Another fact seems strange: the Titanic's lookouts didn't even have binoculars. The binoculars were in the safe, the keys to which were in the possession of Second Mate Blair. But shortly before departure he was fired, and he took the keys from the liner with him. The night of the tragedy from April 14 to 15, 1912 turned out to be moonless, but starry. However, the sailors were unable to see the iceberg. Experts believe that it was a so-called black iceberg. One whose underwater part is undermined by currents, causing it to capsize over time. The surface has a transparent side that reflects the stars. He was noticed too late. The order was to reverse, but it took a long time to restart the huge propellers. Water quickly filled the internal compartments of the ship. As a result, 2.5 hours after the collision, the ship broke up and sank at an incredible speed of 40 km/h. The impact on the ground was so strong that fragments of the hull were scattered over a radius of 600 m.
Hundreds of people swam in the icy water. Some passengers died immediately, others slowly died from hypothermia. As a result, out of 2224 passengers and crew members, 729 survived.

As for modern entertainment and communications for passengers, according to some sources, Wi-Fi coverage will be provided on the liner.
However, there is other information in the press: Palmer allegedly wanted passengers to be deprived of the Internet and television in order to be completely immersed in the atmosphere of the early 20th century. Passengers of the new Titanic will be able to try on the outfits of the last century, which will be provided to them on board. The class of cabins will also remain unchanged - as in the legendary ancestor, the modernized version will have three classes located on different decks.
