We vacationed with a 4-year-old child from June 5 to June 15, 2017. The advantages of the hotel are a large beautiful area, swimming pools, a water park for children and the fact that you can take food from the restaurant to your room (not everywhere this is allowed), the rest was not so impressive and there were some things I didn’t like and even surprised because the hotel positions itself as a five * ****!!! This is the fourth time we’ve been staying in hotels in Turkey and everywhere we have only five stars, so we have something to compare with. Now in order:
-Check-in took about half an hour (not quickly), despite the fact that we were alone. In Russian no one boom boom.
They gave me a room on the first floor, an ordinary standard one, everything worked, everything functioned)) It’s good that it’s on the first floor because with a small child who needs an eye and an eye, it was safer for me to live on the first floor. Although the railings on the balconies are high, there are chairs and a small table. There is also a rope stretched at a corner for drying clothes. Unlike other five-star hotels, they also have shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, liquid soap, etc., but this was not here and it surprised me. Also in the room there are no disposable slippers and a robe. The minibar was replenished only 2 times in 10 days. Again, if you compare it with other 5* hotels, the bar was replenished every day. When asked by guide Tui about the bar: Is it five stars? The answer was with a grin: Six! There is also no electric kettle in the room, you can’t drink tea, you can only go to a bar or restaurant. There is no bath in the room, there is a large shower, not slippery, very convenient for a stay for 10 days. The TV is on the table, and there is a light switch behind it, it was not at all convenient. It would be better to hang it on the wall. There are mosquitoes, we took a fumigator with us and definitely fenistil.
The room is cleaned every day, bed linen is changed too. But if you don’t need your bed sheets changed, you should put a green cardboard leaf on the bed. I didn’t like that during the quiet hour from about 2 to 4 p.m., the cleaners were yelling, speaking their own language, in the middle of our building when they were cleaning, it was just terrible and didn’t allow us to rest peacefully. Since each building is built so that in the middle there is a void like a courtyard, everything is very loud.
-The hotel area is large, beautiful, well-groomed. Constantly. even small little things are faked, put on, repaired.
The food will say this: normal, but unlike other hotels it’s worse. Twice we found hair in food, I don’t know where it came from, either from the cook or from visitors, because half of the food is in open form. For example, in another hotel, in a restaurant where visitors go, large screens hang and you can see what is happening in the kitchen and the entire cooking process. The variety of food is average, almost the same every day and the choice is not large. For example, I love mushrooms, but for some reason they were not available separately, but were found only occasionally in different dishes or in cold canned form. The fish is almost all bony to such an extent that it is impossible to eat, especially for a child, but a couple of times there were fillets without bones. There was a lot of fruit: melon, watermelon, strawberries in bulk, apples, oranges, plums, nectarines. For some reason, many metal food trays stand empty or broken and are not used for a larger assortment or at least to avoid creating queues, but they were! Give children less powdered juices; it is better to drink plain water. The waiters come up and ask what we are going to drink. Some work well and quickly, and some, like lethargic chickens, barely or completely stand near the wine tables and practically sleep. I would like to mention one waitress girl for Good work her name is Fethiye Aykut. Of course you won't go hungry, but for five stars it should be better. The wine is not tasty, the coffee is instant, the cocoa is good, Turkish vodka Raki is ok. The beer seemed to be diluted with water. A decent selection of food for dinner, more or less. The restaurant has two beautiful aquariums, but they are poorly maintained and are all overgrown with a green film on the glass. I really didn’t like the service at the bar near the pool, they asked me to make a Pina Colada cocktail, the bartender said that there wasn’t one and showed a list on the counter of what was available, I pointed my finger at one of the names and they said that there wasn’t one either!, as a result, it turned out that there was only one type of cocktail. The other hotel where we vacationed last year had a huge selection, but here there is practically nothing for a lot of money. It's a long walk to the bar and not convenient if you're relaxing near the pool. There are only two bars on the beach. Ice cream stretches like chewing gum very strangely, which is given in the evening for dinner; during the day we did not have time to take it because the child was sleeping. In another hotel, ice cream was like a store in individual packages of factory-made Eskimo, Twister, Cups, Cones. After 16:00 they serve baked goods. My child and I didn’t like it, it was kind of dry and not tasty. There is practically nothing or even nothing at all to eat or have a snack in the break between breakfast and lunch; in bars they only give you booze.
The beach is normal, not for children, just deep and with pebbles that are painful to walk on. But due to this, the water is clean, and when there is sand, the water is usually cloudy. There are fish swimming not far from the shore; it is interesting to swim with a mask. If you take some bread with you, it will be even more interesting)) During the 10 days of vacation, the sea was calm only once; almost always it was not calm and there were waves. There are enough sun loungers on the beach, but you have to go somewhere to get mattresses, or a man carries them for money, it’s very strange, as if they weren’t specially laid out in advance to make money on this. There are very few trash pots on the beach, I would like more. For entertainment, banana, cheesecake, parachute, of course, for the department. fee. I really didn’t like that I couldn’t change the beach towel, which had to be taken in the main building, far enough from the sea and the pools, for a clean or dry one during the day! This is the first time I have seen this in a five-star hotel. Those. if you took a towel, then go with one all day, return it in the evening before 19:00 and you can take a clean one only the next day! I would also note that the hotel does not have a pier, perhaps it was not made for safety reasons, since there are many children.
There are many pools and everywhere there is enough space to swim and not disturb each other, the depth of adults is 140 or 145 cm. In the morning the water in the children's pools is cool, just like in the water park (the coldest), but after 15 o'clock it is already warmer. The temperature lasted for two days, my throat also hurt for two days, then everything went away. Since this year the child contracted this virus in kindergarten, it is possible that it was mild for us. The adults did not get sick. We didn’t panic and didn’t go to the doctor because we had read about Coxsackie on the Internet. We went to the children's club twice, it seemed that the children were left to their own devices. It's not very good for a 4 year old. interesting, maybe it will be more interesting for 7-10 year olds. We were afraid to leave our nimble child because there is enough high slides and without parental supervision, it is unknown how they will climb there.
The child didn’t really like the children’s animation either, but he still went to dance. At 20:30 every evening, children gather on stage to repeat the movements of the animators to the music, who were dressed strangely, some in a dirty T-shirt and shorts, and some in suits. There is not enough space on the stage and for some reason all the children are moved back to the wall. It’s no longer possible to listen to the same songs every day in 10 days. Evening shows are ok, but we have seen better and more professional ones in other hotels.
In conclusion, I can say that the hotel is normal, but no more, and it’s not worth the money we paid. It's more like 4+, but not five stars. It's ok for once. I won't go there again.
