The activities of organizations that register users without obtaining such consent are illegal.

Having read the law on the official website of the President of the Russian Federation, I would like to give an honest assessment.
This is my first time in the Dominican Republic! Before that there were: Türkiye, Egypt, Thailand, UAE. For the first time I decided to fly so far, because according to the season and the availability of the all-inclusive service, only the Dominican Republic and Egypt, which are closed, were suitable! It’s hard to fly for 12 hours, but it’s worth being patient, it’s a charter flight, the plane is not new, no Wi-Fi on board, no movies. Tour operator - TEZ TOUR.
Everyone who writes that this is a wonderful hotel is apparently under the impression of the Dominican Republic itself! I was wildly delighted with the Dominican Republic, it’s unreal beautiful island, gorgeous Caribbean, famous beaches and unreal nature, once on the island, you forget about all the agony of a 12-hour flight.
The hotel is not new: the furniture is already tired in places, but it is clean, renovated, the linen is fresh and clean, the towels are good and new! There are no bathrobes in the rooms, nor slippers. The hotel is huge - I can’t even begin to count how many people are in it, because it’s incredibly big, there are a lot of people! The Dominican Republic is a place where you want silence, privacy, a quiet beach, but in fact the Iberostar hotel is the same Turkey, only for Americans, don’t expect silence, crowds of people everywhere (in restaurants, on the beach, by the pools, among the trees and paths , at an evening show, in every toilet line, in any bar or beach grill). Most of all I wanted silence, but in the end there were more people here than in any Turkey. There are almost no Russians, only foreigners.
Food - even in Egypt we were fed better! Yes, there seems to be food, but in the end there is nothing to eat: a couple of types of meat, fried fish and squid. I love to eat, but everything was not tasty for me! The only plus is natural fruits and juices! There are a lot of them!
The best thing that happened to me in the Dominican Republic was that I accidentally got on an excursion to the island of Saona (bought from a German tour operator for $160 per person). Excursion - Deluxe, the most complete and expensive! Take it! You will not regret! All those who traveled for 90-120 dollars were very sorry, because this is a completely different program. Deluxe Saona - for the whole day, with unreal beaches, a yacht and high-speed boats, dancing, rum right in the ocean, lobsters.

And now the main thing is the weather! The first 3 days were heaven on earth, the sun was hot, it was hot, the ocean was perfect. The remaining 6 days - rain at night and in the evening, at 5 the sun was already setting, during the day it was cloudy and cold, there was no sun, the ocean was terrible and there were huge waves with an influx of algae! Despite my great desire, it was not possible to swim in such weather in the ocean, and in the pool there was dirt, a lot of foreigners, “poop” floating around, and here I did not lie even once and did not exaggerate!

Separately, I would like to talk about TEZ TOUR! I flew through them for the first and last time! They stupidly abandoned all their tourists! We didn't pay for our trips! When checking in, I had to pay $500 per person in cash - as a guarantee that the tour would still pay for the trip for me. As a result, I was left without cash! After 5 days, they blocked my electronic cards from my room, turned off Wi-Fi and told me that I owe them $1,450, otherwise they won’t give me my room with my things, because TEZ TOUR still hasn’t paid for the vouchers. After a night call to my husband in Russia and hotline Tez Tour and many hours of tears at the reception, they promised to sort out this situation and “let me” spend the night in my room until the situation was resolved. Damn .., for 125,000 rubles per person for 9 days of my own money - I stood and begged in tears these Latinos to let me spend the night, take my things and have dinner! In the morning, my husband resolved the situation by raising a scandal - the payment from the tour went through very quickly and surprisingly quickly. Nobody apologized. I'm shocked.

Regarding the animation - it is available by the pool during the day and in the evening at 21:30 in the lobby, but taking into account the fact that at 6 it is already night, it is unrealistically difficult to wait until 21:30. Disco starts at 23:00, but there are almost no people there.

Wifi is free. It only catches in the room and at the reception, sometimes in places around the territory. There are no local SIM cards, don’t even try to buy them - I tried. Internet roaming is incredibly expensive, so be prepared to often be without a connection.

So, the conclusion. Having enough Money, having endured a 12.5 hour flight in each direction, seeing good luxury hotels all over the world - to the Iberostar hotel chain, I will not go again for any persuasion.

Mui bien.
Be careful, there are a lot of letters)))
Firstly, I read a lot of reviews before the trip, and categorically disagree with the reviews that have a rating below 4x, but whatever one may say, this hotel at least deserves a rating of 4 (both in terms of star rating and in terms of price-quality ratio), the rating is already higher variable/subjective.
