults and children.

There are two price categories here:

  • height up to 150 centimeters;
  • taller than 150 centimeters;
  • height below 100 centimeters. This category of visitors has the right to free entry to Ferrari World.

This gradation of prices is explained by the fact that local attractions can be for tall and short (small and large).

Tickets can also be regular or “first class” tickets.

Regular tickets

This type of ticket assumes a regular excursion, during which visitors have the opportunity to review the sites and territory of the complex.

For tourists height up to 150 centimeters such a ticket will cost 165 dirhams (approximately $45).

For tourists over 150 centimeters tall the entrance fee will be 225 dirhams (about 62 dollars).

First class tickets

This type of ticket includes services personal guide, so that everyone has the opportunity to have the most comfortable stay, who will help you navigate the park, tell you where it’s best to relax and offer visits to certain attractions.

Hi all! The other day my husband and I returned from a trip to the UAE, and now I want to tell our funny and, to some extent, cautionary story about visiting the Ferrari world park.

Ferrari World is a Ferrari theme park. It is located under a roof with an area of 200 thousand square meters. m and is the world's largest indoor theme park.

The park is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and includes extreme slides, attractions for children, quiz shows and a Ferrari museum.

Prices! How to save money?

While still at home, getting ready for our trip, we immediately decided that we would go to the Ferrari Park. Moreover, we purchased the book Book Dubai, which offers a 50% discount on visiting this park. That's a network instead of 590 dirhams for two we paid 295 dirhams for two ( that is, 2360 rubles per person) by purchasing bronze tickets.

At all prices to visit the park are as follows:

Bronze ticket– 295 dirhams.

Silver ticket– 370 dirhams (includes an additional 20 dirham coupon for the purchase of souvenirs and a fast access pass to skip-the-line attractions (3 uses)).

Golden ticket– AED 535 (includes an additional AED 30 coupon for souvenirs and an unlimited skip-the-line attraction pass).

You can also buy a ticket to visit 2 parks (Ferrari + Water park). Moreover, by purchasing tickets through the website in advance, you can save 10-15% of the cost.

Entry tickets to the park look like this:

They apply to absolutely all attractions except go-karting, driving a real Ferrari and simulating racing.

When best time to visit the park?

The park is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm. I advise you to go to the park on any day except Friday and Saturday, since there are many locals in the park on these days. If you arrive at the park when it opens, you can ride most of the rides without waiting in line.

How to get to Ferrari Park from Dubai?

1. Take the metro to Ibn Batuta station (about 30 minutes from Burj Khalifa station). Cost 7.5 dirhams.

2. Transfer to bus E101 (it says Abu Dhabi) and drive 1 hour to the Shahama stop. In our case, the driver himself announced a stop, but it’s better to mark it on your map on your phone and ask the driver to stop when you arrive. The bus fare is 25 dirhams. The fare is paid using the same transport card as the metro, they don’t take cash!

3. They are already standing at the station and waiting for a taxi. We sit in one of them and say that we don’t care about Ferrari World. All taxis there operate on a meter, the ride takes 7-10 minutes, the cost will be about 40 dirhams.

We go back a little differently:

1. We leave Ferrari World, go straight through the Abu Dhabi Mall shopping center, turn right. You should find the Tryano department. This is important because it is from this department that there is access to the bus stop.

2. We go to the Tryano department, go down the escalator, exit the shopping center, and go right and then left, you will notice a bus stop with people standing at it.

3. We are waiting for the bus that goes to the Abu-Dabi Main bus station. In our case, the E180 bus arrived first, and we saw the destination inscription on it. To pay for this bus, you need an Abu Dubi Transport Card. We didn’t have it, the driver refused to take cash, saying that we would sort it out when we arrived at the station. In the end, we rode for free. We still didn’t understand where and with whom to deal, and after an hour on the bus through traffic jams and already dark streets, we had no time to search. In general, the fare is 2 dirhams.

4. We go into the station building, there will be a sign “Dubai”, we go out onto the platform and get on the bus going to Ibn Batuta. We also pay 25 dirhams.

5. In Dubai we get to the hotel by metro.

Fare. Is there a benefit?

In total, for all transportation costs for two, we ended up with 155 dirhams, that is, approximately 2,480 rubles. Taxi one way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi costs about the same. If you take an excursion from a tour operator or in a hotel/on the street, it will cost about 8 thousand rubles per person, but for everything (visiting the park and transport) we paid 7,200 rubles for two. The benefits are obvious!

When all the nuances are taken into account, I’ll move on to the story about the park itself.

