Azalia hotel spa 4 Bulgaria. Azalia Hotel Balneo & SPA – Reviews. What is personal data

We went to this hotel with our 2-year-old daughter in July 2008. Let's start in order. Basically, I got there by accident because... I was going to another hotel “Marina” on a sunny day, but when the tour operator picked us up from the airport, late at night due to a flight delay of 4 hours, he brought us to this hotel without saying a word. And when we unloaded from the bus, we were told that there were no places in that hotel, so you will live here. Naturally most of I started to get indignant and they told us to come tomorrow at lunchtime and we’ll see...

We visited from August 1 to August 15, with children aged 4 and 7 years. I liked it very much. Yes, there are both pros and cons. But perfect for kids! The staff is very attentive and efficient, and EVERYONE is very friendly towards children! (From the reception to the SPA) The SPA is wonderful! The sea is wonderful, clean, the entrance is excellent, you can’t drive children out of the sea (you can’t drive salty water out of Turkey) And in general, Bulgarians are hospitable people! The only thing at this resort is the MARINA restaurant, so you shouldn’t go there, it’s bad there! And on the contrary...

We just returned from Bulgaria, we were on vacation together with a 4-year-old child, in the Azalea 4* hotel. The hotel is good, well-kept, the rooms were cleaned well, the territory is also clean, BUT..... I would like to say separately about the restaurant. Unwashed plates on which there are leftovers of food, and if they are not there, then they are simply greasy, not washed, and glasses, on which traces of the lips of those who had been drinking were visible, disgusted the whole picture of the holiday. Yes...even about the animation - none. Children's room - the same for all 14 days, step to the left, ...

Between the resorts of Golden Sands and the city of Varna is located the most old resort Bulgaria - St. Konstantin and Elena, proud of their hospitality and cordiality. That's where we vacationed in August 2007. The resort is located in a beautiful green park with an abundance of mineral springs, cypress trees, a quiet bay. Silence and tranquility, this place is of course for those people who love silence, or want it. The climate is mild, cozy bays, a wide selection of restaurants where you can enjoy the delights of national Bulgarian cuisine...

Hotel reviews 2007 of the year

Hotel "Azalea" 4* fully met expectations: large modern rooms with good cleaning, friendly staff, surprisingly, the cleaners spoke Russian better than some administrators. Our meals were NV (breakfast and dinner), the food was varied and nutritious, changing dinner for lunch was not difficult, one dinner (we went on an excursion) was even returned to us the next day, minus, like everywhere else at dinner, paid drinks, which not cheap. Large pool, free sun loungers, but...

We visited from August 31 to September 14. I liked the resort, the hotel is also decent, the only bad thing is that at this time there are a lot of old Germans in the hotel. I am writing a review because of our tour operator. It was Turenergoservis and it was terrible, because... From the moment I met him at the airport until almost the end of my vacation, I couldn’t say anything good about him. At the airport we were met by some smart young man with a KIT sign, directed us into a minibus, handed us a brochure with incomprehensible information, and told us that when we arrived in...

I am writing a review based on the latest version, i.e. I just arrived and am writing. I was on vacation with my family (3 people) from July 28, 2007. 15 days. I spent a long time choosing a hotel based on reviews, and the last plus in favor of “Azalea” was the previous review, so I am writing based on that review but with my own “big” clarifications, so read that one first. The impression is that the previous review was written by a man who had never been anywhere before. So. The hotel rooms are ordinary, the bathroom is also ordinary, towels are changed only if you throw them on the floor, as in the bathroom...

We stayed at the Azalia Hotel from June 19 to June 26, 2007 - one day from there - so the review is the most recent and relevant! So - in our unanimous opinion, the Azalia Hotel is the best in the St. Constantine and Helena resort both in terms of location, beach and pools, and interior design, SPA center, food and service!!! So, in order - the hotel is fresh, built in 2004, the rooms are large, well furnished, an excellent bathroom with 3 types of snow-white towels changed every day as well as daily...

