Pattaya has the most active nightlife in Thailand. Mostly young people and families without children come here.

Best time for holidays in Thailand - from November to the end of March. However, all months of the year, without exception, are hot, and the sea is warm. Summer is the rainy season in the country.

To travel to Thailand you only need a passport - no visa is required.

The flight from Moscow to Thailand lasts about 9 hours.

Upon check-in, hotel staff usually ask for a deposit for the room. The deposit amount is approximately 50 US dollars (depending on the hotel).

When purchasing a tour to Thailand, you usually choose only breakfast at the hotel. Tourists prefer to have lunch and dinner in numerous and inexpensive restaurants or a cafe.

Never drink tap water! It is better to take your medications with you; local pharmacies will only stock alternative medicine.

If you are not going to hang around in it all day, you can live.
So, again my favorite Asia - unforgettable nature, climate that suits me, sabai-sabai and a sea of impressions)))
The principle of choosing a hotel is not far from the center (15-20 minutes by tuk-tuk), quiet place, nearby there is a shopping street with catering, inexpensive (I’m talking about the cost of the tour). We weren’t going to stay in a hotel, so I tried to keep only one point - a comfortable room. You can half-close your eyes to everything else. Let's start:

WITH UTAPAO airport drive about an hour. We were at the hotel at six in the morning. Do you think someone rushed to help us move in? Can't wait! Check-in at 14:00((((I’m more than sure that the rooms were free, but no one wanted to meet us halfway and take pity on the tired and sleep-deprived travelers(((We weren’t upset - we threw off our backpacks, changed clothes in the toilet and set off to explore We managed to look around the area - uncomfortable, unkempt, big, but kind of stupid. In general, we managed to get acquainted with the third Russian street, changed our SIM cards to Thai ones, refilled them at 7/11, connected a bunch of Internet for two weeks in advance. there, we discussed excursions and menus of local eateries with very inauthentic Russian-style names with street barkers.
At 14:00 and not a minute earlier, I went up to the reception, impatiently drummed my fingers on the counter and began a long and hysterical search for my son’s and my passports (among a million Chinese and a dozen Slavic ones who were also waiting for check-in). Here I would like to immediately note the staff - inattentive, unsmiling, indifferent. When you approach the counter, you get the impression that you are flashing through part of a huge conveyor belt, and the reception workers with blurry eyes are watching that you don’t turn off this conveyor belt in the wrong direction (but, I must admit, the problems that arose were solved). Hallelujah! After 15 minutes of checking the appearance, the passports were found (mini digression: when the employees were sorting through the Slavic passports, they missed twice, looking at the photo in the passport, and at that moment I very clearly realized that we all looked the same to them, just like the Chinese to us)))) and the employee volunteered to accompany us and show us everything. He kindly brought him to his room, with tired movements he pressed the buttons on the TV/air conditioner/safe, pointed his finger at the hairdryer/kettle/telephone and said in fairly passable Russian that 100 rubles would suit him, he would change it himself))))) I didn’t squirm, I gave it to him One hundred rubles.

The room and the hotel in general. The room is large, with two beds, a TV, a modest storage system (no closet), a minibar, an air conditioner, two armchairs and a table, which we immediately dragged onto the balcony (by the way, there is a fully functional clothes dryer on the balcony, things dry quickly). Read all the unimpressed reviews - it’s all true - the sun loungers on the balcony are too heavy to lift, the plumbing is trashed, the ants feel right at home, there’s nothing to eat in the canteen..... Well, there’s nothing - if you always think about what we’re doing at home We don’t prepare breakfast for seven courses, then we can live))) But I also can’t eat fried eggs and sausages every day (((Croissants are not real, made from unlayered yeast dough - just a bun, in short, and that one from yesterday; from fruits only pineapples and watermelons, there was also edible pasta and sometimes meat, but more often than not, where the meat was lying, something just stank like crazy (some kind of sauce, I don’t know, the Chinese gladly put this stinking stuff on themselves and smacked their lips, and I was in a hurry to run past this stench and there was no time for meat anymore (((((In general, I went to breakfast only 4 times out of 12, and my son generally 2 :-) (we had a very dense excursion program, we didn’t often spend the night at the hotel, and during the day we spent even less time in it)))