Secondly, there is something to compare with; 5 years ago we were at Barcelo Bavaro Beach, it is more expensive, but there will be comparisons at the end.
Overall, I give this hotel a score of 90 out of 100/a solid 4.5. I think it's best hotel, in which I was on this moment, if you are sober about the shortcomings that exist absolutely everywhere.
The hotel belongs to the well-known and very worthy Iberostar chain, is part of a complex of 4 hotels in Punta Cana, has a twin brother Iberostar Dominican Republic and is the cheapest (on par with Ib House) among this complex. Currently in this hotel There are two large 4-story buildings. In the Dominican Republic there is one large building and several bungalows, Iberostar Bavaro - exclusively bungalow-type houses (you can visit the territory). Judging solely by the territory of Pk-Dom, it is small, but on average we walked 6 km per day. The territory is looked after, several gardeners constantly improve something throughout the day, cut the grass, renew the lawn, and for a small thank you ($1-2), they will open and treat you to coconuts.
On the territory of Punta Cana - Dominican Republic, there are two mirror pools with different depths, and a small children's pool, between the two pools there is a bar. In Bavaro there is one swimming pool with a bar and a children's pool with a play complex.
The PK-Dom beach has six rows of fairly tightly packed sun loungers with large umbrellas; in Bavaro there are also sun loungers-beds. We walked to Hard Rock, from the point of view of the coziness of the beach, as well as cleanliness of algae - the Iberian beach is the best!!! definitely all the way to Occidental (although there are rocks in the sea near Occidental). All sorts of Riu and Baia are not nearby, the algae was not removed, some hotels have barriers against algae in the water, this does not help, there is a smell, there were areas with black water (I don’t know what it was), there were stones somewhere and a washed-out beach. In Iberostar on our visit there were only a few algae, in the morning the sea was almost perfect, in the evening it washed up a little, but it was quickly cleared up, we swam in the sea calmly, but we also love swimming pools, the algae did not bother us, and one trip to Saona was enough for us to swim in the perfect Caribbean Sea.
Room - standard, 5269, third floor, view of the central fountain. The rooms are in one word - tired. Good mattresses, a new electronic safe, high-quality curtains and normal textiles (linen and towels) are some of the pluses in the room. the weakest point is the bathroom, not new plumbing, smeared cracks, scratches, cracks. The rest of the furniture was normal, it was clear that it had been used for a long time, but frankly nothing was broken, the fan and air conditioner, the light worked, the entrance and balcony doors opened/closed. Of the minuses, audibility in the room is good, earplugs will help you if you are a light sleeper. The room area is sufficient: a bed area with bedside tables, a sofa with a large table opposite, a large closet with hangers and shelves, a large table with a mirror and side tables. Iron with board in the closet, minibar (cola, Fanta, water, 2 beers), tea station, coffee maker, ice bucket, 2 cups, 2 glasses. In the shower there was a hairdryer, gel and shampoo in dispensers, something in tubes (various things, there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion), a sewing kit and soap. There are no gowns, slippers, or dental kits. The cleaning was normal, we even had our floors washed several times, water was added regularly, beer was rare, tea and coffee were renewed once. There were no problems with the sockets in our room, all were suitable for European plugs; my friends in the Dominican Republic had only one European socket, the rest were American.
Meals: There are two buffet restaurants on site in the lobby area. both are open for breakfast and dinner - only one is open for lunch; there is also a snack bar in the Dominican Republic buffet from 11 pm to 6 am. The buffet beach restaurant between the beach and the pool is open for breakfast and lunch and turns into an ala carte fish restaurant for dinner.
For nutrition al: breakfasts (fruit and vegetable smoothies, vegetables, cheeses, sausages, yoghurts, eggs, a cook preparing omelettes, various types of cereal, yogurt in jars and on tap, various pastries and breads, sandwiches, bacon, mashed potatoes, hashish browns, pancakes, peanut butter, caramel, Nutella and jam). Lunch/dinner (1-2 types of soup, cheeses, sausages, burgers, pizza, pasta, turkey, grilled pork/beef/fish, mashed potatoes, fresh and cooked vegetables, rice different types, cannelloni (stuffed pasta), onion and squid rings, salads, ribs, wings, goulash, corn, a pickled vegetable station, a variety of pastries and ice cream. Fruits for all meals (pineapples always, mangoes not always, passion fruit almost always, watermelon, melon, papaya, apples, bananas, oranges). From “seafood”: 3 times in 10 days there were tuna steaks and 2 times red fish, several times salads with shrimp, twice lobster, also paella with mussels, shrimp and pieces of lobster next to the beach restaurant. After all, the Dominican Republic is a country of meat-eaters, and their meat is really cool, and they are quite indifferent to marine life. At the beach buffet everything is the same, but a slightly reduced range. Also, the evening dinners in the buffets every day were supposed to be themed, but only the Mexican theme was noticeable: burritos, nachos with sauces, guacamole and a large cake with the Mexican flag appeared.
