Children will not be bored in such camps. They will take part in specialized sessions, which will allow them to find friends with similar interests and choose future profession. Here they organize the work of young talents - ecologists, archaeologists, local historians, historians, mathematicians, athletes and others.

Sports and walks with friends

Summer holidays are a great time to spend it in the company of friends. Together, children can have a picnic somewhere in nature (in a park, square or garden) and play war, starting shootouts in hot weather. You can go on a hike to the river, combining it with fishing, or into the forest.

The summer months are the best time to play sports. Such activities have a beneficial effect on health and figure. Moreover, there is plenty to choose from: play football or basketball with friends, go to the pool, do aerobics, athletics, gymnastics, parkour and much more. Cycling is an equally useful and exciting activity.

Activities for home

But summer doesn’t always bring pleasant days, so you need to think about what to do during the holidays at home in bad weather. This is the best time to read interesting books, which will help a teenager broaden his horizons.

Those who like to sit at the computer should try to create their own website or blog, or start mastering graphics programs and applications. Don't forget about hobbies. For example, photography or drawing not only helps develop creativity, but can also generate income in the future.

Also, summer holidays are a time for new discoveries: why not teach your child to play the guitar, sing in a foreign language, roller skating or skateboarding. You can do something with your own hands. For example, weave a bracelet or 3D figures from rubber bands, write a collection of your own poems, about yourself, your family or from your favorite films, etc.

What should a teenage girl do during the holidays? Since they have a lot of free time to take care of themselves, they can practice the correct use of cosmetics, masks, braiding, creating hairstyles and performing a beautiful manicure.

Perhaps the student has already decided what he wants to become in the future, so the holidays are an excellent time to acquire new knowledge and skills. Or this is a chance to decide what he will do in the future, if the choice of profession has not yet been made.

Job

What to do on vacation? Summer holidays are a good opportunity to find a temporary part-time job for a teenager. As a result of such an activity, the child will learn the value of money, he will become responsible, and also learn to be organized. For example, a schoolchild can get a job as a courier, a mass entertainer, or a distributor of leaflets and brochures.

Conclusion

Now you understand what to do during the holidays as a teenager. Try to pay as much attention to your children as possible so that the holidays are interesting, educational, and exciting. The main thing is that the child remembers his vacation for many years. We hope that our advice helped you make the right decision.

Video: ideas for schoolchildren for the summer holidays

In this video, Anna Lopatina will tell you how to spend your summer holidays interestingly and usefully:

Very little time left before the start winter holidays. All schoolchildren - young and old - are looking forward to them. After all, the holidays are a wonderful opportunity to get enough sleep, have fun, go through all the levels of your favorite computer game, lie on the couch and click on the TV remote control. Of course, all parents dream that the holidays will be perfect for their child. maximum benefit. “How to effectively organize a student’s rest during the holidays?” - this question worries almost all parents. From this article you will learn useful practical advice about how to develop the right approach to organizing a student’s recreation during the holidays.

Recreation for schoolchildren

Holidays are a long-awaited time for a wonderful pastime for children and their parents. How can you ensure that your child can profitably enjoy every moment of relaxation? It needs to be organized correctly. You need to clearly understand: the success of his studies in the next quarter depends on how the student spends his time and how he rests. So, the basic rules for organizing schoolchildren’s recreation during the holidays:

  1. We follow the regime. Wake-up and bedtimes, meal times, hygiene procedures: all this must correspond to the age and needs of the student.
  2. We watch our diet. Constant consumption of candy, candy bars and other sweets, soda, and fast food will not bring health to the student.
  3. We are doing sports. Let your child not forget about daily morning exercises, and let games in the fresh frosty air add vigor, strengthen and temper him.
  4. Expanding our horizons. We offer the student interesting books to read during the holidays and visit the library.

We remember that during the holidays the most important thing is to recover from intense studies and prepare the body for the next academic period. And the options can be very different.