What was very annoying is that the building in its center does not have a roof; it is made like a tower, that is, there are no air conditioners in the corridors - natural ventilation, so to speak. So this natural ventilation howls in the room so much that it is impossible to sleep. A draft from the balcony, even with the doors closed, rushes into the common corridor and into the bathroom. I can’t say that it’s really blowing, but this mind-blowing hum drove me crazy (((, well, personally, my thing is that the floor in the room is tiled - my feet get cold walking on the bare floor, plus, if I drop something (water), you can just kill yourself or unexpectedly demonstrate your stretching skills. Our air conditioner was leaking. I was too lazy to contact the unsmiling reception staff, they just gave up on this matter. The attentive maid found a puddle and laid a small towel there for the feet. Another stupid towel was cleaning it all the time (they were working). they were there every other day and by a towel I could understand who cleaned the room today :-)) (that’s also interesting - they couldn’t tell the reception that the air conditioner was leaking in the room...., it’s easier to put down towels). Well, what else about the room? Two Russian channels were shown, the view from the balcony was amazing, there was a kettle, I happily brewed Cambodian coffee in a Vietnamese coffee mug (I forgot what it was called) Two bottles of water were regularly supplied every day.
We tried twice to get into the fitness center on the 4th floor, but to no avail; it was closed. Once we went to a tired water park; out of five slides, only 3 were working. Not fun, not interesting, although the pools there were relatively clean, the lazy river was working.
Once we went to the sea near the hotel - I even splashed in the water. It didn’t stink of anything, there was no garbage floating around, and in general, I would have gone again, but the opportunity never presented itself. I was surprised by the intricate design of the passage to the beach - zigzag, why is it needed there at all? And access to the beach is closed for safety reasons (as it is written in the instructions for tourists) either at 9 (pm), or at 7 pm, I forgot.
We went to the hotel pool twice; we took towels from the reception desk, but we still didn’t understand how it worked; the person just put up a “out” sign and left. Although there are plenty of clean towels behind the counter. What did he run out of there? We come back to return the towels - there is this sign on the counter again - we signed the register ourselves and left the towels right on the counter. The pool itself is small, but there are never crowds of people in it. The water smells like bleach. There were always sunbeds available.
Neighbours. Yes, there are no fewer Chinese than ours. Yes, noisy, but much more decent than in Vietnam. The hotel is so huge that their proximity did not bother us in any way, and in general the proximity did not bother us; sometimes it felt like we were the only ones living on the floor. Never saw anyone. For me this is a plus. No one bothers you to meditate on the balcony, day or night.
What's nearby: Russian street, 7\11, night market, tuk-tuk stop to the center (we went straight to terminal 21 without transfers). The market has everything and prices are significantly lower than in the center. We ate at this market a couple of evenings (we took pork and chicken skewers). I liked that they didn’t just bring you all this on a plate, but also a cabbage salad, a small bowl of soy sauce, a small bowl of chili sauce. And it’s not expensive - a kebab of 4-5 pieces (normal, not Lilliputian) 50 baht - that’s 100 rubles in total. My son also appreciated it, although initially he said in plain text - I will not eat here 100%, the shrimp were also ok - I think they were already boiled, they just kept them on the grill a little for show, but it was delicious.
The bottom line is that my resume for the hotel is very shabby and no one is going to improve it, neither inside nor outside. The quality of service is also unlikely to improve. Where do such conclusions come from - and just how elementary do you need to disrespect your guests in order to give them patched floor rags instead of beach towels? And this joke with the Internet? (read in other reviews) We couldn’t connect at all the first time, and then we completely gave up on it - take Thai SIM cards - you’ll be connected and connected to the Internet all the time. Quite fast and inexpensive. My son is always on his YouTube and who knows where - the speed was quite enough. In general, depending on why you are going to Thailand - to relax for fun, travel and be impressed - you can check into this hotel. The schedule is to go to breakfast, then to the sea, then to the pool, then a nap, lunch, again the sea, the night market - it’s better to look for a nicer hotel.
I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. I won't go back to it myself. (I don’t really understand how some people come to it three to five times.... WHAT TO DO THERE???? What could there be to like there?)
We went to Bangkok, Cambodia, Kwai, five provinces, rode ATVs, wandered around temples, made our way through the jungle, swam in waterfalls - we returned without hind legs just to sleep, so I rate our accommodation at 4. And taking into account the fact that The hotel is Asian and 3* - it’s a shame to wish for more))))
I promised to return to Asia on my own, but it’s too expensive for a couple of weeks. A very inhumane price tag for a flight. And the package with this hotel is quite reasonable price offers and minimal service is still present.

