Timetable of the trolleybus station in Yalta. Crimean trolleybus. Schedule and routes. Is it worth it or not to take a trolleybus?

Friends, hello everyone!

Did you know that you have the opportunity to cut the Crimean peninsula in half on a trolleybus route and enjoy unforgettable views from the window for almost nothing?

Yes, yes, the Simferopol Yalta trolleybus will take you along the most picturesque and longest road. But to find out won't the bars fall off right at the Angarsk Pass? and whether the day will end before you get to the place I suggest in this article.

About all the ways to evacuate quickly from Simferopol airport I told in . Today I will indicate the schedule, prices and location of trolleybus stations.

The trolleybus line project in Crimea had to be developed to replace the failed construction railway. No, they began to lay tracks even before the Second World War, and then after, but dangerous landslide areas did not allow this idea to be realized.

In 1958, a plan was developed to create an intercity trolleybus line, which was successfully implemented. The opening of the trolleybus line Simferopol-Alushta took place in November 1959, and Simferopol-Yalta in June 1961.

Interesting fact: in the 70-80s, trolleybuses to Yalta and Alushta ran at intervals of 2 minutes, and tickets could be purchased at railway ticket offices in Leningrad, Moscow, Kyiv, Riga, Vilnius, Kharkov.

During the crisis, in the 90s, the trolleybus service almost ceased to exist, but everything worked out!

In 2014, trolleybus routes from Simferopol airport to Yalta and Alushta were resumed. During the same period, until January 2017, the trolleybus fleet was updated; new, modern and comfortable trolleybuses, more than 60 of them, arrived.

From April 16, 2018, after the launch of the Crimean Wave airport in Simferopol, city trolleybus routes 17 and 20 (in season) were extended to a new stop public transport in an Aeroport. I wrote more about the new transport interchange at the airport in.

What do we have today

Transportation is carried out by the intercity network of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Crimeatrolleybus”. The length of the Simferopol-Yalta route is 84 km, from the new airport terminal it will be almost 100 km.

Why will it be? Because there are no flights from the New Airport yet, since the final part of the route has not yet been electrified. But launching autonomous trains over long distances is apparently not advisable.

Therefore, today you can go on a trolleybus trip to Yalta or Alushta only from the station in Simferopol - the Kurortnoye bus station. To my questions what? Yes, when? The Crimean trolleybus management is still treacherously silent.

Trolleybuses traveling along the intercity route are low-floor, spacious, with good panoramic visibility and tinted windows. The salon has a warning system, TV and air conditioning.

From Simferopol to Yalta and Alushta

The trolleybus station is opposite bus station "Kurortnaya" At the stop « Train Station» . You will see the cash registers bus service, across the road (pedestrian crossing) there will be trolleybus ticket offices and the station itself.

All schedules in the article are taken from summer season 2018. Follow the changes in 2019 on the official website of Crimeatrolleybus crimeatroll.ru

From the airport to Yalta and Alushta

Previously, trolleybus routes 54 and 55 ran from the old airport to Yalta and Alushta, respectively. At the beginning of 2019, I am not aware of such routes.

On the site crimeatroll.ru/raspisanie-yalta there is mention of 3 flights to Simferopol airport. But most likely they only go to the old terminal.

In any case, they are not on the route sheet. It's time to turn to the program “Looking for You” or ask the audience for help. If someone, somewhere, once rode trolleybus 54 or 55 this year, don’t hide and let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

As soon as the information becomes clear, I will immediately update the article.

And on this moment We have only one option: manually get from the New Airport to the Kurortnoye AS by trolleybus 17 or bus 49/49a and join the passengers in trolleybus 51 or 52.

In general, if you get confused with the routes anywhere in Crimea, here is a website to help wikiroutes.info/simferopol?routes=10323 . I use it myself!

Where else can you get on the Simferopol-Yalta route?

The trolleybus makes many stops along the way, which affects the duration of the route. But this is a convenience, since many tourists or local residents they go not only to Yalta or Alushta. I'll tell you about the main ones.

