Globus blue camelot beach hotel 4 Alanya

Not 4 stars.
Let me start with the fact that this fall Turkey probably broke its record for pricing... Until recently we were hoping for an autumn decline in prices, but alas, in September 3 vouchers for 17 days from Krasnoyarsk to the Kemalhan Hotel were purchased beach hotel for 132 thousand rubles.
We arrived in Antalya at 14.30. According to the transfer, our hotel was the last one; we arrived at the hotel around 18.30. We were quickly given bracelets and a key to room 1204. The room had a side view of the sea and the neighboring hotel. The room is quite small in size, with one double and one 1.5-bed. we immediately moved them, so at least he appeared Free access to the bathroom door. The furniture is not new, in this particular room it was broken in places. The air conditioner, refrigerator and TV worked properly. After a more than 10-hour journey with a 4-year-old child, we no longer had the strength to look and ask for other rooms, so we changed clothes and went to dinner.
The dining room (not called a restaurant) is small, sometimes there weren’t even empty seats at peak occupancy. The range of food is not large, but you could always choose what to eat. From meat - sausages, chicken, partridge, roast, a couple of times there was fried chicken on the grill. Mackerel from fish. Some kind of soy sticks. on the side - French fries, country style, cereals, pasta, spaghetti, mashed potatoes. lots of steamed vegetables, and a large selection of greens and chopped salads. For breakfast there were always boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sliced cheeses and sausages, olives, delicious buns, casseroles, sometimes milk porridge, milk with sweet breakfasts and a lot of jams. It was difficult with fruit - watermelons, apples, tangerines, a couple of times grapes and plums. For sweets - only Turkish sweets like soaked shortbread cookies and a couple of times a la pudding. Oh, and one more time they brought out 3 cakes, but the cook didn’t even have time to bring them, Russian girls over 50+ swept away everything.
Speaking of Russian older vacationers... this is probably the mentality. Since “everything has been paid for,” we walk like it’s the last time. the dining room has not yet opened, and they are already milling around the door. and in the first half hour you don’t actually have to go in for food, there are such wild queues as if people haven’t eaten for a week. Naturally, they put out whole plates of everything and don’t eat half of it. Therefore, we came to eat about an hour after the start. The service is good, the waiters quickly clear the tables and wipe them up if someone spills anything.
About the staff in general: at the reception there is a very nice woman, Galina, who will help with any questions that arise. The cleaning ladies barely remember anything in Russian; they didn't clean well on the second floor.
A week later, the lights went out at night and the diesel generator started working right below us. the noise is wild. we asked to change the room in the morning. We were offered a room on the 4th floor on the opposite side. the room is basically the same, but the view from the balcony is simply gorgeous. We stayed there for the rest of our vacation. Here the cleaning was better. Our towels were changed once every 4-5 days, and our bed sheets were changed 3 times in 17 days. The textiles are clean, but it is clear that they are already very “tired”.
Beach and sea. It's really a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The hotel’s beach is so-so, but I won’t say that everything is as terrible as they say. The sunbeds were quite normal, not broken, after 12 o'clock we easily found free ones, the child slept for 2-3 hours under an umbrella to the sound of the sea =). The bar on the beach is paid, we didn’t use it, except to buy ice cream for the child, it was delicious. Well, the sea... The sea is a fairy tale. Warm, clean, transparent, we swam closer to the beach of a neighboring hotel, but on our own half, because further on there are slabs in the water. We went to the pier a couple of times Hotel Grand Captan, we jumped from him =) and no one drove him away. The sea was stormy for a total of 4 days during the entire holiday period, after the rain. The rest of the time the sea was magnificent.
It’s worth writing separately about Hammam... it’s some kind of miracle. 20 dollars and you're in heaven.
Pool. I wish it was heated. the water is cold, but we are not particularly upset, since we came to the sea, and not to the pool.
Animation. practically absent. in the evening the girl Fatma comes and holds a mini-disco with the children, the repertoire of songs has not changed over the entire time. Then they play the same songs, there is no youth music. Several times there were competitions, not all of them attractive, apparently designed for people prepared with alcohol. Alcohol is generally normal - beer from kegs, red wine, gin and vodka from glass bottles, undiluted. Carbonated drinks - Pepsi, Sevenap. Cocktails are available for a fee.
About infrastructure. Nearby there are ATMs, supermarkets Migros and Sok, 2 pharmacies, shopping shops, rental of bicycles, electric mopeds, cars. There is a bus stop nearby, 15 minutes and you are in the center of Alanya. Travel 4 liras per person, children free. My advice is not to take the bus into the city on weekends in the evening; getting back, or rather, getting on the bus in the center will be very problematic.
We rented bicycles for a day, the cost was 30 liras per person and plus 20 liras for renting a child's bicycle seat. We rode them to the center, to the main market, then to the pier, climbed the fortress, in general, we drove around quite a bit. We also rented a car and drove independently to the Sapadere waterfalls, to the village of Gazipasha (there good beaches). In the evening we went to observation decks and in shopping mall Alanium. Car rental - 25 euros.
Internet. This is difficult. One phone is free, the other is for a dollar. Wi-Fi is very slow, often lost. We wanted to buy a SIM card at first, but changed our minds. I didn’t want to give 1300.
Weather. The weather in October is beautiful. with sunrise it becomes warm, by 9 o'clock it is already hot, up to 30C. in the evening, after sunset, it is warm, not stuffy. after the rain (we had rain 3 times - in the evening, at night and during the day) it was fresh, the last time we even put on jeans and sweatshirts. but as soon as the sun came out in the morning, it immediately became hot again. the sea is also still very warm, especially from 11 am to 4 pm. Then it was cool for me, I was just sunbathing, but my husband and son did not get out of the water until 6 pm.
In general, the holiday turned out to be great, but this is not the merit of the hotel, since we only slept and ate there.

