The most convenient and economical way to travel is the direct bus Budapest - Heviz. It departs from the Nepliget city bus station and goes to the resort center. Next, we take bus 200E, it runs every 10 minutes, the stop is located 50 m from the terminal exit. Before traveling, be sure to validate your previously purchased ticket. Let's go to final stop Kobanya-Kispest and transfer to the metro (travel is still on the same special ticket).

We take the blue metro line 4 stations to the Nepliget bus station, which is located near the metro exit. Getting to Delhi Station is quite easy; next to it is the Deli pályaudvar metro station (red line M2). Around 8 trains depart from Delhi Railway Station every day. Next to Keleti Station is the Keleti pályaudvar metro station (red line M2). There are only 2 trains leaving from Keleti station.

You will also have to get to Keszthely by train with a transfer, which usually takes place at Balatonszentgyörgy station. Having reached Kesztehely, you need to find a regular bus with a sign “Hévíz” or a taxi to the city of Heviz.

Budapest - Heviz: how to get there - this is the question asked by most tourists who fly to the Hungarian capital in order to move to the unique thermal lake. The resort welcomes guests at any time of the year. In summer, the water in the lake is very warm - up to +36 degrees, in winter it cools down to +22. The coldest, windiest and least sunny month is February. At this time, housing prices are at their lowest.

All advertising brochures say that you can always swim in the lake. This is true. But in winter it is not very comfortable to swim out from under a glass cover into an open body of water; the temperature contrast is for the hardened. How to get from the airport to Heviz on your own
