If you leave here in the morning and on weekdays, you can get there very quickly, even though it is 108 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road to Ruza (this is a transit point on the way to two large reservoirs in the west of the Moscow region). If you like to swim “to the opposite bank”, keep in mind that the Moscow Canal, a navigable river artery, passes through the Pyalovskoye Reservoir.

Pestovskoye Reservoir ()

The drive to it is approximately the same as to Pyalovsky. But, turning from Dmitrovski, remember that after passing Kryukovo, after a kilometer and a half, before Aksakovo, you need to turn left. And along the narrow road, along the Moscow Canal, another 4-5 kilometers. This is the farthest and quietest reservoir. Another option is a left turn at the 23rd kilometer of the Yaroslavskoye Highway, along the Small Ring to the Morozki platform - then along the Dmitrovskoye Highway.

There are several beaches formed on the banks of the Pirogovskoye Reservoir, all of them sandy, surrounded by green trees.