I stayed in this hotel at the end of June, beginning of July 2015. We bought the ticket in one day, and went on the same day. When choosing a hotel, we focused on the beach and sea, ignoring reviews about the hotel itself. So, I’ll start everything in order, the pros and cons of the hotel and how you can reduce the impact of the cons... During the booking process of this hotel You will need to account for additional costs that will be incurred locally, so add the cost of an in-room safe at $3 per day and the cost of beach chairs at $2 per day per person to the cost of the package. I advise you not to give up sunbeds, because... the quality of the beach where the sunbeds are located is high, as well as the presence of a toilet and shower, and this price also includes free internet on the beach, which can help manywill be needed. Those who refuse to pay for sunbeds will have to lie on the sand among the rubbish left by vacationers, on the outskirts of a well-kept beach. You can refuse the above options. Check-in at the hotel is quick, but we observed in July, when a large number of vacationers arrived, the hotel sometimes placed them in another hotel for a day. There is a Russian-speaking girl Zhanna at the reception, contact her with any questions you have, she will solve them with pleasure. If you do not like the room, if there are rooms available, they will replace it for you, as they did for us. Room: the room is not large, the living area is about 15 square meters, there is a balcony. Rooms are available with sea and mountain views. For those who like silence, I advise you to take a room with a view of the mountains and preferably above the 6th floor (there are 9 in total). The room has air conditioning, hairdryer, TV and minibar. The bathroom has a bathtub. We had a problem with the toilet flushing in our room, the flush was weak, we solved the problem with the help of a shower faucet. In the rooms in the first half of the day, instead of hot water, there is warm water, as I noticed, the higher you live, the hotter your water. In the bathroom, near the bathtub and washbasin, there are dispensers with soap and shower gel, but I advise you to take shampoo with you, or better yet, buy it directly in Turkey. In most hotels in Alanya, hot water is heated on the roof of the hotel using solar panels . In the linen room you are provided with two face towels, two body towels and one towel as a bath mat, no slippers or bathrobes. Rooms are cleaned every day, usually around 1-3 p.m., towels are changed once every two days, linen is changed once a week. The room has one wardrobe in the hallway and two bedside tables. TV with two Russian channels (Russia 24 and music channel). There is also a small minibar. There are no drinks, but upon arrival you are given two one and a half liter bottles of water, which can then be refilled at the pool or in the restaurant from the cooler. I also advise you to brush your teeth using this water, and not tap water, given my travel experience, do not complain about stomach upsets later. Restaurant: I would like to note right away that the restaurant is quite stuffy and for this reason it is better to take a seat by the window at the entrance. Meals at the hotel are served in the restaurant located on the ground floor. To avoid a situation where the entire range of the restaurant is available, I advise you to come for lunch and dinner before the opening of the restaurant, because... There were cases when, towards the end of the restaurant’s work, its menu became very poor. I would like to warn you right away that Alanya is not a farming region and for this reason the main diet consists of poultry dishes, lamb and beef are quite rarely on the menu. I advise lovers of these dishes to choose expensive five-star hotels, but the prices for them will be appropriate, which I think is not rational for Turkey. So, the diet usually consists of a couple of hot dishes, one of which is most often chicken or turkey, the second can be various dishes with soy meat sausages. The side dish will not differ in variety; it can be pasta, stewed potatoes, beans or mashed potato powder. There is a good variety of vegetables and fruits. There were tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, watermelons, apples and oranges every day, and there were also melons. There are cheeses, sausages and very tasty baked goods and confectionery. I want to immediately warn vacationers with children that the hotel has no juices at all, what is served from the vending machines are powdered juices, there is Fanta, Pepsi Cola and Sprite, as well as good Tuborg beer (I checked it myself, it’s really real), wine and of course strong drinks , including Turkish raki. Alcohol in the hotel is not diluted, it is poured directly from bottles that are opened in front of you, this was pleasantly pleasing, given my previous experience in Turkey. You can’t take food out of the hotel, but we took fruits and watermelons with us and no one bothered us. I would like to note that there were dirty dishes in the restaurant, but when the staff’s attention was drawn to this problem, the issue was resolved instantly. Sometimes there are problems at the hotel, but instead of hurling abuse at the staff, I advise you to contact this staff. All