When you buy a ticket, you are given a map of the park, which shows all the extreme rides, slides for children, shops, and food courts. toilets, etc.

I advise you to understand in advance which attractions you will go on so as not to waste time in the park. My review will be useful mainly for young people who travel without children or with children over 10-12 years old.

Formula Rossa

Naturally, the first thing we did was go to the coolest attraction in the Formula Rossa park. This attraction is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest in the world, its speed is 240 km/h.

Fasten your seat belts, put on your racing goggles and get ready to hit 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds on the world's fastest roller coaster. Soaring to a height of 52 meters with an acceleration of 4.8 G and receiving a powerful adrenaline rush, you will cross the finish line feeling like a real Formula 1 champion from the Scuderia Ferrari team.

We rode it twice in the morning while there were no queues. In the middle of the day the queue for this attraction is about 40 minutes.

How does the attraction work? Before boarding the ride, you are given clear goggles so you can open your eyes at speed. You also need to hand over your phones, keys and small items to the locker (the locker is right in the queue for the attraction). They even have a "board of shame" or something on the wall that shows real broken phones, watches, bent jewelry.

Next, you sit down in the “race car” seat. It accelerates sharply in 4.9 seconds to maximum speed on a straight line, then slows down a little and then begins to ride like a roller coaster.

Advice : sit forward, then the sensations will be sharper! If you have long hair, it is better to braid it. I had a ponytail and after the first ride my hair got so tangled that it took me about 5 minutes to untangle it.

Feel : incredible adrenaline, cheeks swelling, pressing into the seat. After the ride you will be a little wobbly for the first 10 minutes.

Flying aces

Next we went on another attraction that broke 3 world records: the highest loop in the world (about the size of a 17-story building), the fastest hill climb (120 km/h) and the steepest hill climb (51 degrees) .

Roller coaster " Air Aces", inspired by the exploits of the "ace of aces" - the legendary Italian pilot of the early twentieth century, Count Francesco Barraca, will provide thrill-seekers with many exciting moments. Climb aboard your World War I military aircraft and get ready to fly a loop from an altitude of 63 meters at an angle of 51 degrees. It should be noted that this is an impressive sight! Feel your heart beating wildly when you are flying at a speed of 120 km/h.

How does the attraction work? You board the plane, the roller shutters open in front of you and you see that the roller coaster track is going up sharply. And not slowly, but at a decent speed. Then the descents, flips, side bends, twists, slides, jumps, etc. begin.

It looks like this:

Feel: Essentially, the slide should simulate flying on a biplane and you should feel what real aces feel. The slide itself is very long, 1.5 km. And in the middle of the journey I wanted it to end as soon as possible! We rode it 3 times, and now I understand that I don’t want to be an ace!

Advice: Also, hide your long hair in a braid, leave all valuables that could fly out on the slide in the storage room. If you want a sharper sensation, sit on the side seats, if you are afraid, sit on the middle ones. If you want to experience incredible adrenaline, sit in the side seats on the first plane!

Turbo Track

You see this slide as soon as you enter the park.

The impressive roller coaster rides are not limited to the park's indoor area. One swift dash - and you're over the legendary red roof!

How does the attraction work? You get into the trolley and they strap you in. It accelerates sharply and rises up to the very end of the rail, which breaks off, then you drive back down in the same way. The entire ride lasts about 8 seconds.

Feel :did not like. There was no adrenaline rush at all, although we were sitting in the first places. I didn't even scream. Although the squeals came from behind. We rode once and forgot about this attraction.

Advice: It’s better to go there at the beginning of the day, as there are about 16 seats in the trolley, which causes more queues to accumulate during the day.

Fiorano GT Challenge

This slide is a competition.

Experience the thrill of the race as you and your friends race through the twisting parallel tracks of the GT Race Fiorano in a Ferrari F430 Spider. This attraction is a scaled-down version of a real GT racing circuit, so be prepared for some rotation sharp turns and arrow-straight sections where you can reach speeds of up to 95 km/h. Will you be able to outrun your opponents and cross the finish line first? Just like in a real race, there can only be one winner.

How does the attraction work? You board a trolley and move forward and upward on a typical roller coaster. The only difference is that there is no dead loops, and also another row of trolleys is driving next to you on the adjacent track, and it seems that you are competing with them.

Feel: It’s fun, once was enough for us, it’s not scary.

This is where the extreme rides ended. Now another one with 2 dead loops is being built in the park, but it is unknown when it will be built.