Planning your daily routine

When you start planning your child's vacation, first of all, figure out how to make the most of it. Please pay attention to student's daily routine during the holidays. Many parents are concerned about the question: “Should I allow my child to change his usual daily routine during the holidays?” That is, allow you to get up later than usual, shift your breakfast-lunch-dinner schedule, walk time, etc. In this case, everything is individual; parents have the right to choose the child’s daily routine during the holidays. It is best to take an individual approach to solving this issue, because one child normally tolerates getting up early in the morning, while the other has difficulty adapting to all sorts of changes. For children of the second type (most often this applies to younger schoolchildren) it is better to leave their usual routine, which was during school hours. This way we will not disturb the favorable psycho-emotional state of the child. You can simply shift your bedtime a little: for example, by 1 hour. After all, the guys were tired while studying: let them rest.

You can completely abandon strict adherence to the regime: let your plans for the day slightly adjust it. However, the children's sleep time should be maintained:

  • Doctors recommend that younger schoolchildren sleep 10-11 hours
  • children 10-11 years old - at least 10 hours
  • students 12-14 years old - about 9 hours
  • High school students can sleep a little less (8 hours).

"Advice. Let the students get enough sleep during the holidays, because they often don’t get enough sleep during school hours, and this is fraught with neuroses, breakdowns, and depression.”

The child’s body must recover during the holidays - this is the main purpose of rest between academic quarters. This becomes especially important in winter, when the need for sleep increases.

Where to spend your holidays?

There are often situations when there is no one to leave a child at home with during the holidays. It’s good when parents also have holidays or can take a vacation. But what to do if there is no opportunity to spend the holidays with your child? Let's consider the options.

  1. Visiting grandma. Close relatives exist to help us out in difficult situations. A schoolchild under the supervision of his grandmother during the holidays is a good option. You don’t have to worry about nutrition and routine; the main thing now is to offer ideas for leisure.
  2. Prishkolny. There are cases when such camps operate in the off-season, and not just in the summer. Find out about the availability of such a camp at your school.
  3. Tourist trip with class. If the class teacher is also a good organizer, then the children can go on a trip to the sights of the country under his leadership. This is a great way to provide a child with leisure time during the holidays, which will make working parents feel relieved. And the student will learn independence, make stronger friends with classmates, see and learn a lot of new things. Such trips are remembered for a lifetime.

What can you do if you have no one to leave your child with during school holidays (video)

How to spend the holidays at home

If your child is going to be left alone at home during the holidays, then do not forget about his safety: give him instructions, call him more often.

Tell us what he can do at home when you are at work:

  1. Let's do the tasks. Let him read a certain number of pages of a children's book, and retell it in the evening. Let him draw a picture or prepare a wall newspaper on a given topic. Or you can make a craft, collage, applique. Give your child ideas for interesting things to do, and let him sit less at the computer or in front of the TV.
  2. Let your creativity run wild. Provide opportunities for children to be creative. Provide girls with hoops, threads, embroidery patterns, paints, brushes and paper, and boys with a new modern construction set. Let them do it, because new things always spark interest.

Many parents find it easier to sit their child in front of a computer or TV so that he does not whine from idleness. However, not many people know that younger schoolchildren are recommended to spend time at the computer no more than 20 minutes, and older students - no more than 30 minutes. Sitting in front of a screen carries the danger of losing vision, developing poor posture, and poor posture leads to the appearance of all sorts of diseases. Therefore, carefully consider what your child could do while at home.

Learning by playing

During the holidays, unobtrusive development of the child within the framework of the school curriculum will be useful. This is especially true for younger schoolchildren. Organize games and activities with your child during the holidays.

  1. Reading. What you should definitely read during the holidays is a fact. Visit a bookstore or library - let the child choose the book that interests him. Then you won’t have to force them to read.
  2. Mathematics. Create math-focused games for elementary school students. For example, “Treasure” (where you need to count steps and perform simple examples), “Culinary Masterpiece” (where, when preparing a dish, you can practice weight measurements or divide baked buns between guests). Ask your child for help: this way he will feel important and will complete your tasks with interest. Review the multiplication tables by placing sticky notes around the house. Exercises with puzzles, games of chess, lotto and checkers will bring benefits.
  3. Speech development and logic. Communicate with your child, play oral games with him that develop imagination, speech, logic, lexicon.
  4. History, geography, biology, chemistry, physics. Holidays are the best time to plan visits to museums, thematic exhibitions, historical places. The student will, in a completely unobtrusive way, expand his knowledge, expand his horizons, and even become interested in something seriously.
  5. Aesthetic education. Introduce the student to the best examples of music, painting, and folk art. Vacations are a good time to go to an exhibition or concert of the children's philharmonic society, and then speak about your impressions.
  6. Lessons during the holidays. Did you know that homework is given during the holidays? Yes, so that schoolchildren do not lose their ability to learn. It is recommended not to do everything at once, but to complete one lesson a day.

