Sea Links City Resort in Mui Ne is our favorite place for cycling! What is personal data

Good afternoon to all readers! I hope that my review will help you in choosing a hotel and make your vacation exactly the way you want. And so... THE ROAD It was the road that caused the most concern, because... flight from Moscow to Nha Trang (charter from Anex Tour) – 10 hours + customs and baggage collection – about 2 hours (the Vietnamese are in no hurry with this) + transfer to the hotel – 4 hours. This journey cannot be called easy, but everything was not difficult. The road is very picturesque and gives the opportunity to see small towns, villages, mountains, sea, rice fields, orchards, various animals and birds. Along the way, the guide told a lot of interesting and useful information about the country, customs, money, fruits, etc. After two hours of travel there is a stop. You can eat/drink, go to the toilet and just stretch. Everything is very clean and comfortable.By the way, a little advice: do not change a large amount of money at the airport, the exchange rate there is the most unfavorable. We drove back from the hotel to Nha Trang on our own, refusing the Anex transfer, we simply left a day earlier, having ordered private transfer in the private company Lenya-tour, which we were very pleased with. HOTEL The description of the hotel is in previous reviews, and they are fair. The territory is huge: cottages, apartments, golf courses, ponds, a wine castle, a cascade of excellent swimming pools - it’s all there. Despite our early arrival at the hotel, we were given a room immediately. When booking we chose a deluxe room sea view, also left a note about the provision of one bed and accommodation on a high floor. Taking into account the fact that the highest floor is 6, and this is the administrative floor: reception, lobby, restaurant, billiards, a small shop with beach accessories and souvenirs, we were given the highest residential floor - 5. View from the balcony (or rather from the terrace) is simply excellent. The whole tourist attraction of Mui Ne is at your fingertips! The photos and description of the room are true. In my opinion, the room cannot be called luxurious, but everything is very stylish and comfortable. If we talk about the minuses, we can mention the quiet operation of the air conditioner, as well as the lack of chairs on the terrace. Or rather, there is furniture and a large plant on it, but the furniture is a table and sun loungers, but you want comfortable chairs in which it would be very pleasant to drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine early in the morning or late in the evening. Well, the refrigerator was also very weak; it didn’t cool anything at all. The best way to get around the hotel is by buggy. To go to the beach you need to go through the pool area to the children's playground, where the cars stop. If they are not there at the time of your approach, then in no more than 3-5 minutes the buggy will arrive; in the pool area there is always staff ready to help and call for transport. You can call the car back from the bar on the beach or from the “checkpoint” to the beach. By the way, the car will not take you exactly to the beach; the stop will be at the bridge over highway and the descent to the beach is a fairly large series of steps. It’s not clear how people with limited mobility and vacationers with baby strollers can cope. There is no elevator. To go out to the village with cafes and shops, you can order a buggy at the reception and explain what you need in Mui Ne. The car will take you to the exit of the Ocean Vista apartment complex, and then walk along the embankment, about two kilometers. You can take a taxi, the price is low, just ask for a small car - it's cheaper. I would like to note that despite the fact that the hotel territory is huge, there is no park area as such. There are paths around the golf courses, between the cottages, but there is no garden with walking paths, beautiful compositions, streams, fish, or benches. I can say the best things about the food at the hotel. We were in the off-season and there were very few vacationers, but despite this, the breakfasts were different every day, the dishes were in sufficient quantity and varied. There have always been both Asian and European options. No one will be left hungry or unhappy. I would especially like to mention the very tasty Vietnamese coffee with a noticeable aftertaste of chocolate, as well as pastries. We didn't see a children's menu. There is a very unusual addition to breakfast - live music. We had lunch at the hotel once, took pizza (it was praised in previous reviews), but it did not cause delight, nor did the bill for lunch in general =)). BEACH and POOLS The hotel has a beach, and it is large and well equipped. There are many sun loungers, palm umbrellas with tables, there are swings, goals for beach football, and a station with jet skis. The beds and mattresses are not new, but in general everything is fine. On the beach there is a bar with food and drinks (prices are average, in the tourist area you can have a full dinner for this amount), there are showers and toilets. Apparently, due to the off-season, there were very few people on the beach; on some days it was just the two of us. And here I will express my bewilderment regarding the service. There were always sufficient numbers of hotel workers on the beach, but they did not pay any attention to us at all. They sat peacefully on sunbeds, discussed something loudly, or simply slept in the shade. The task of getting a mattress, putting it on a sun lounger, getting a towel is the task of the vacationer. Not once were we offered help, although we managed it ourselves, but we must remember that the hotel has 5 stars, and this presupposes a certain service and attention. Also, they never offered water. This situation seemed strange, but it didn’t spoil the rest. The coastal strip is quite clean, as is the sea itself. The sea during our stay was very warm (+30/31), there were practically no waves. The entrance to the sea is very gentle and not deep at all. You can safely swim with children. The bottom is also clean, without living creatures. Marine part The beach has a structure made of stones and concrete blocks, such as a pier or breakwater, which additionally creates a small and very calm backwater. Round fishing boats are also based there; it is quite interesting to walk along the beach, look at them and, sometimes, watch the fishermen at work. Swimming pools. I’ll say right away that everything is excellent in the pool area with service and maintenance! However, we only used the pool once in the evening. The pools are open until 18-00, there are six of them, they are of different depths, there is an area for children with slides and fountains. Near the children's area there is a playground with swings/carousels/sandbox. Next to other pools there are outdoor exercise machines. The entire bathing area is very clean, cozy, surrounded by palm trees and flowering bushes. There is a 2-story bar that also sells newspapers, swimwear, toys and other small items, and ice cream. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION During our vacation (the first days of October) the weather was excellent, the air temperature was about +34/36 (according to the electronic display at the reception), there was no rain at all. There is not much to do in Mui Ne, because... all resort area represented by one road with cafes, shops located on it, massage parlors, pharmacies (= shop), travel agencies. The range of shops/pharmacies is inferior to Nha Trang. The cafe menus are quite similar in both the dishes presented and the prices. We liked two cafes: Alex and Panda, we recommend them. Prices in Mui Ne cafes are lower than in Nha Trang, although not significantly. We went on an excursion to Baolok to see the waterfalls. Liked. The road is long, but very beautiful, and the waterfalls and amusement park themselves leave the most pleasant impressions. We also took a taxi to Phan Thiet twice on our own. We walked around the city and went to the COOP mart supermarket (the prices there are very reasonable and there are a lot of interesting and unusual products for us). Next to the supermarket there is a very colorful market where you can see seedlings of papaya, mango, durian, coconut and other wonders. We walked through the park area of Phan Thiet beach. We visited the whale temple (a very unusual place, if you are interested, look it up on the Internet). I was very impressed by the river bank with moored colorful fishing boats; we saw fishermen going out to sea in the evening. RESULT Overall, we were very pleased with the trip. We recommend a holiday in Mui Ne and a hotel, but when choosing this hotel you need to understand how convenient some of its distance from the main site will be for you tourist area, as well as the fact that the hotel is located on a mountainous area and almost all walks will be up and down. As a piece of advice, I suggest considering the option of a mixed holiday of Phan Thiet + Nha Trang (or another city), then it definitely won’t be boring, and there will be twice as many impressions.