Speed of Magic

Regular 4D attraction. It shakes you, twists you. You don’t even have to hold on; it’s impossible to fly out.

Embark on a magical 4D adventure through a fantasy land with Nello, a reckless Ferrari driver. He's going on an exciting journey to places no Ferrari has gone before, and he invites you to join him. Agree - you will have something to remember! Together with Nello, you will descend into the depths of the ocean, take a risky flight over sheer cliffs and visit mysterious ice caves. High-tech simulators reproduce movement, changes in temperature, humidity, light and shadows, creating the effect of complete presence.

Made in Maranello

A virtual excursion to the Ferrari plant, here you will be told about all stages of production. Interesting and educational.

All its stages will pass before your eyes, from the creation of the first sketches of the new model and the production of engine components, and ending with the painting of the body, manual assembly and testing on Ferrari's own ring race track - Fiorano.

Italian journey (Viaggio in Italy)

Traveling around Italy from a bird's eye view. You might get a little wet here!

Sit back, take yourself under the roof of this multi-sensory simulator and get ready for a breathtaking flight over Italy. The flight will follow the route of the famous Mille Miglia ("Thousand Miles") multi-day endurance race, in which GT cars took part. Mountains, picturesque villages, cities and vineyards of one of the most beautiful countries, which gave the world one of the most beautiful cars.

Bell'Italia attraction

This is a regular slow track with Ferrari cars. Here you can steer, or you don’t have to, the car drives itself. Along the way you will see all the sights of Italy. Suitable for the youngest visitors. I do not advise adults to waste time on this attraction.

Fast Lane

Quiz on knowledge of the history of Ferrari. In fact, ordinary English listening: they show you a video, and then ask you questions, you must click on the button with the correct answer. The buttons are located on the chair. Based on the results of each round, 4 winners are selected for the semi-finals, and the finalist receives a prize - a coupon to the Water Park.

Tire Change Show

Here you can try changing the wheels on a racing car for a while. You will compete with another team. It looks funny.

We didn’t go to the other attractions, as they were quite childish. Although there is also a ride in a real Ferrari for 695 dirhams, a go-kart for 65 dirhams and an imitation of bolide racing for 95 dirhams. So if you want, have some money ready.

Svetlana Parfenova

If you are a fan of speed and thrills, then you should definitely visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. This place will remain in the memory for a long time, because it is the first theme park in the world dedicated to the legendary Italian brand Ferrari.

He is on artificial island Yas in Abu Dhabi, which in itself is a reason to visit, plus this incredible complex covers an area of 200,000 square meters, and its enormous size puts Ferrari World at the top of the world's podium among indoor parks.

As is known, in the United United Arab Emirates they like everything to be specially chic. Here are the tallest buildings in the world, the most expensive cars, the most grandiose fountains. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, as the world's largest indoor park, is not limited to the first place in terms of its size, it is also home to the fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, which has a maximum speed of 240 km/h and is reached in less than 5 seconds ( impressive, isn't it?). The length of the track is 2.2 km, and the shape of the attraction resembles the legendary Italian race track in the city of Monza.

By the way, the Ferrari logo crowning the roof of the building measures 65x48.5 meters and is the largest company logo ever created. The unusual design of the Ferrari World roof was developed by Benoy architects, who were inspired by the double curve of the side profile of the Ferrari GT. 12,370 tons of steel were used to support the roof, at the center of which is a 100-meter glass funnel. All other work on the construction, planning and design of the building's façade was carried out under the strict guidance of Ramboll. The construction of the building lasted two years, from November 2008 to November 2010. The grand official opening of Ferrari World took place on November 4, 2010 and since then the park has been accessible year-round.

The location of the theme park was chosen so that it is convenient for both residents and guests of the UAE to get here. It is located a 30-minute drive from the city of Abu Dhabi, and you can get to Ferrari World by bus number 109. And the road from international airport It only takes 10 minutes by car. The park's opening hours are from 11:00 to 20:00, and the most popular days to visit are from Friday to Sunday, which is worth considering when planning your trip. Tickets to the park are divided into three categories and are best purchased in advance on the official website: http://www.ferrariworldabudhabi.com

Category 1 - bronze, provides unlimited access to attractions for the whole day. Price: adult ticket - 250 dirhams (about 5,000 rubles), children's ticket (those whose height does not exceed 1m 30 cm) - 205 dirhams (4,000 rubles). The price includes 5 dirhams for the purchase of souvenirs.
Category 2 - Silver, also provides access for the whole day, plus you can go through the fast track line to the attractions three times. Price: adult ticket - 350 dirhams (6900 rubles) and children's ticket - 305 dirhams (6000 rubles). The price includes the purchase of a souvenir for 10 dirhams.
Category 3 - gold. For 500 dirhams (9,800 rubles) you get unlimited access to all attractions, as well as an unlimited number of fast-track passes and accommodation in more comfortable seats. This ticket includes 15 dirhams towards the purchase of souvenirs.