"Advice. Best time to complete assignments according to the school curriculum during the holidays -11-12 noon.Do not overdo it!"

Keep your child interested in learning in natural ways. Don't forget that children need rest.

Let's spend time together

Spending time together will benefit the whole family, especially today - during the disastrous busyness of many parents.

Even if parents are at work during the holidays, they should try to organize evening family leisure: quizzes, joint themed games and walks, a fun family dinner.

Traveling with children

If the holidays of parents and children coincide, then you can go on a trip with your children. Today travel companies offer something for every taste: weekends and two-week tours, hot countries and the delights of the northern regions, Bus tours and cruises, excursions around the native land. You can also organize the trip yourself. To make such a vacation truly interesting, you can come up with a fix idea. For example, we strengthen knowledge in English, studying painting in the museums of Paris, checking out the legends and myths of Ancient Egypt and Greece, etc. Traveling time spent together will bring a lot of pleasure to everyone.

While traveling, expand your child's knowledge and vocabulary. Discuss together everything you saw, did, heard, and were surprised by. Read books on the road - now you can simply download them to your tablet. Give your child thematic tasks based on the impressions he receives: let him make a collage from photos or draw what he saw on his trip.

conclusions

On how productive it will be children's holiday during the holidays, the student’s health status and his positive attitude towards further studies depend. Help your student have a great time during the holidays and you will soon see how happy and cheerful he will be, delighting you with new successes.

Autumn holidays last only a week, and this is far from the best week of the year. It’s slushy outside, my mood is so-so, I want to sleep until lunch, bury myself in the TV and watch cartoons.

But best vacation- change of activity, so don’t waste time and take the holidays into your own hands.

A few rules for a good holiday:

  • In the first two or three days, which fall on the weekend, allow your child to be lazy and do nothing at all. Sleep, eat, get stuck on your tablet, take a walk to the nearest cinema - that’s welcome. Autumn holidays are needed for a break. A few days of seal rest will be just right.
  • Then you need to do your homework in order to forget about them, like a bad dream, until the end of the week and not remember every evening that the homework is not done, but time is passing.
  • And only then get serious about having fun.

Where to go on vacation

Don't sit at home. If you can’t get away for a week and go to Russia, spend more time outdoors. When you get tired of collecting leaves and acorns for crafts, come up with something more exciting.

Museums, exhibition centers and theaters are preparing special programs for autumn vacation. In just 10 minutes spent looking at posters, you will create a program for your entire vacation.

Allow your child to choose which events he wants to attend, so as not to drag him out of the house against his wishes.

2. Travel to another city

Flickr.com

A good way to spend your holidays when... hometown everything has already been examined. The main thing is not to choose an excursion to travel agency, but go on your own.

Choose one of the nearby cities, find the attractions you want to visit, book a hotel for a couple of days and go.

Explain to your child how to use city maps, how to navigate unfamiliar streets, how to politely ask for directions and find out where the bus is going. These are even more interesting to study than new museums and exhibitions.

At the same time, you will show your children how to plan a trip, where and how to buy tickets, and what services to use to find a hotel. This will be useful for high school students, especially if they are going to study in another city.

3. Find the deepest puddle in the park

There is no use fighting bad weather, so use it. Fun for younger students: take rubber boots, a stick, a marker and a ruler. Apply markings to the stick and go measure the depth of the surrounding puddles. Write down the results in a special notebook. In this case, each puddle must be sketched.

If you take measurements every day for a week, you will get a finished project that will be useful at school. This will help you look at the slush from a different angle and spur interest in research.

