I enjoy traveling! New countries, new, unexplored places... my passion! And there are no limits to this except for the travel budget!
This time our choice fell on the stunning and colorful spanish city Barcelona. After looking at possible tours online, we settled on a tour operator Biblio Globus, who offered a trip to the land of paella and sangria for an amount acceptable to us.
The carrier turned out to be Rossiya Airlines, a subsidiary of Aeroflot.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The departure from Vnukovo was supposed to be at 03:25, but was delayed by 45 minutes due to the plane’s unavailability.
The departure from Barcelona was scheduled for 09:25, but 2 days before departure it was postponed to 16:45 (Why Thanks a lot, we managed to swim in the morning!)

The flight is carried out on a Boeing 747 aircraft, a huge double-decker aircraft that can accommodate 512 people! This is my largest plane in the history of flights.

It's interesting though The queue to board the plane itself was quite long. In Vnukovo we stood for about 40 minutes, since there was only one person working; in Barcelona we did not stand, since at El Prat airport the flow of people was regulated by passport control, which, for reasons unknown to me, was located after inspection areas and duty free.

People forgot themselves and walked there, and then suddenly found themselves in only 4 working passport control windows...

PRE-REGISTRATION

Pre-registration was available for the flight, and we jumped at the opportunity to reserve our seats. As elsewhere, seats with more legroom, seats on the upper deck of the plane and some others are paid.

We reserved seats in row 33. A very successful series! Considering that the seating on the plane is 3-4-3, it can sometimes be noisy. Therefore, we chose seats near the stairs to the second deck and flew without seven neighbors on the right!

What can I say... The plane is not new, as evidenced by non-working remote controls and screens. Honestly, I’ve never looked at them, but I like to watch the flight map.

There were no air conditioners, lights that you could turn on yourself, or buttons to call the flight attendant.

Legroom is really limited, but if you are of average height, this will not cause you any discomfort.

FOOD ON BOARD

A friend flew away before me, wrote that she only got fish, but she flew in row 44. When we flew from Moscow, we were offered chicken or fish; on the way back, in addition to fish, there was also beef, but it didn’t reach us, which is quite strange, because there are 77 or 78 rows on the plane....

FLIGHT Crew

Liked it! Everyone was very friendly, regularly checked whether seat belts were fastened, and were polite and friendly.

In the title of the review, I promised to tell you about the emergency that occurred during the flight from Barcelona.

As I already wrote, for some reason passport control was after duty free and restaurants, and for some reason people forgot about it, after which they ended up in line.
And now, we are sitting on the plane, there are about 5-10 minutes left before departure. But we saw how many people were behind us at passport control, so we knew we would be delayed.

But then something unimaginable happened. Since we were sitting almost emergency exit, which was also the entrance to the plane, we saw the whole picture. So...

A middle-aged woman with a child flies into the cabin of the plane; it is clear that she is scared or even hysterical. A few seconds later he flies after her and airport worker, starts to conflict with her English language And ask to leave the plane. I won’t go into too much detail, I’ll get to the main thing - as it turned out, she was late for her flight, the guy asked her for a boarding pass (I don’t know why, but it’s unlikely for confiscation), but she snatched it out of her hands and ran away!!!

And ran to the plane. The showdown has been going on for half an hour, but there is no progress - The woman became even more hysterical, she stopped listening to both the flight attendants and this guy, and also got involved in a conflict with him, which was her second mistake. He was about to call the police, but then one of the flight attendants was able to at least calm the woman down a little and offered her to be a translator. While they asked the woman to go out into the “sleeve,” another 15 minutes passed, because this time she was afraid that the plane would fly away without her...

Honestly, I couldn’t look at it anymore, and I couldn’t listen either, so she went to the other end of the ship. When I left, I heard that the pilot had also gotten involved in the case, calling Russia and finding out something.... When she returned, the woman was already on the plane, but entry into the Schengen countries, as I understood, was closed for her forever.. .

What motivates people in such situations? Why are they running from airport employees? The world is full of mysteries.

But the crew showed their best side!

CONCLUSION:

Overall, I enjoyed my flight with Rossiya Airlines. We were prepared for the fact that charters might be delayed, so we were not very surprised, and for this I I'm taking off half a point.
I'll take off the second half point for a broken table and for just one employee scanning boarding passes in the departure area, due to which there was a long queue.
Nutrition was normal flight attendants liked it and takeoff and landing were soft.
We were scheduled to have an early flight back, but luck was on our side and we left after lunch. Thanks to the occasion.