our requests regarding problems to the staff were heard and the problems were eliminated in the shortest possible time. I have never met a hotel without problems. The restaurant also has so-called "evening soup", i.e. You can eat hot soup in the restaurant from 23-00 to 23-30. Hotel infrastructure: The hotel has a small area on which there is a swimming pool with a slide (the children really liked it), a pool bar and a small area at the bar with tables. At this location there is a small stage where you can play table tennis for free during the day. There is also a Turkish bath with various treatments. For those who are in Turkey for the first time, I advise you to definitely visit it. There are sun loungers by the pool, but their number is not large, so I advise you to reserve them in advance. On the ground floor there is a small shop where you can purchase various holiday-related products and souvenirs. There is also a company selling excursions. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a lobby bar, which is a hall with sofas (the bar itself does not work). You can sit on these sofas and surf the Internet. The Internet password can be obtained at the reception. Entertainment at the hotel: The hotel has animation, which mainly works with adults (various games and pranks). I didn’t see any children’s animation as such, except that in the evening there were children dancing with the animators for an hour. Beach: The hotel's beach is located across the street. You can get to it by leaving the hotel on the main street and walking left to the underground passage. I would like to note that sunbeds on the beach are paid. The location of the sunbeds is clean, and beach staff monitor the order and security of vacationers. The beaches in Turkey are municipal and you can easily go to any beach of any hotel, pay money for a sunbed and stay almost anywhere. Some guests took a bus to Cleopatra Beach, which is located in the center of Alanya. The hotel's beach is one of the most spacious and smooth. The beach is sandy, but when you go into the sea there are pebbles that are washed out of the sea. For guests who are particularly sensitive to unevenness, I advise you to take coral slippers with you; if you don’t have them, you can purchase them on the spot; this will add greater comfort to you both in the sea and when walking along the shore. I advise you to take a walk to the left of the sea, after walking about three hundred meters you will get to the beach of a five-star hotel located right in botanical garden. There is a bar on the beach, drinks, fruit and ice cream are paid for, but the prices are reasonable and not comparable to our bars. Excursions and shopping: I advise you to purchase excursions from your tour operator, because... purchasing an excursion on the street does not guarantee you quality, and most importantly safety. I advise you to choose excursions at home, carefully rummaging on the Internet. Shopping is a separate and significant part of a trip to Turkey, because Turkey is Europe's largest production resource in the clothing section. I would like to immediately note that trips to various textile factories and leather goods stores that tour operators offer you will cause you nothing but disappointment in price, because the price of the goods includes the tour operators’ commissions and all these tours are a waste of time. Not far from the hotel there is a good market where you can buy various fruits (cherries, melons, etc.), as well as a large number of Turkish textiles. The market is open on Mondays and Thursdays (the market is open during the day until 18:00), you can find out its location from Zhanna at the reception. If you decide to go shopping in Turkey on a grand scale, then I would advise you to go to locality Kanakly. There is a huge Turkish market where you can buy any goods, from T-shirts and jeans to good leather jackets. The market is open in the evening after 17:00. I would like to note that the quality of leather jackets in Turkey is very high, because the famous houses of Gucci and Dolce Gabana sew jackets here, the leather is mainly lamb. You need to find a good leather jacket store. I liked the leather jacket store in the Kanakli market called Appachi, where I immediately bought five jackets. I will say right away that anywhere in Turkey you need to bargain and the price that was originally announced to you is inflated in advance by at least 30%. Getting to the market in Kanakli is not difficult. You need to take 1 or 2 buses from the hotel (fare 2 Turkish lira per person) and get to the bus station located in the center of Alanya, you can ask the driver to show you where this station stops. At the bus station you need to change to a bus to Kanakli, it will indicate Alanya-Kanakli (fare 2 Turkish lira per person). You can ask the driver to tell you when the Turkish market will be. To summarize: the hotel is a good three, has its pros and cons, and is one of the highest quality budget options In Alania. Despite the presence of disadvantages, the hotel staff tries to quickly eliminate them. If you have high demands for vacation, I advise you to choose a more expensive hotel, but if you come to relax on a budget and primarily spend time at sea, then this hotel will suit you.