4. Lay out a leaf maze

happyhooligans.ca

On a walk in the park, take advantage of what nature has provided and create a labyrinth out of leaves. You'll do a great job at first to make an interesting path. Then the children will have a great time playing with it.

5. Ride a horse

We're not talking about a five-minute ride in the park, but about a full-fledged lesson in an equestrian club. Horseback riding - active sport, with which you will not freeze in any weather. And getting to know the horses will lift your spirits: the horses are warm, huge, each with a unique character.

6. Take part in a charity event

With older students, volunteer: help organize a charity event, spend a day at an animal shelter, plant a tree, or help clean up the playground. Socially useful work ennobles and provides a lot of interesting experience.

What to do at home

When the rain and wind keep you outside, find activities to keep you warm and cozy. Some people like quiet activities, while others don’t want to sit at the table and assemble yet another craft from leaves and pine cones. For such people there are more interesting entertainments.

7. Organize a board game championship

Flickr.com

Bring out a new board game every night to keep the whole family occupied. Record the results in a table so that at the end of the holidays you can summarize the results and distribute prizes.

Aerobatics is to come up with your own board game, draw cards and write down the rules.

8. Start doing exercises

During the autumn holidays, you shouldn’t go too far out of your routine. After the first days of unbridled rest, you need to return to the working rhythm so as not to go to school completely overwhelmed.

But try waking up your child early during the holidays. It's time to introduce a family routine with some fun music into the daily routine.

9. Have a pajama party

At school, children communicate a lot with classmates, so during the holidays there may not be enough of a team, especially towards the end of the week. Invite your child to invite friends to a pajama party with watching cartoons (or movies, depending on the age of the child), funny and not entirely healthy snacks, and horror stories.

10. Get a pet

Flickr.com

If you wanted, then autumn holidays is the time. The child will have a lot of free time, which he will spend on a new friend, and the animal will be able to adapt to your home within a week.

During the holidays, the child will learn the basic rules of caring for an animal and will be able to integrate communication with it into his schedule.

11. Have a dress-up marathon

This requires a little more imagination than other activities, but the end result is more fun.

Think about what each new day will be dedicated to. For example, Monday - the sea, Tuesday - the sky, and so on. On Monday, put on vests or something striped, assign roles (who is the captain, who is the boatswain) and until the end of the day, communicate as if you were on sailing ship. During the day, have time to scrub the deck, load supplies into the hold (that is, go to the store and fill the refrigerator). At the same time, tell your child everything related to “sea” matters: why watches are needed, why a compass is needed, how to navigate by the stars, and so on.

This marathon can be combined with any other entertainment. Choose exhibitions, cartoons and games on a given topic.

Make costumes from scrap materials. Dressing up helps you quickly immerse yourself in the topic. Don't forget to take photos in your outfits.

12. Prepare new sweets every day

Cookies, pies and everything that will help you get more warmth and energy on autumn evenings. At the same time, teach your child to cook.

13. Make a feeder

Flickr.com

It will soon become very cold, but you will have time to make a bird feeder from anything: wood, a tin can or a plastic bottle. Perhaps it will be useful not only for birds.

Summer holidays - how to spend them fun and usefully?

Let's remember the good old school days and ask ourselves, did we get excited about the numerous assignments we received during the summer holidays?
Solve, for example, a hundred math problems? Plus, a couple of spelling exercises every day? The question is, in general, rhetorical. Often we remembered these ill-fated missions only at the end of the summer and then...
Feverish activity to have something to show for it. So shouldn’t we, dear comrade adults, try to correct the situation – now with our own children? And summer is the most fertile time for this.
1. Once and for all, forgive the child all his terrible sins, far from the best grades on the report card, as well as his rudeness, stubbornness, and laziness. At least this summer, don’t utter the phrase: “Everyone’s children are like children, but I have...” Praise if you deserve it even a little. And just love without hiding your love

2. Talk to him about everything in the world, try to find time for this. Don't brush off the most unexpected children's questions. It is estimated that “why” people are able to ask from three hundred to four hundred questions per day. And what do we sometimes answer them: “Leave me alone!” Shut up! Once!" And then we note with surprise that the child is moving further and further away from us.