A la carte restaurants, we managed to visit 4: Mexican, Star Rock (American), steakhouse and Gourmet (French). The most disgusting thing (according to the combined opinion of 4 people) is a steakhouse, firstly, the steakhouse building is being renovated and it has been moved to a fish restaurant, secondly, extremely poor service, thirdly - most importantly - it was the most poorly prepared meat, even taking into account dishes with buffet. Two steaks are like a sole, and the ribeye looks like a piece of fatty pork, we went to eat at the buffet) Mexican is good, lacks atmosphere, music, 50/50 in dishes, very good beef steak, delicious guacomole (at buffets it is bland and a bit runny) , appetizer with shrimp ok, soups ok, fish and chicken - I don’t recommend it, desserts ok. They even made us a sangrita to go with the tequila (who knows), but 4 members of the service staff came to watch us drink it))) American restaurant - it has the most divine BBQ ribs that I have eaten in my life, very!! tasty cheese appetizer, good burger patties (but not enough sauce), decent steak, but the wings appetizer and wrap with cheese and ham are not so good. desserts are ok. French restaurant/gourmet: we expected less, so we were pleasantly surprised. This is the most beautiful restaurant we've been to, the atmosphere is cool, but there is a strict dress code (men wear long trousers). The menu has excellent desserts, good beef, good shrimp from appetizers, vegetables with cheese are tasty, but not enough, the roll was a bit dry.
Bars: for us, the coolest bar was in the lobby of Punta Cana, bartenders Francis, Ronni and Jacklin - one love. We tried the ENTIRE cocktail menu. Favorites: Alexandra cocktail, Kir Royale, Iberostar, Daiquiri Mulato - this is for girls, for boys - Zombie and Max Slight (it's not on the menu, but ask at the bar, everyone knows it). The bar in the lobby of the Dominican Republic is weaker, the staff is less pleasant. Also a normal bar is behind the beach restaurant, the bar between the pools is rather weak.
Excellent coffee, including cappuccino, only where there are coffee machines - in lobby bars, respectively, coffee from the machine is hyper-sweet, coffee from coffee pots is sour.
Alcohol brands: Brugal assortment, Jack whiskey, Balantays, Red Label, Jim Beam, J&B, Martini of all types, Baileys, Smirnov Vodka, Stolichnaya, Finland.
WI-FI: it’s free, which is a plus, it’s good, it reached the beach, it dropped out periodically, but that’s not a problem. I could calmly stream YouTube and video calls from my room. The only thing was that in the area from the lobby to the pool, where the paths and fountain were, it disappeared completely.
Animation: here the situation is as follows, we arrived on Tuesday, and accordingly the first week, the animation team (10-12 people) was the best of all that I have seen, the lighter guys led by Coco Chanel, it was very fun and cool!!! Two foam discos, a beach disco, Miss Bikini, a circus and an illusion show, a karaoke evening, dancing, dancing, dancing, the guys came up and talked, since our company was active - they knew us, welcomed us, and invited us to participate in all the events. in the second week on Monday we left for an excursion, came back and silence, practically no familiar faces, sad animators who stood on the sidelines, Monday and Tuesday were sad, silence on the beach, silence in the pool. On Wednesday, three new guys appeared, who at least somehow improved the situation and enlivened the pool, thereby returning a good opinion about the animation.
Evening shows: on the main stage in the theater in the Dominican Republic, the only interesting things we found were the Michael Jackson Show and the Dominican Evening, these are mass productions, with songs and dances, colorful and cool. There was also a Miss Iberostar show, men against women (rotten), and a song knowledge competition (for Spanish speakers mostly). On the mini-stage next to the lobby of Punta Cana there was live music, dancing with animators, once karaoke (which is nice, we even found songs for Russians), we most spent evenings here.
