Weekend cruises departing from Moscow are the most popular among Muscovites and guests of the capital. This is due to their short duration, lack of need to book a vacation, and relatively low cost compared to multi-day flights.

Weekend cruise destinations:

From the north river station Moscow:

From the southern river station:

Cities more distant from Moscow are not available for three-day cruises. The fact is that all these cities are located on the Volga coast, which is connected to Moscow . Its length is 128 kilometers. On this route, ships pass through a cascade of six locks. And, considering that the ship passes through the canal twice during the cruise, this takes quite long time(usually at night). As a result, the journey to Tver takes about 20 hours, and to Uglich almost a day. It takes approximately the same amount of time for the ship to travel from the Southern River Station to Kantsantinovo.

Departure and arrival times

Ships depart from Moscow for weekend cruises on Friday evenings: at 17:30, 19:30 or 21:30. The ship takes an average of 4 hours to reach lock No. 6, which opens a cascade of other locks, so the ship passes the next locks at night. Passengers are having breakfast against the backdrop of the Volga banks.

The ships usually return back to Moscow at 15:00, 20:00, 22:00.

Motor ships

As a rule, short flights to Uglich or Tver are carried out by two and three-deck motor ships. This is explained by the fact that four-deck ships are used in the St. Petersburg direction. Only double-deck motor ships of the Borodino type go to Konstantinovo, since the depths of the Oka and Moscow rivers do not allow the use of deep-draft motor ships on this route.

Four-deck ships are actively involved in weekend cruises at the beginning and end of navigation.

Cost of vouchers.

The cost of a three-day cruise in a standard double cabin on the middle deck averages from 7 to 14 thousand rubles. depending on the type of ship. This amount includes: accommodation in a cabin, bed and toiletries, three meals a day in the ship's restaurant, entertainment on board, methodological support along the route, excursion program on the shore. For an additional fee: bar, sauna, hairdresser, massage, etc.

See the excursion program of weekend cruises after the schedule.

Dear clients, we provide assistance in obtaining multi-Schengen visas through consulate-General Finland for tourists with permanent residence in the North-West region (except Karelia, Murmansk region, Kaliningrad region).

According to the Schengen rules, Schengen visas should first be obtained from the embassies or consulates of the countries of primary residence. If the main country of residence is another Schengen country, the Finnish Embassy or Consulate cannot issue a visa, even if the trip is in transit through Finland. For example, if you plan to travel by car through Finland to Sweden on vacation, then a visa should be obtained from the Swedish Embassy or Consulate.

Cost of obtaining a Finnish multi visa:

  • 80 euros visa without insurance
  • 80 euros (semi-annual, annual) + 550 rubles. insurance (for 30 days)
If you order a visa without insurance, then to submit documents you must provide the original of your insurance; it will not be returned from the consulate. The insurance must not contain a deductible, must be valid at the time of submitting documents, minimum coverage is 35,000 euros, coverage area is all Schengen states or the whole world. Insurance must be from an insurance company accredited by the Consulate General of Finland.

The Consulate General of Finland allows you to request annual multi-visas only if the tourist has already had a Finnish multi-visa within the last 3 years.

Please note that for those over 70 years of age, the cost of insurance is higher than the standard one.

Increased coefficient for age insurance:

For other ages (including children from 7 to 18 years old), the cost of insurance is standard, i.e. 550 rub.

Accordingly, in order to calculate the cost of a visa with insurance for tourists whose age falls under the criteria of this table, you need to multiply the cost of standard insurance by the corresponding increasing factor and add the cost of the visa to the resulting number.

Documents required for obtaining visas at the Finnish consulate

  • Even if parents have visas, consent is required.

If the child is applying separately from one of the parents, then it is necessary to provide a copy of the notarized consent for the child to travel abroad from the parent unaccompanied by him on the trip. If the child is applying separately from both parents, then consent to travel abroad must be provided from both parents. The consent must contain a phrase about permission to enter and exit “to the Schengen countries, including Finland.” Consent must be valid at the time of submitting documents to the consulate. For example, if a trip is planned from the 20th, then permission to leave is given from the 1st of the same month or earlier, so documents are submitted to the consulate, as a rule, 3-4 weeks before the planned departure date. The Finnish consulate does not accept consent to amendments made, including those notarized.

From 07/01/2011, the Consulate General of Finland also does not accept consent that is more than 1 year old at the time of submitting documents to the consulate.

We also draw your attention to the fact that from January 28, 2011, for notaries, new type print. Please clarify this issue with the notary when registering your consent.

If you have a valid Schengen visa, in order to obtain a new Finnish visa, you must fill out an application for visa cancellation. The first half of the application is filled out in Russian letters, the second half in Latin letters.

Request for cancellation of a valid Schengen visa download

Please note that the Consulate General of Finland does not accept foreign passports with entry/exit stamps covered with visas and stamps from other countries! The laminate of the passport should not depart from the paper base. In addition, a foreign passport may only contain stamps indicating border crossing, issued by customs or border services. If there are any other stamps in the passport, for example, souvenir stamps, the passport is considered invalid by the Finnish consulate.

Since October 18, 2013, a new rule has been in force for calculating the number of days of stay in the territory of the Schengen countries.

Within 180 days, you can stay no more than 90 days in the territory of the Schengen countries: for each day of stay, the previous 180 days should be taken into account. Days on both the current visa and the previous one are taken into account.

The rule of calculating six months from the moment of first entry is no longer valid.

Thus, at the time of crossing the border, the number of days already spent in Schengen territory should not exceed 90 in the last 180 days. For example, a face passes border control 09/13/2013. From this date we count the previous 180 days, resulting in the period from 03/18/2013 to 09/13/2013. During this period, the number of days of stay in Schengen territory should not exceed 90 days. The number of days spent in Schengen territory should not exceed 90 days in the last 180 days, both at the time of entry into and exit from the Schengen countries.

Below is a table to help you count the days used. This table is not an official calculation tool, but only an aid to explain the new Schengen rule.

Day counting calculator (download)

A visa issued by one of the Schengen countries gives the right to visit or short-term stay throughout the Schengen territory. With a visa, you can stay in the Schengen territory for no more than 90 days within six months. For a longer stay, a residence permit is required.

To obtain passports you must provide power of attorney to receive documents or check for payment. The power of attorney must be printed on the organization's letterhead with the signature of the head and seal. The power of attorney must indicate the authorized person and the list of documents that need to be received.
