Business class on an Emirates A380 aircraft. Diamond Airbus A380: Emirates Airlines raises the bar of luxury to new heights (5-star video) Emirates A380

", an aviation company from the UAE, has in its fleet 38 of the largest passenger airliners in the world. They can be divided into two interior options, which are very similar.

Let's look at the interior layout of the A380, which is more common.

It includes 14 closed First Class cabins (1-4 rubles), 76 Business Class seats (6-26 rubles) and 399 Economy seats (43-88 rubles).

The Airbus A380 aircraft has two full floors. The first floor of the Emirates aircraft accommodates business and first classes.

Upper deck

Lower deck

A couple of general points about the seat arrangement in the Boeing 777-300ER - their disadvantages and advantages.

1. The seats that are located next to the window have the advantage that you can look out of it during the flight (this, of course, depends on the flight time and weather). If you fly at night, this advantage does not count. Also, your neighbor will not bother you if he wants to get up. These places have one drawback - it is not very convenient to leave it yourself. Therefore, if you don’t need to go to the toilet often or you intend to sleep through the entire flight, choose seats by the window.

2. The seats located near the aisle have their own advantage - it is very easy to get up from if you need to go to the toilet. The disadvantages are that a neighbor may be disturbed if he needs to get up. Flight attendants with trolleys and passengers who walk through the cabin to the galley and toilets can also interfere. Therefore, if you are flying with a child and, most likely, you will have to go to the toilet often. Or you yourself need to go to the restroom more often, then choose from the edge of the seat.

1-4 r. - first grade. It’s hard to imagine anything more comfortable than in these places. Each seat is a small individual compartment with a door. The seat reclines 180 degrees, there are sockets, a large monitor, Internet, minibar and individual lighting. VIP passengers are provided with showers, an exquisite menu, and service at the level of a five-star hotel. But even here there are places that are worse than average. 1 and 4 r. located closest to the bar/kitchen and toilets. On night flights, constant lighting of technical rooms and extraneous sounds coming from there can interfere with restful sleep.

6-26 rub. - Business Class. Here, Emirates also has everything in order - very comfortable seats: an individual chair that can be transformed into a bed. But even here there are places where comfort is a little underestimated. These are the rows where the kitchen, bar, and toilets are located. There is a constant stream of people coming to the bar both at night and during the day. The same goes for toilets. If you want to sleep and relax peacefully, do not choose those places that are marked in yellow.

Let's move to the lower deck, where economy class is located. There are 399 places in total. Each seat has its own screen and video/audio entertainment system. Personal USB ports are provided for charging sockets and connecting to the Internet. Internet is paid on planes. The distance between the rows is slightly more than 80 centimeters.

43 rub. - due to the placement of the wall, increased space for knees. In addition, no one will recline the chair back. But there are disadvantages, maybe even more significant for some than the advantages. The armrests are locked, which is typical for the first row. Nearby there is a staircase leading to the second deck; under it there is a technical room for flight attendants. There are lights on throughout the flight and stewards and stewardesses walk around. There are also toilets nearby, which passengers access around the clock. The sound of the magnetic clasp opening and closing, blocking passage to the upper deck, may also disturb you during an overnight flight. Very hectic places.

45 rub. - increased free space for knees and legs.

54A and 55A - a video/audio entertainment server is located under the seat in front. There's a little less legroom.

65, 66, 78, 79 rub. - the seats in these rows have limited backrest reclining capabilities. Also, the proximity of toilets is always unsettling.

67 and 80 rub. - additional free space for legs and knees. We also note that there are 2 chairs in a row. This is very convenient for traveling as a couple. But there are toilets nearby: bustle, walking, queues.

68, 81, K, A- very comfortable places due to the missing chair.

82 rub. - increased free space for legs and knees.

87 rub. H, C- will pass by to the toilets. They may step on your foot or hit you with your elbow.

88 rub. - the last row. The backrests are blocked, the stairs and toilets are close. The most uncomfortable and disturbing places. Register here at worst.

Ask an airline employee for advice

If possible, carefully study the diagram of the airliner you will fly on.

Do not take seats where the seats do not recline or are limited in their ability to do so.

Do not take places near toilets, kitchens and other technical rooms at the very end.

Airbus A380, Lufthansa
Welcome aboard the world's largest passenger airliner, the Airbus A380, one of best airlines! What does the A380 look like inside? How is the work of the crew on board organized? And absolutely exclusively for my blog - an interview with Lufthansa flight attendant Anna Rodney. A380: Be part of it!