Disco club: not very big, no screens, bar inside the club is not very good, but outside is good. The music is mostly local-colorful, read Spanish-dance, the movement and appearance of people at the disco began somewhere from 23-40, when in other places everything ended, Anglo-American music is periodically available, somewhere from 12-20 to 01-00, then again only the sounds of salsa and bachata.
Service and maintenance: the weakest thing for us in this regard was the reception, people are not interested in solving your problems, they are not very friendly, they are extremely indifferent. But the bartenders and waiters are mostly cool, very positive, they sing and dance. The service in the main restaurants is good, they quickly pour water, bring drinks, it will be especially good if you sit in the service area of the same waiter, he will remember you and know what you like. At the ala carte, they twice fulfilled “strange” requests for us: they made sangrita, which is not on the menu (a mixture of tomato and orange juice with Tobasco) and made iced coffee, which they also didn’t know about, but they brought ice cream and coffee. In general, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, including security, gardeners, cleaners, they smile and say hello. A tip for them is a sign of your attention and respect; in any case, you will be served well.
As for the Russian language, some staff know a few words in Russian, but your problem will not be solved in Russian if you don’t speak languages - only sign language can help. Among the unpleasant moments, there were a couple of times when the staff forgot English, if something was required, in the hope that you would fall behind, they started speaking only in Spanish)) but this was rather an annoying misunderstanding. Although in general a Dominican who speaks really good English is a rarity, just a couple of senior managers know more than a basic set of English phrases.
Casino: a small, uncrowded place, we came for variety and out of curiosity, I liked the electronic roulette, my husband preferred poker, friends - slot machines. The main thing is to stop on time))
The gym is the best gym of all hotel halls. A new two-story building with good fitness equipment and rooms for group classes. Very strict with sports shoes: you will not be allowed into classes wearing flip-flops, slippers or any other shoes (except for yoga). The hall has towels, an assortment of water and tea, and fruit. Group classes include yoga, zumba, strength training, and kickboxing.
There are no comments about Spa, we haven’t been there, we weren’t interested.
In the lobby there are shops with alcohol, beach accessories, souvenirs, there is also a pharmacy and a cigar room on site. They have their own agency for selling excursions; if you speak English, you can safely take them at the hotel.
Additional comments: locals come in on weekends (from 3:00 pm on Friday until Sunday evening), the number of people and children increases by one and a half times, and accordingly, along with this, noise, screams, queues increase, and the quality of food decreases. The only advantage of this is that the disco is more crowded. You need to be prepared for this and, my advice, is to go on excursions on these days.
There are a lot of Russians, for some this is a determining factor that needs to be taken into account. But mostly these are Spanish-speaking tourists. Spain, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Americans in large quantities did not notice.
On Monday - feedback day, in the evening after dinner you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire with your opinion, because of this, from the second half of the day everyone becomes as smiling and friendly as possible, asking if everything is okay, additional snacks are put out in the lobby, gathering the maximum number of staff, always live music and all the animators and managers in the lobby. Don't be hostile to it, just enjoy it. Based on the results of the survey, our friends were invited to talk with the manager, we all came together and voiced all the problems, the manager Cesar at least wrote everything down, but it is unlikely that these comments will go anywhere further than him)) although I would like to))
Comparison with Barcelo Bavaro Beach. Initially we considered it, but two factors became decisive: higher cost, even compared to Iberostar Bavaro and latest reviews from guests who visit the BBB regularly that it has deteriorated. But even in comparison with the BBB of five years ago, in my opinion it is still slightly inferior to Iberostar Punta Cana. Significant advantages of the BBB: large, newer Casino and disco club, a larger area with a tram (although it is debatable whether this is a plus or a minus), cool ala carte Mexican and steakhouse restaurants, the best organization of beach volleyball (there were two fields), as well as a good football field. Perhaps that's all + BBB. The service is definitely better in Iberostar, it was practically absent in BBB, the animation is definitely much better, in BBB it was also practically absent. Food and drinks, including better cocktails. The rooms are equally tired. There are no umbrellas on the beach at BBB, only natural shade from palm trees. The beach itself in Iberostar is nicer (Arena Gorda is cleaner than Bavaro in terms of algae). The BBB has problems with free wifi. Fitness is better in Iberia. Please note that such a comparison is my purely personal opinion and I evaluate the BBB as of 5 years ago.