So, the trolleybus makes stops: in Maryino (a suburb of Simferopol), in the villages of Zarechnoye, Lozovoye, Pionerskoye.

Is it worth it or not to take a trolleybus?

As always, every situation has positive and negative sides, and now we will look at which ones.

Pros:

  • the most affordable type of transport;
  • in the cabin it doesn’t “chatter” or “throw” around corners, like in minibuses;
  • travel time flies by quickly, as colorful landscapes appear outside the window - grape fields, orchards, Mountain peaks, endless sea. Many people simply love to ride this route – it’s like being on an excursion!

Minuses:

  • trolleybuses did not reach the New Airport. You will have to go with a transfer in Simferopol.
  • After a flight, and even in the heat, the road may seem too tiring. Then there is no time for landscapes and beauty;
  • not all trolleybus routes in Crimea are equipped the latest transport. Although their number is minimal today.

For comparison: a bus ticket to Yalta costs about 300 rubles, comfortable bus transport from Fly&Bus the next one from Simferopol airport will cost from 500-600 rubles, a taxi or transfer - from 1400-2200 rubles.

Also in pre-war years It was planned to build a railway to Yalta, but due to the presence of many landslide areas along the sea, it was decided to curtail plans for the construction of the railway and direct forces to build an intercity mountain trolleybus line. As a result, already in 1961, a connection was opened between the railway station of Simferopol and Yalta, which still operates to this day.

At the moment there are 3 intercity routes of the Crimean trolleybus + aeroexpress:

  • No. 51 Simferopol railway station - Alushta

Crimea trolleybus schedule updated on April 4

There are trolleybuses in several places in Crimea major cities, the most popular route is the trolleybus connection between Simferopol and the South Bank. The trolleybus route starts from the Simferopol airport and railway station and ends in the vicinity of Yalta, passing along the way the villages adjacent to Simferopol: Perevalnoe, Alushta, Alupka, Nikita and Yalta itself. There are several routes in this direction. Every year for a while holiday season the number of flights is increasing. The route Simferopol - Yalta is a unique phenomenon not only within the Crimea, but throughout Europe and the world. This is evidenced by the monument to the trolleybus in Crimea on the Angarsk Pass. The Crimean trolleybus line is the longest, its length is 84 km, and if from Simferopol airport, then all 96 km. The route was opened more than half a century ago. The first trolleybus went to Alushta in 1959, to Yalta a little later - in 1961.

For many years after the opening of the route, the trolleybus was not just a means of transportation, but also an attraction. Crimea trolleybus schedule 2019 2018: suburban routes

Suburban routes are simply a salvation for residents of villages closest to cities. Constant and regular transportation guarantees getting to work or school on time. Also, trolleybus transport in Crimea is quite economical; travel will cost half as much as by bus. Another advantage is the presence of stops on suburban routes and the large capacity of this type of transport.

In Crimea, there are five flights connecting cities and villages on the Simferopol - Yalta route. All flights have their own schedule. All routes have thought out interchanges in each locality. Among suburban routes Simferopol - Perevalnoye is especially popular: 21, 22, 23 flights pass along this route. In Simferopol, each of them has its own final stop - the railway station, Central Market, Freedom. The route is needed as local population, and for tourists. The system of urban and intercity electric transport on the Crimean peninsula - the Crimean trolleybus - has existed since 1959. The routes of Crimean trolleybuses pass through the picturesque South Coast, connecting the series settlements. Along the route there are sights of Crimea. Since Soviet times, independent tourists have appreciated the advantages of such a budget-friendly way to travel around Crimea.

The Crimean trolleybus connects Simferopol with Alushta, Gurzuf, and Yalta. Some routes are served by trolleybuses with autonomous operation. The trolleybus fleet of Crimea is striking in the presence of simply rare models. There are really not new, very not new trolleybuses. Rather, this is a legacy of the Ukrainian government; they simply did not allocate enough money. But nevertheless, the “old people” still travel. I don’t know if this can be seen somewhere else?

The length of the intercity trolleybus route in Crimea is 84 km, from the airport - 96 km.
