The Aqua Sferra water park was opened. Starting tomorrow, all attractions will be open to everyone who meets the standards prescribed in the rules. In particular, the use of attractions is prohibited for persons whose weight exceeds 120 kg.
The opening ceremony was hosted by the famous Russian TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev. The mayor of Donetsk, Alexander Alekseevich Lukyanchenko, also gave a speech of congratulations. In addition to congratulating and cutting the symbolic red ribbon with scissors stylized as snakes, he also held a ceremony of awarding diplomas of the Donetsk City Council and memorable gifts to a number of people who distinguished themselves in the construction of the water park.
In his speech, the mayor emphasized that all the wishes of the city council were taken into account, and no money was allocated from the city budget for construction. VIP guests, who were fenced off from journalists and ordinary invitees by security guards and a red ribbon, were shown on the screen short video, showing the progress of construction of the structure. After this, a select group went to sightseeing tour, to which representatives of the administration were not allowed most of journalists who came to cover the event.
At this time, guests were invited to watch the synchronized swimming performance and watch the first lucky ones who demonstrated the capabilities of the slides and attractions.

The water park starts operating on December 22, 2012 and will be open every day from 10.00 to 22.00.

During the construction of the dome, modern materials and technologies were used, and all safety measures were observed.