3. Even if you stay in the city in the summer, try to go “back to nature” with your child, at least for a short time. Sit together by the lake, walk along forest paths, harvest, if not mushrooms, then pine cones (they, by the way, can be useful in labor lessons). Once upon a time, when meeting Czech schoolchildren, I was amazed by their ability to understand plants native land, knowing every blade of grass and flower “by name” is no worse than car brands. Don’t be lazy and study the literature – on botany, zoology, astronomy. Learn to admire herbs, insects, animals and birds with your son or daughter. Finally, count the stars together. And believe Ushinsky, who wrote, “that a day spent by a child among groves and fields is worth many weeks spent on a school bench.”

4. At the end of every spring, we are never tired of being told from high stands that the summer health of children is a matter of state. We can talk about this for a long time, but we will simply try to carry out this state task on our own. You have to have truly great health to sit for six hours at a desk and several hours for labor lessons. Take pity on your child's spine and finally teach your child to swim. Besides the fact that it’s pleasant, you can’t think of a better prevention of scoliosis.

5. When, if not in the summer, you should take care of a healthy diet with a sufficient amount of vitamins. Give your child only freshly prepared food, not reheated food. Prepare him his favorite dishes. Remember how the Little One from the famous fairy tale about Carlson made his mother’s delicious cinnamon and raisin buns much more tolerable?

6. Let the child finally get some sleep during the holidays. Don't blame him for laziness. Children under 10 years old should sleep 11-12 hours a day. Don't force your child to sleep if he doesn't want to, and don't wake him up in the morning. He will only be cheerful and cheerful if he wakes up on his own. The regime is certainly necessary, but do not become its slaves. Allow your child to sit late with adults around the evening fire (not in front of the TV!). Take him on an overnight fishing trip and let him watch the sunrise with you!

7. If your child is not a fanatical reader, do your best to finally “get it done” this summer. Offer (or just slip) interesting books to him (interesting for him, not for you), read aloud yourself, retell to him the books of your childhood. As a rule, in reading families, children read a lot. To my requests to read less and protect his eyes, my ten-year-old bespectacled son replied: “What is it like not to read? Maybe I won't breathe? Frequent complaints from parents about their children’s dislike of books is a very alarming phenomenon. After all, books often determine fate: “I took the future for myself from a children’s bookshelf,” wrote Prem Prin. There needs to be real books on this shelf.

8. Let your child draw everything he sees around him. Drawing develops the hand, awakens imagination and aesthetic orientation in the world. To an incredible extent, it contributes to the development of the child’s overall brain activity. It gives impetus to creativity in general, to the formation of the artistic principle in any work. Don’t be afraid of dirt and mess - buy your child not only watercolors, but also oil paints - let him create. And markers and pencils should be at hand at any time.

9. Perhaps a lot of time has already been lost, and yet, still... Let your son or daughter make their own bed, wash the dishes, and clean at least their room this summer. Find him or her some, even very simple, chores to do around the house. Let them help in common family work. And you accept their help with gratitude. And don't forget to praise!

10. If possible, take your child to work with you. Let him observe your normal work day. Perhaps then he will realize that money does not appear “in the nightstand” by itself!

11. During the summer holidays, try to limit your viewing of TV shows - keep it to a minimum, even if this means showing some firmness.

12. Play the role of a good wizard - let your cherished childhood wishes finally come true and the coveted roller skates or the coveted turtle “in a box” appear in your house.

13. What about those notorious summer learning assignments for schoolchildren? May the teachers forgive me, but shouldn’t we forget about them altogether. Does an excellent student in school always become an excellent student in life? The great twentieth-century Polish educator Janusz Korczak wrote that no one knows whether a schoolboy gains more when he looks at a blackboard, or when an irresistible force (the force of the sun turning a sunflower) forces him to look out the window. One mother, very obligatory and responsible, always took textbooks with her when she went on vacation with her family and forced her daughter to “play around” with problems and dictations in the evenings. And she was rewarded with her daughter’s persistent aversion to studying throughout her school and college years...
