This was our first trip to the United Arab Emirates, so we were excited to get to know this country. Luxury liner Emirates Airlines Delivered to Dubai in 4.5 hours. And the adventure began. We got lost at the airport. Joined the stream that followed connecting flights. By the way, we even managed to pass registration and inspection. Thank God, there were 2 other families like us, so we stuck together and received our luggage about 30 minutes late. There was one plus: we went through customs control without queues. A crossover was waiting for us from the hotel, which took us to the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Since we arrived early (around 09.00 local time), we had to wait for check-in. We were languishing in the heat, from which there was no escape. I didn’t want to go to the beach right away, because I had to get myself intoorder and change clothes. You won’t be unpacking your suitcases in the middle of the reception area... The voucher included checking into a villa in a room on the 1st floor. Check-in started at 15.00, but we were given a room (for which we are very grateful to the reception staff) at 12.00. Apparently, oriental hospitality and our exhausted appearance (you can’t really sleep on a plane due to a number of reasons hidden in the noisy company and the abundance of small children in the neighborhood) coincided so much that we were given a room in a villa overlooking not the pool, but the Persian Gulf. I haven’t seen such beautiful sunsets for a long time! Large room, daily cleaning, comfortable beds and automatic air conditioning that maintains a comfortable temperature in the room for us are beyond praise. In our hotel, the maids are mostly men. We left a small tip for ours, so every evening after the beach we had entire zoos on our bed, created from towels: either a dog, or an elephant with a baby elephant, or elephants with their trunks connected into a heart... In general, we are not greedy with tips, that’s why We consider the service towards us to be gratitude for the attention to the hotel staff. Electric cars were always at our service, although we preferred to walk more. Very polite and attentive staff! I believe that their work deserves attention from vacationers. On the balcony area of the first floor there were two armchairs, a table and a Lounge (a soft bed with an abundance of cushions). In the heat of the day it was very pleasant to relax in the shade. Individual sunbeds with unlimited change of towels. An incredible beach with small crabs and a gorgeous, clean and very warm sea (the water warmed up so much during the day that it didn’t feel cool). High waves there was none, but there was only one inconvenience: one day, dead jellyfish washed ashore en masse throughout the day. True, they were removed immediately, but I didn’t really want to swim. We spent the whole day in the adult pool, which is more than 1.5 meters deep. I was pleased that the hotel had swimming pools for children and adults. It's very comfortable. We stayed for 7 nights on an all-inclusive basis. Here it is of two types: with free A la Carte restaurants (gold bracelets) and with paid ones (silver bracelets). We had a silver one so included discounts on A la Carte restaurants, unlimited water and limited selection alcoholic drinks, including cocktails. Breakfast for those staying in the villas is at the Al Maeda restaurant. There are practically no fundamental differences in terms of assortment from the main Maarid restaurant. And if you don’t sleep until 10 am, then there are no queues. I was a little taken aback on the first day by the presence of a queue at the main restaurant. As tables become available, so does the queue. The very smart and efficient staff tries to make eating comfortable. We are still delighted with the amazing taste of meat dishes (especially lamb) and fish. The selection of fruits and vegetables was somewhat limited. We recommend Pura Vida Restaurant for all meat lovers. Say what you will, but the rack of lamb was one of the best we've tried. I’ll share a pleasant memory of evening hookahs on the open balcony, where those who liked to smoke a cigarette, drink a cocktail and play dice (mostly Germans and Americans) hung out. But not every bartender knew how to prepare them. The best of the best is Mosharaf: his hookahs were excellent, apparently prepared with soul. Mosharaf, thank you very much for your attention to our married couple. We only took one excursion. Dubai is certainly magnificent with its buildings and technology. And a little about the sad. Disgusting hotel guide Mila. A girl without interest or interest. We asked for recommendations on excursion programs to get acquainted with the culture and characteristics of the Emirates. The answer they received was “Well, you can go to Dubai. Or Abu Dhabi. You still won’t see anything special. Well, they will tell you about history, education and culture. Well, I don’t even know what to advise.” Al Khalidiah Tourism, please pay attention to your hotel guides. Certainly, oriental fairy tale didn't see it. And there was a reason for that - Ramadan. Overall, the holiday was wonderful.