Regarding the comparison of Iberostar Bavaro and Punta Cana, Iberostar Punta Cana was chosen for a relatively low cost, in principle we were ready to pay extra on the spot to Bavaro, but did not consider it necessary, we were on the territory of Bavaro and did not find anything special for ourselves that could be paid for pay extra The rooms are not important to us, we only spent the night in them. Most of the bungalows in Bavaro are in quiet areas, but there are some close to the disco and theater where it is very noisy. I would recommend Bavaro to families with children, because children's clubs and a children's pool with entertainment are located right here, in Punta Cana it is more fun and noisy.
Result: The hotel is excellent in terms of price-quality ratio!!! The Iberostar mesh has proven itself worthy. Dominican Republic one love, this was our second visit, but definitely not the last)))

We really liked the hotel: Rooms: we booked through Anex tour the most ordinary room - promo room- it is written in the voucher. But, upon check-in, we were given an improved room (they didn’t pay anything extra and didn’t ask us to change rooms). When checking in, we were immediately told that there was no need to wait 15 hours, the rooms would be ready by 12 - go to the reception. So, our room was neither in the Punta Cana building nor in the Dominican Republic building, but in a separate building - right next to the restaurants and lobby. In the room: a huge and comfortable bed, ironing board, iron, safe, slippers, bathrobes, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, body cream, the minibar was replenished daily, as were towels and pastels. It is better to take rooms higher - floor 3-4 - ideal, it is not so humid there. We had a room on the 2nd floor (6114). The furniture is not new, but notwretched. Everything is quite decent. Be sure to take an adapter for sockets - everything here has thin plugs, only in the bathroom the hairdryer has an socket, like ours. The hotel territory: well, there are no words to describe all this beauty: everything is green, perfectly trimmed, every day the entire territory is cleaned, trimmed, irrigated - everything is as clean and beautiful as possible. The pools are clean, large and deep. The sunbeds by the pools are comfortable. Beach: during our stay the algae was 50/50 - once there was, but they were immediately removed with a tractor, so they were not annoying. Some days there were none at all. The ocean was full of waves all the time - I never saw it really smooth and calm. But that didn’t stop me from swimming in it. The water in the ocean is clean and turquoise. Kayaks and catamarans are free on the beach. If you take a catamaran and fill the sail - so that they come and pick you up - you need to pay $50. What they write in the reviews about booking sunbeds in the morning is really true - you arrive at 8 am and all the sun beds are already “occupied” - there are towels, T-shirts, slippers lying around - apparently at 6 am the early birds run to book a place. Of course, you can find a place, but you have to try. There is always room at the pool. Food: in both buffets the food is absolutely the same - sometimes there were mussels, shrimp, crab tentacles, lobsters - but not always. Sometimes they make rolls and sushi. The pasta is delicious. There's a lot of food. We signed up for 4 a la carte restaurants: we only got into 2: there was a fire in a Mexican restaurant and on that day all a la carte restaurants worked on a buffet system. So, we got a Mexican restaurant and a Chinese one at the same time. We tried the burgers at the Hard Rock Cafe and didn't like them, but the desserts there were delicious. Regarding alcohol - there are a lot of bars - only on the beach - swimming pool - there are 4 of them. At the pool area, drinks are brought by waiters - if you are suddenly too lazy to walk to the bar. All the cocktails seemed too strong to me - they poured alcohol without sparing. The coffee is not made very well - if you are a cappuccino lover, it is better to take coffee with milk. The beer is delicious. The animation is great - from morning to late evening there will be activities - you definitely won’t be bored. In the evening in the lobby area Punta Cana they sing songs, some even dance. The Dominican Theater also hosts some performances every evening. A disco, which after 11 pm is nothing. Excursions: For youth and active lovers nightlife I recommend the Coco Bongo club (don’t take VIP tickets - they are boring and very expensive) - the program there is awesome, dancing and fun. My husband flew in a helicopter - he was also delighted - there is only 1 company that flies to Punta Cana, so it doesn’t matter who you book the excursion with - the price is the same for everyone. We took 30 minutes - to see the maximum - while I was waiting for him - people took 10 minutes - they just took off and landed immediately. It is too little. We also went to Santo Domingo through TezTur - we had a guide Lilia - and, as much as I’m not a fan group excursions, I was so pleased with the excursion only thanks to her. In general, for the price of excursions, everything is expensive. It's really really expensive. We were in Cuba and brought back more money from there. And then we also had to pay by card. They didn’t change dollars - they paid with them everywhere. Cards are accepted everywhere - well, I mean supermarkets and shops, payment for excursions. I recommend the hotel to everyone - it’s quite decent!
