Kemer
Kemer is not as pretentious and not as bright as Marmaris, but it also attracts young people with its clubs. At large hotels Marmaris has its own disco bars, but tourists still strive to get into one of the three best clubs in the resort.
"Aura"- not much inferior to the best clubs in Marmaris, being the most status establishment of the resort. It is located in the very center of the town next to a park and a shopping street. 1. As you already know, there are no sandy beaches in Kemer, only small pebbles. Marsaris is known for its sandy coasts and entry into the water, which in turn is a disadvantage, since the water in the sea is always cloudy and not clear, like in Kemer.
2. A lot of foreigners vacation in Marmaris. There are enough Ukrainians and Italians here, but Russians also vacation here, great amount. If you ask about the ratio of Russians in both cities, then Marmaris wins. for some this will be a positive thing, but for others, on the contrary, they want to meet as few compatriots as possible, at least on vacation in Turkey.
3. Prices for drinks and food in the city are higher in Marmaris. A glass of beer 0.5 in a cafe - min 5L (approx. 100 rubles), a cocktail 7-10 L (140-200 rubles), a bottle of wine in a cafe - 20-30 L (400 - 600 rubles). Prices for clothes and souvenirs are approximately the same in both places.
4. The air temperature is approximately the same in both Kemer and Marmaris throughout the entire beach season. But despite this, the water temperature in Kemer is much higher. It becomes more comfortable and warmer.
Summer in Bodrum begins at the beginning of summer in June, and it is not as hot as in others Turkish resorts. Even in July and August, the air temperature rarely rises to +30°C and therefore the heat will not bother you. It can also be very windy here, since the resort is located on a peninsula that juts out strongly into the sea. Therefore, parents with small children prefer to go to “hotter” resorts in Turkey.
