We will talk about the additional building of the Welcome Jomtien hotel Beach Hotel, which in travel vouchers is called Welcome Jomtien Beach Place. Cost of living in this building, of course, lower than in general, but the conditions are completely different. I would say that this is a very modest hotel, which will upset those who are planning on relaxing in the main building, so be careful when choosing a hotel. The building is located a minute's walk from the main building, down and to the left along the street leading to the beach. You can use the restaurant and swimming pool in the main building. It’s better to come for breakfast after 9; crowds of Chinese eat at earlier hours. Breakfast is good, although some may not have enough variety. Tea, coffee and fruit are served in sufficient quantities, the dishes are clean. To the hotel pool I'm like thisand didn’t get there because I went swimming on the islands, so I can’t comment on its comfort. There is no reception as such in the additional building; all issues are resolved at the reception in the main building. In my room 206 the electricity went out while the refrigerator and instantaneous water heater were running at the same time. Once I called the repairman, saw that he had simply changed the position of the switch in the switchboard in the corridor, and the next time I did it myself. The room has a comfortable bed, a wardrobe with clumsy hangers, a table with a mirror and something like a chair, a stand for bags, two armchairs, a bedside table with a lamp, a refrigerator, an old air conditioner, a TV and a small table near the window on which I put an ashtray . The lighting is dim. No hairdryer, no kettle. There are also no balconies in the building, but if you are too lazy to go outside, you can smoke out the window, the main thing is to turn off the lights in the evening so that mosquitoes do not fly in. There were plenty of them, so bring repellent. Mosquitoes enter the room through the gap between the door and the floor. There were no other living creatures in the room. The furniture, appliances and interior are not new at all, there is something to complain about, the plumbing was in good working order. Cleaning was carried out daily: they made the bed, changed towels, brought two glass bottles of water (don’t throw away the bottles, they pick them up themselves), wiped the floor. As for the guests, during my two weeks of staying at the hotel, I met only Russian-speaking tourists in the additional building. In general - a very, very modest hotel, suitable for leaving things and spending the night. Things didn't go missing. The location is convenient. Sound insulation is poor: if you go to bed early, loud neighbors returning after midnight will wake you up. When ordering excursions, indicate that they pick you up from the main building; transfer drivers do not know about the hotel branch; they also bring you to the main building. I hope the information will be useful to those who are going to Pattaya. Have a nice holiday!

Normal hotel.
Tour operator Biblio Globus. We flew without any delays or delays, practically no shaking, but! Even with my bedbug height, I couldn’t sit comfortably in the seat, my knees rested against the back of the person in front, and my husband actually pointed his knees obliquely in my direction, it’s very hard to fly for 9 hours in such cramped conditions where nothing can turn. Meetings and support with virtually no complaints. Hotel guide in principle, he’s also normal, a bit harsh, but if you behave with him correctly, he’s very good man it turns out.
1. ACCOMMODATION
We had to wait a bit for accommodation, the process was very leisurely, and after all the flights and long drive (about 2 hours from Bangkok), I really wanted to take a shower and relax. We asked for the number above. They gave us on the 11th floor, but with separate beds :-) but without money.
2. ROOM and SERVICE in the room.
The room itself is quite decent. They cleaned well, the floor, of course, wasn’t washed every day, and the beds were made worse than first-graders, but that’s not the most important thing, is it? But there is a feeling of cleanliness and neatness. The linen is not new, but quite decent.
I'll go back to the beds. If you now say that this is nothing to worry about, then perhaps in some circumstances I will agree with you, but I hasten to disappoint you, moving these beds is unrealistic, they move so quickly as if on snot on the tiles that sometimes you won’t even have time to lie down, let alone about moving :-) But it’s comfortable to sleep, the mattresses are not dead, quite hard.
Water 0.5 bottles per person per day. Bottles in glass cannot be thrown away or taken out of the room, otherwise you will be fined on departure.
Shampoos and soap were brought. There is no hairdryer.
The furniture is old, but alive.
The view from the room, if you don’t look down too much, is very beautiful, looking at the ocean in one direction and the city in the other.
3. NUTRITION.
We have breakfast. Normal. Almost like at home in terms of the assortment: sausages, toast, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, pasta, rice, pancakes with three types of jams, watermelons, pineapples, salted butter, tomatoes, cucumbers. I haven’t eaten anything else from Thai cuisine.
Lunches and dinners took place mainly on the street running from the hotel to the embankment. Eat in them a little carefully. Try not to eat in makashnitsa, poisoning is very common. In general, Thai cuisine is very specific, and you seem to eat it, and you think that tomorrow I won’t eat it. But tomorrow comes, and you go and order the same tom yam (I highly recommend it for those who are new to it), it’s all like a drug.
4. STAFF and SERVICE.
The cleaning ladies are, in principle, more or less normal, although they set them up. Two days before departure, after the room was cleaned, the ashtray mysteriously disappeared, and naturally, upon departure, we were told that we had to pay 60 baht))) as they say, from a black sheep, even a tuft of wool.
although on the day of the “disappearance” there was even a request to the reception (since the situation was so predictable and obvious). a young couple paid for a water bottle)))) someone was lucky enough to pay for pillowcases and towels stained with hair dye))) since I’m already a scientist in this matter, and I know that they wash with water so hot while it was running through the pipes to the washing unit, as long as the sun managed to warm it. I bought a maid in China towel at the local market in advance, although I overlooked this moment, but I saw 100% cotton))))) yay. Well, you probably realized that 100% Coton is a Chainovsky joke))))) take it into service if anything...
The receptionist doesn't understand anything. In the dining room there are only really normal employees, everyone stands at their dishes, smiles, greets, the chef is right there, the waiters are trying to tidy everything up, although the general condition of the dining room is very shabby.
5. HOTEL and its TERRITORY.
Contingent: half Russian, half Chinese. You need to be prepared for the latter, so as not to get upset and tense for those who are with them for the first time. There are many of them, moving exclusively in noisy flocks. They are omnipresent.
6. POOL.
This is a normal pool, there are always places, towels at the reception.
7.BEACH and SEA
In general, I was really very upset because Sea holiday It's just not there. Well, in my understanding, no. beach strip narrow, you can find normal places nearby, but this is also relative, of course. the ocean is dirty, muddy, smelly, but in our village there is a swamp and even better. It's disgusting to swim, even though there is sand. There is, of course, an undoubted advantage, it is alive, there is a lot of all sorts of marine wickedness there, although you can’t really see it, but they catch a lot. We swam on Koh Lang, on almost all the beaches, the situation there is much better, not a bounty of course, but better, although you can only get there by ferry.
8. BEHIND THE HOTEL.
Our vacation was short, so we didn’t go on big excursions. We bought excursions to [deleted by moderator] and explored Pattaya to the maximum. We were in the tropical garden of Nong Nooch, at the crocodile farm, at the Temple of Truth, at the statue Big Buddha, in the park of million-year-old stones, and of course on Walking Street. We also attended the Coliseum show and Peep Show (such an abomination, ugh, our strip show is a hundred times cooler)
AND IN CONCLUSION.
I recommend those who go to Thailand to watch this interesting country, and not sit in a hotel. Apparently, this used to be a very good hotel. I decided for myself that I wouldn’t go to Pattaya more specifically, but I still definitely want to visit Thailand. I hope you found something useful for yourself. Open for questions.
