Educational toy library

Guys are inquisitive people!.. In the summer they not only run and jump, but also try to learn something useful and interesting. The doors of the Central Inter-Settlement Library never tire of opening and closing... Readers, both small and large, come and go for books: some with lists of literature assigned for the summer; who decided to spend their leisure time doing educational reading.

And librarians try to make it interesting for their beloved readers, so that they come to the Book House with pleasure. That’s why competitions, meetings, and various fun activities are offered to boys and girls. And on July 5, the Children’s and Youth Department of the library hosted a toy library “In 90 days of summer - around the world,” which was prepared by librarians N.V. Aksenov and M.M. Tsepkova.

Everyone loves to travel! And travel can be very different. Librarians offered the children a trip across countries and continents with books and their favorite writers. The purpose of the event is to interest readers, expand their reading circle, introduce them to literary names that are new to them, so that during the long ninety days of summer they can visit old France together with “The Three Musketeers” by A. Dumas, and get acquainted with distant America, taking part in the adventures of the heroes of M. Twain and F. Cooper, and even visit the distant North, where brave heroes from the works of J. London live.

The toy library participants listened with interest to the librarians' advice, answered questions, and talked about their favorite books.