Tourist reviews of the Blue Camelot Beach Hotel

Review written by Anna May 26, 2018.

The hotel is far from 4 stars; it would be a stretch to give it 3 stars. We rested in May 2018, the fact that there are only Russian pensioners in the hotel speaks for itself, they are not picky people, many came for the first time and they are happy about it. Yes, this is a budget hotel, but then you write 3 stars, not 4, pita is all inclusive, but this is not true, there is almost nothing to eat, yes there are vegetables, but the meat is a real problem in a week, they gave 2 times fish, once chicken, the rest is deep-fried semi-finished products, and only one type of hot one, there were fruits, but why give rotten fruits is unclear, check the box that they are there, in general it’s strange with the diet, but there was alcohol, you won’t drink wine (the bartender told me how to make wine tasty, you need to add it Sprite?), the beer is still tolerable, the coffee is automatic and the cheapest, often running out of something...

I spent a week in May 2016 at this hotel. I chose a budget hotel. It is located quite far from the airport. Not a 4, the service is average, the staff doesn’t speak Russian, the food is good for my taste, but it’s often cold and very monotonous. But the room was cozy, with a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning and two large beds. Although why would I need two beds alone). Towels were not provided often. The only thing that pleased me was the sea, clean, warm, sun loungers and various excursions. I'm not a fan of lying on the beach, I love it leisure. During the trip, I made an exciting rafting trip down a mountain river on rubber boats. Unforgettable impressions. I visited Sapodere Canyon, in a jeep, you can swim in the waterfalls, but the water is very cold, a couple of minutes was enough for me. And a jeep safari around Alanya. N...

We went on vacation in September 2015. We checked in quickly, but the Russians are given rooms on the lower floors, the hotel is located near the highway, the noise is terrible! We asked for another room and were quickly provided on the other side. The view was of another hotel, where music was playing all night and colored lights were flashing. It's just terrible, it's impossible to sleep. About the food: there is no meat, they gave one chicken leg on one plate, all the sweets were made from semolina, the vegetables were sometimes, to put it mildly, not fresh, fruits: watermelon, nectarine and that’s it. The wine was good, but the vodka was watered down. We practically never stayed at the hotel, we came to spend the night, but it was not possible to sleep... it was very noisy. They were cleaned once a week, towels will not be changed until you tell us and pay.

Hello everybody! This is my first time leaving a review, I was looking for a hotel myself and decided to help people too. I’ll say right away that the hotel is not for old-timers. We were on vacation together with a friend at the beginning of August 2015. Now, in order. 1. We arrived from the airport at half past 11 at night, checked in only at half past 6 in the morning. I immediately offered to have a snack in the kitchen, since at that time the late dinner (we ate puree soup and drinks) was delicious, just after the road, just the thing for friendliness +. The receptionist refused to take money as a bribe, saying that he would give a good room even without money, just wait for the guys, since eviction is underway and the rooms need to be cleaned. In principle, it turned out to be true, while we were waiting for our room, we got to know the whole hotel with young people, although there were very few Russians, mostly Germans, a couple of Englishmen, Poles, there were people from Russia in the whole hotel...