In the report I talked a little about the features of the largest passenger airliner in the world, the Airbus A380, and about its ground services. In this report, I will show what the Lufthansa A380 looks like inside.

The Lufthansa Airbus A380-800 has the following passenger cabin configuration: upper deck - First Class - 8, Business Class - 98, lower deck - Economy Class - 420 seats, i.e. total 526 passenger seats:

The A380 carries 24 crew members: 3 in the cockpit (pilots), 2 senior flight attendants (one on each of the two levels) and 19 flight attendants in the passenger cabin.

The crew boards the aircraft 40-60 minutes before departure and, in fact, 20-30 minutes before passengers board the plane. This time I boarded the flight together with the crew of the Singapore-Frankfurt flight. The first thing that happens in the cabin is a short pre-flight briefing by the crew. The senior flight attendant informs the team about the number of passengers on the flight, introduces the newcomer who will join work on the A380 for the first time, and reports working details. The senior flight attendant this time was a very pleasant and charming woman over 40, who said a very interesting phrase: “Please be extremely polite, attentive and restrained in case of conflict situations, take into account the fact that we checked out at hotel in the evening before the flight (flight at 23.00), and most passengers have been on their feet since the morning and are already tired from the day." She also thanked the crew for their coordinated work on the previous flight from Frankfurt to Singapore, when medical problems arose and were successfully resolved.

The duration of this briefing is 5-7 minutes, after which all crew members go to their workplaces to prepare for boarding the aircraft. The plane arrived at 17.00 and stayed at the airport for 6 hours. During this time, airport ground services carry out technical inspection, cabin cleaning, delivery of food and clean blankets and pillows. The crew's job is to conduct a quick but thorough check before allowing passengers to enter.

Meet Anna Rodney, a crew member who works today in First Class, she is the one who will tell me today and show me how everything happens on the other side.

Anna works as quickly as possible, checking the power load.

A little later, a ground service employee entered the cabin with whom a check was carried out and documents were signed:

And in just 25-40 minutes, passengers begin boarding! I just watched a little from the side - each crew member works as quickly as possible, all actions are brought to automaticity!

Let's take a walk around the salon :)

Economy class:

Of course, the size of the windows is impressive! The portholes themselves are of course smaller than their inner part, but still impressive big size There is.
The cabin is much quieter than other planes. High ceilings and spacious compartments for hand luggage.

Traditional postcard:

LCD screens in the back of the seat in front:

The control panel is located in the arm of the chair, which is inconvenient in my opinion; I constantly touched the volume buttons with my elbow:

The entertainment system is good, but significantly inferior in choice to Emirates and Cathay Pacific:

Business Class:

First grade:

There are only 8 seats, but maximum comfort is created for passengers. Each airline places an order for its own cabin layout; Emirates and Singapore Airlines have shower cabins, a bar counter, etc. on board the A380. The Lufthansa airline took a different path - everything is done for maximum comfort, but without frills, like a shower, for which you need to carry excess water.

However, Lufthansa First Class has its own characteristics: this cabin has an order of magnitude greater degree of cabin soundproofing, although even in economy it is much quieter than in any other aircraft I have flown on. Even in first class, there is increased air humidity, which during a long flight significantly reduces overall fatigue.

The traditional colors of Lufthansa airlines are blue and yellow; the interiors of business and economy class cabins are designed in these tones. In First Class, completely new modern shades are used in the interior - brown, beige. The First Class lounge at the airport is also decorated in the same colors. At Frankfurt Airport, gates with two levels of jet bridges are specially equipped for servicing A380 aircraft. Business and first class passengers already at the airport board on the second floor, enter the business lounge and then immediately onto the upper deck of the aircraft upon landing. This way they don't meet economy class passengers.

The interior covering of the cabin is made of artificial material such as velor leather instead of plaid, pleasant to the touch, thereby creating an additional degree of comfort.

Staircase leading to the First Class cabin:

Welcome champagne:

Bose headphones for First Class passengers:

Chair control panel:

The wall between the seats is individually adjustable.

Each passenger has an individual wardrobe:

Adjusting the window shade:

Spacious toilet, 2 of them in the First Class cabin:

From the flight attendant's point of view, the A380 has much more space and is much more comfortable to work with.