My family and I went to this country for the first time, on the recommendation of the tour manager. My family is my husband and a child aged 1 year. We chose this country for 2 reasons - short flight duration, relatively mild climate, which is suitable for a child’s first trip to the sea. I’ll say right away that I know about the general WHO recommendations, which state that before a child reaches 3 years of age, it is not recommended to change the climate zone of residence. but, on the recommendation and permission of the pediatrician monitoring my child, we decided to go to the sea earlier. But, shortly before leaving, I was warned about the danger of contracting rotavirus infection in this country. In addition, repeated negative reviews on the Internet about holidays in Bulgaria attracted attention for the same reason. But it was too late to cancel the trip due to the complete loss of the cost of the trip. We rested at the resort of St. Konstantin and Elena at the Azalea Hotel.
The first thing I didn’t like and didn’t coincide with the tour manager’s advertising at all was the children’s table. According to her, the hotel has a large selection of cereals and soups. They exist, but porridges are not intended for children under one year of age, because... They contain added sugar, a strong allergen for children of this age. It’s good that the cooks in the kitchen agreed to specially cook porridge without sugar for my child. True, “cook” is a very loose concept. Oatmeal, poured with boiling water or hot milk, that's all the porridge.
The second thing I didn’t like was the packs stray dogs running around the hotel and along the beach.
Third, the lack of kettles in hotel rooms. This is the first hotel I visited where the room did not have such a basic household appliance. To prepare formula for the child, we were forced to use common machines in the hotel lobby bar or restaurant. We asked for an electric kettle both at the reception and in the restaurant, but were refused. And this, in my opinion, is not very hygienic, especially in relation to small children. Because vending machines are items of general use that do not guarantee sterility. The hotel management could take this into account since most of their guests are children.
Fourth, 4 days before departure, my child still fell ill with rotavirus, despite all the measures taken by me and my husband to prevent this infection. Namely, immunoprophylaxis with drugs containing interferon, washing and antibacterial treatment of hands before and after eating, before and after visiting the sea and the beach, not eating food on the beach and in places not intended for this, not using hotel utensils, making sure that the child does nothing didn’t put it in my mouth, etc. As a result, for 2 days the temperature was 39.7, constant vomiting and diarrhea, the danger of dehydration, which was avoided thanks to medications taken from home and constant consultation with our pediatrician. The child was taken care of by doctors from the hotel medical center, who were primarily interested in our insurance, which I am not surprised at, rather than in helping the patient. 3 days before departure, I called Nellie, a representative of Solvex tour, asking for the opportunity to change tickets for an earlier flight, received a refusal, quite logical, without complaints about this, and a counter offer to have the child examined by a pediatrician. Naturally, I agreed, since the doctors from the hotel first aid station are general practitioners who do not have much experience working with small children. Nellie promised that the pediatrician would come within 20 minutes, but... the pediatrician did not come in an hour or 2. I didn’t call back and remind her about myself, it was evening, the child fell asleep after a high fever, and if If the pediatrician still visited us at night, it is unknown how this would affect his condition. We independently dealt with his critical condition. Another picture I saw surprised and made me wary - the day before departure, I went to the local pharmacy for additional medications and found a line of similarly ill people, different hotels. We talked, the symptoms are similar, the medications they buy are the same. And the doctors who observed all the sick people, including my child, said that this was a local problem and had been present in this region for a long time.
Later, having met Nellie in the hotel lobby and saying that the pediatrician was not there, which she supposedly was so surprised by, I warned her that we were refusing transfer services to the airport and would use a taxi, as we did not want to put additional burden on the weakened child loading and unloading into and out of the bus and a long detour around all the hotels and collecting tourists, our goal was to quickly and calmly get to the airport. Nelly allegedly agreed and accepted our decision. However, on the day of departure, in our room we received a call from another Solvex representative with a claim that we were delayed and the bus was delayed. I explained to her that Nelly and I had talked and I refused the transfer. She replied that Nellie did not give her anything. What kind of irresponsible representative is this? The pediatrician never came to the sick child, although, as our representative, she could have fully monitored this issue, she did not resolve the issue of transfer, although there was nothing to resolve, just to warn us so that we would be removed from the lists.
On the way to the airport in a taxi, I listened to the Varna news, where I briefly glanced at information about the ongoing problem with the sewage system in the city...
I admit that somewhere there is a shortcoming between my husband and I; we, as parents, tried to provide for everything. But, in my opinion, sending tourists, especially with children, small children, and infants, to a country where there is such a danger is wrong. Yes, this is not an epidemic of plague or cholera, yellow fever or malaria, but the virus is serious, develops quickly in the body, especially in children, and if help is not provided in time, can lead to death from rapid dehydration, and can also have serious consequences subsequently, tk, heat negatively affects the still imperfect nervous system of young children.
I’ll say right away that we won’t go to Bulgaria again. The word “rest” appeared several times in my letter. but you can’t call it a vacation. Once again she concluded that it is much easier, safer and more interesting to travel independently, making a choice in a country, resort, hotel, based on her preferences and the interests of her family, rather than the tour manager’s interest in quickly cramming in “the last places in the hotel” (in her words) .