Currently, there are fewer people, plus the Russians are beginning to be displaced by the Chinese. And it became possible to book it online, without the mediation of travel agencies.

Since we live in Pattaya, we know a lot about the hotel - we have jumped from the hotel more than once, went into it, seen the rides in the amusement park and often visited Dongtan Beach, where the hotel is located. Therefore, our review of Pattaya Park Beach Resort will be objective, from eyewitnesses.

So what can we say about him? More good than bad. Naturally, for different categories of tourists it will have different pros and cons.

We can immediately say with full responsibility that this is the best Pattaya hotel in its category for families with children. Judge for yourself.

Firstly, here in one place on the territory of the hotel complex there is the only water park and amusement park within the city.

Of course, the water park is small, but for others you will have to travel more than half an hour (if you buy a paid tour there, but if you go on your own, it can take an hour to get there). But since we are considering Pattaya Hotel A park for families with children, the local water park is the best for children, since there are no mind-blowing and dangerous slides. As for the attractions in Luna Park, there is no other alternative at the resort; you will have to travel 2 hours to get them.

Secondly, jumping from the Pattaya Park Tower is also exclusive to the resort; there is nothing like it anywhere else nearby. In addition, this tower (55 floors) offers excellent panoramic views of and. Plus, there is a revolving restaurant on the 52nd floor.

Thirdly, the hotel is located on the 1st line of the beach, there is no highway between it and the sea, like in or in Central Pattaya. The beach is cleaned and there are sun loungers and umbrellas. The place is calm. Because The beach is long, so you can always find areas where there are no vacationers. Lots of trees and shade, so sun loungers are optional. Available water activities, children especially like to ride on bananas.

The hotel is located away from clubs, discos, hot spots, i.e. There is no noise and screaming drunken Englishmen with Germans and the like, neither day nor night.

The prices at Pattaya Park Beach Resort are low for this level of hotel. But to be fair, it is worth saying that it is not new. However, it regularly undergoes renovations and cosmetic repairs, so it looks decent.

Thus, everything together makes Pattaya Park Beach Resort ideal for family vacation. It will also appeal to those who want to live in quiet place and don't want to nightlife. Nearby there is a market (fruits, things), many cafes, restaurants. For many, it will be useful that the staff speaks Russian, there are signs in Russian everywhere (including the menu in the restaurant).

The location of the hotel is generally good, because... Just walk 8-10 minutes at a leisurely pace and you will find yourself on Thappraya Street, which costs 10 baht. They can take you to Central Pattaya and Jomtien, some even go to Naklua (but the fare will cost 20 baht).

But all the above-mentioned advantages of the hotel will be disadvantages for active young people, those who like to be in the center of nightlife, lovers of clubs and available girls. To get them you will have to drive 20 minutes to the city center.

Infrastructure

Previously the hotel had 3 stars, now Pattaya Park Beach Resort is 4 stars.

On site there is a swimming pool, children's pool, fitness center, spa, sauna, table tennis, billiards, ATM, currency exchange, shops, bar and buffet restaurant.

The rooms have a balcony, air conditioning, cable TV, safe, minibar, hot shower, many rooms also have a bath.

You can book the Pattaya Park Beach Resort hotel yourself on Booking.com.

How to get there