And this is what the cockpit looks like:

There is also a “compartment” with beds for pilots to rest:

And these are crew rest areas. The entrance here is down the stairs from first class - these are individual niche beds.
Depending on the duration of the flight, the rest time is distributed - after the end of the first stage of the service. On this flight, each flight attendant had a break of 3 hours and 45 minutes, which is relatively long, sometimes even 45 minutes; the rest of the time they were on their feet.

Here's a Lufthansa A380 inside:)

Now comes the fun part!
I asked Anna a few questions, to which I received interesting answers; it’s always interesting to find out what is not on the surface...

alexcheban: - How did you get on the A380?
Anna Rodney: - In our airline, everyone who works full time receives three licenses. I work for the Airbus family, I fly the A320 and A340, and, quite logically, the A380. Within one family of aircraft, everything is located in approximately the same places and has a very similar technical layout.

Can you compare Boeing and Airbus?
- They say here that the type of aircraft you start flying on is more comfortable. I also flew on a Boeing 737, I can say that they have completely different philosophies - Boeing has an American one, Airbus has a European one, but to me the European one is more logical. The Americans, in my opinion, are more conservative and we (the European manufacturer) have greater comfort for passengers than Boeing.

What is the occupancy rate for First Class? Does it happen that there are not a single passenger?
- No, it doesn’t happen, usually there are 5-7 passengers, today we have all 8.

How long are you in Singapore between flights (there are flights here daily)?
- 2.5 days

What time do you live at your destination?
- I try to live according to local time, I always change my watches.

How many flights per month do you operate?
- Accounting is done by flight, and by hour, I need to fly 70 hours per month, respectively, a round trip flight to Singapore is 30 hours (net time on a one-way flight is 12.5 hours), i.e. these 30 hours are actually half the monthly norm. My next flight is to Oman, the flight there is only 4 hours :)

Arab/Asian airlines occupy the leading positions in the SkyTtax ranking. I was not on board their A380, but I saw the reports. Their main advantage is their emphasis on luxury service in all classes. The maximum possible refinement in interior equipment, etc. Lufthansa positions itself as a carrier from point A to point B and offers basic service for each class, but at a very high level. On intra-European flights, the new seats are downright uncomfortable. This is my subjective opinion, but what is your opinion on this matter?
- Unfortunately, I cannot say much about Arab or Asian airlines, since I have never used their services myself. Lufthansa- European airline, so she will never decorate the side of the plane with gold, etc. Lufthansa is a so-called business carrier - this is also evident in the choice of destinations (mainly the capitals of different countries, not resort towns) and in the frequency of flights. The emphasis is on efficiency and exclusivity, as our business and first class clients value luxury in simplicity and sophistication, not in gold and diamonds. Although, probably, our most important distinguishing factor is our staff. We have employees from 150 different countries around the world! On our Asian flights there are always several so-called regional colleagues - Chinese (on all flights to China), Japanese (on flights to Japan), Thais (on flights to Thailand and Singapore), Indians (on Indian flights), Koreans (on flights to Korea). During the order and configuration of the A380 for Lufthansa, a survey was conducted among first class passengers on the topic of the shower cabin. The majority voted, so to speak, for a spacious bathroom without a shower. Yes, Emirates offers a walk-in shower, but I honestly don't know how popular it is. Probably the whole point is whether to have it or not to have it. Firstly, in order to use it, passengers must add themselves to the list, and who wants to be first? After all, everyone wants to use it before boarding, and not 3-4 hours before boarding...???

As for the new seats on European flights, they are much lighter and thus save fuel, plus they have been designed to ergonomic standards, that is, with improved seating comfort. How comfortable they are is for you to judge - I have only flown them twice as a passenger so far. We hear mostly positive comments and if someone complains, it’s not about the seats, but about the fact that the wardrobe for outerwear in business class has been removed.....

What are the features of working at Lufthansa Airlines?
- We have very good conditions work, especially in comparison with American ones, we live in excellent central hotels in cities, we have a lot of time between flights and in general very good conditions.

You indicated a good company policy regarding your employer regarding American Airlines. What about Asian/Arabic? Do you have friends there? Their impressions?
- I have several friends who worked for Asian/Arab airlines. Arab airlines, as far as I know, pay very well, but do not provide decent working conditions, so many work for them for several years and then switch to European airlines. Still, there is a very noticeable difference in the attitude of Arab passengers towards the staff and in the attitude of Europeans. As for the Asian ones, the Europeans do not quite get used to their hierarchical structure (many pilots live in other best hotels than flight attendants), plus they cannot cope with the problems of mentality: in Asia no one criticizes anyone openly - everything happens behind the back, which is not very pleasant for our brother...