A few days before arriving in Bulgaria, I went to this site and read reviews about the Azalia Hotel. Some wrote well, some wrote poorly, but the rating was normal and I calmed down. But when I arrived in Azalea I remembered the review “I don’t recommend it to those who have already been to good places on vacation." And so it happened. I’ll start everything in order: Even before arriving in Bulgaria, I contacted the hotel and asked in what currency they would accept my payment, since the price for the rooms was in euros. They told me that in There are no dollars, but they will accept euros, but preferably in leva. What a surprise it was for me when they didn’t want to accept euros and, of course, I had to take a taxi to Varna and exchange euros for leva. , that’s about 14 euros). at 9 am, everyone who came with us has already checked into the rooms!!! We wait... 30 minutes... 40 minutes... We go to the reception, in response: A little more, we wait again... 30 minutes. ... 40 minutes... When will these a little bit end? !!! Somehow there is a difference between “a little bit” and 5 hours!!! We would go for a walk or check into another hotel, anything is better than sitting on the sofa in the lobby for 5 hours. To make it clear, we arrived out of season and almost the entire hotel was free. If it were high season and there were no rooms available, I would understand everything... What can I say about the room. I liked the room, clean, good furniture, two single beds (can be connected), a large and roomy closet, plasma TV (3 channels in Russian), mini bar, bathrobes and towels. Of the minuses: the hairdryer did not work and the iron was in the ironing room on the 3rd floor. I had my own hairdryer. The hotel was almost empty, so there was no line to iron. I really liked the cuisine (buffet). Prepared very tasty and great variety. But as it turned out, they rejoiced early... There was a big holiday in Bulgaria at that time, I don’t know how many days they celebrated it, but we caught it for two days. After the last Bulgarian left the hotel, they began to feed us what we had not eaten during the holidays... It got to the point that the chicken wings simply stank of rottenness, and the porridge was sour, the peels of the sliced oranges had dried out. It also turned out that dinner does not include tea, coffee, jupi (they called it juice), or even boiling water!!! They brought a carafe of water to our table, which stank of bleach, obviously poured from the tap!!! When they started asking the waiters why they couldn’t even have boiling water, they answered without hesitation: “We have a shortage.” Oh my God!!! For 57 euros they can’t even pour me boiling water! !! After complaints reached the hotel management. Azalea personnel attempted to revive. For the last two days, we (10 people from Ukraine and Russia) were well fed and even had tea for dinner. But as they say: The spoons were found, but the sediment remained. The good thing: the hotel is very close to the beach, no, not close, it is on the beach. You leave the hotel and immediately see the sea... The view from the room is gorgeous... There is WiFi in the lobby, not very fast, but there. Room cleaning is good - clean, but there is no shampoo, gel, etc. A cap and bath salts were provided in the room. There is a warm indoor swimming pool with mineral water, a sauna, Gym- it's free. Within a 5-minute walk, there is a store and a bus stop to go to Varna (fare 1 lev, approximately 0.5 euros). Conclusion: - I cannot recommend this hotel!