For children under 3 years of age, entry to the park is free. While there may not be lines at the entrance, there likely will be lines for the rides. So if you're pressed for time, it may be worth paying more for a "fast track" pass. Each visitor receives a unique map, which shows the map of the park and a list of “attractions”.

We exaggerate when we write “attractions.” No, no, of course, here you will find American races and spaceshot (“free fall”), which will take you to dizzying heights 62 meters from the ground, and then sharply “fly” down, but most of the park consists of exhibition stands depicting, for example, the Formula 1 paddock

or a gallery of parts and machines,

a virtual tour of the Ferrari Maranello plant, giving guests an insight into the design, assembly and testing of the Ferrari GT, a mini-cinema, etc.

There are also racing simulators, a children's soft play area with miniature radio-controlled Ferraris, a 4D cinema or a ride along an artificial water channel inside the engine of a Ferrari 599. There are a total of 20 so-called “attractions” throughout the park.

Scuderia Challenge is a racing simulator. You will be able to feel like a Formula 1 pilot, get into a racing car and take part in a race on the Yas Marina virtual circuit alone or with a group. Similar to the simulators used by Scuderia Ferrari drivers in training, this simulator completely immerses you in the race conditions.

Speed of Magic - 4D representation of the adventures of the boy racer Nello, with whom you can fly along the cliffs, find yourself in the heart of the jungle, take risks in ice caves and even at the bottom of the ocean. The experience of extreme temperatures, moisture, light and movement creates an experience similar to a fantasy adventure. Thus, you will be able to experience the “magic” of Ferrari and immerse yourself in an imaginary world with the whole family.

Driving with Champions is an interactive show that makes a Ferrari driver's dream test come true. Together with the driver, you will be able to experience step by step the path from GT racing to Formula 1. Navigate the high-speed corners of the Fiorano circuit and the streets around Maranello. It's not every day you get to ride with a racing legend.

Bell'Italia is an exhibition stand showcasing famous areas of Italy, buildings and racing venues. You can choose a Ferrari 250 California Spyder to drive around the attraction or stroll along the 570-meter track.

There are also presentation cars throughout the park. different models Ferrari.

In addition to the “attractions” themselves, there are shows in the Ferrari World park. Some will take you far into the past, to the 1920s, and show you the way to the dream of the creator of the brand, Enzo Ferrari himself, while others will allow you to plunge headlong into the world of Ferrari. Or, for example, a comedy show will show how funny the process of changing tires at a pit stop can be.

When you find yourself at Ferrari World for the first time, you will not be able to stop yourself from opening your mouth in amazement. Each car attracts you, literally saying to you, “Take a photo with me!”

But there is also a huge store with paraphernalia and souvenirs, where they can make personal souvenirs just for you and, of course, it takes time to get your bearings and figure out what sequence and where to go, so the main thing is not to forget to look at your watch. You definitely won’t be bored, and when you get hungry, you can stop by one of the several restaurants presented here, Italian, of course. The food, of course, differs from what is directly presented in Italy itself, but the general flavor is maintained. If you are faced with the choice of whether to go to Ferrari World, don’t even hesitate: you need to visit this park, and most importantly - fully, without haste.

The Ferrari World indoor theme park is an attraction that invariably attracts tourists to the UAE, namely to its capital, the emirate called Abu Dhabi. There, on the artificially created island of Yas Island, the Ferrari World park, known to temperamental car enthusiasts and simply those who like to tickle their nerves while watching crazy sports car races, is located. This sight is simply breathtaking. Believe me, you have never seen anything like this before! The scale and shape of the structure amazes the imagination, which, however, is typical for the Emirates living in grand style.

A little information

Ferrari World opened on October 27, 2010. It has a very convenient location: just half an hour drive from the center of Abu Dhabi, 50 minutes from Dubai Marina. The park can be reached fairly quickly from three airports: 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi, 1.5 hours from Dubai airport, 2 hours from Sharjah.

The Ferrari theme park is the world's largest indoor park, covering more than 86 thousand square meters, which can be compared to approximately seven football fields. The height of the complex is 45 meters, and on its roof is the largest Ferrari brand logo.

Amazing rides at Ferrari World