A feature of the Emirates dress code is lipstick of a certain red color. Does Lufthansa have something like this? interesting feature in the dress code or some interesting instructions?
- We don’t have such a feature, except that we are obliged to follow the rules of wearing a uniform. We are forbidden to dye our hair in unnatural colors - like red or green...

How is it determined who works in what class on a given flight?
- Positions are distributed at will in accordance with the so-called seniority list - the list is compiled according to the criterion of who has been working in the company for a longer period - chooses first, etc.

The flight crew is 24 people. Do you know everyone? How does rotation happen?
- Before the flight, we all meet for a mandatory briefing - there we get to know each other and determine who will work where

What documentation do you fill out before/during/after the flight?
- We fill out documentation depending on the flight - on most flights there is no documentation for us.

If someone gets sick while in another country between flights, how is the replacement done? What if it is the PIC or the co-pilot?
- In every country we fly to, we have a doctor with whom Lufthansa has entered into a contract and whom we call when necessary. If a crew member is unable to fly back, a replacement is sent on the next flight.

Everything is standardized/automated in airplane control now, but do you still feel the difference in flying/take-off/landing technique between different pilots?
- Lufthansa pilots always carry out takeoffs and landings manually, so to speak, so yes, the difference is felt in the landing.

Pilots in the post-Soviet space do not say the word “last”, replacing it with the word “extreme”. Do you have any superstitions?
- The Germans are not a superstitious people and rely on knowledge and experience, and not on superstition. :-) Therefore, no, there are no superstitions.

What is the most positive/negative aspect of your work? In outline:)
- Our work is very interesting - we are always in different countries, meet and get acquainted with interesting people and we go to places where not everyone can go (for example, in Saudi Arabia, where unmarried women are prohibited from entering). At the same time, it is not always easy to cope with the time difference. Plus there are countries where political situation not very stable (mainly in Africa) or hygienic conditions leave much to be desired.....

Do you have colleagues who work in budget companies? What is your opinion on this matter? Do you use low cost carriers in any cases?
- No, we don’t have any connections with them and among my friends I don’t have anyone who works in such a company.

Which destinations do you love the most?
- Personally, I like to fly to South America most of all - Argentina, Colombia, etc. I speak Spanish quite fluently, and in terms of mentality, it seems to me, they are closer to the Slavs, so I feel very comfortable there!

I thank Anna Rodney for the amazing tour and interesting conversation! :)

Official page of the A380 of Lufthansa.

is an airline owned by the United Arab Emirates. She has at her disposal 38 of the largest passenger liner in the world. The cabins of all aircraft are divided into 2 types, between which there are minor differences.

Most aircraft have a design similar to the Airbus A380. It accommodates 14 first class passengers in rows 1 to 4, 76 business class passengers in rows 6 to 26, and 399 economy class passengers in rows 43 to 88.

The difference between the other layout is in the number of economy class seats (there are 7 more) and in the numbering of the rows. Therefore, before purchasing, be sure to check with an airline employee about the location of a particular seat. In order to find out exactly what layout will be on your flight, you can.

The A380 has 2 decks. The upper deck accommodates first and business class passengers, while the lower deck is at the disposal of economy class travelers.

Let's look at the interior layout of the Emirates Airbus A380-800 and find out where the good/bad seats are.

First grade

Rows 1-4 intended for first class. These places are extremely comfortable. Each passenger is accommodated in an individual compartment with a door, equipped with a seat that can be folded up to 180 degrees, a large screen, sockets, Internet, individual lighting and a minibar.

VIP passengers are provided with an exquisite menu, showers and service at the level of a five-star hotel.

But some places are less convenient than others. Passengers in the first and fourth rows are located close to the toilet and kitchen, which causes some discomfort. Passengers warn that during a night flight, the lights constantly burning in the technical rooms and the sounds that come from them interfere with a relaxing rest.

Business Class

Business class passengers occupy Rows 6-26. All seats are distinguished by significant comfort. The chairs easily turn into comfortable beds for relaxing.

However, it is still better not to purchase tickets for rows 7, 20, 21 and 23, as sitting on them will not be very comfortable due to the proximity of the bar, toilets or kitchen. Passengers are constantly moving towards the technical premises, disturbing the peace.

If you want to relax during the flight, you should not choose seats marked in yellow.

Economy class

We move on to the lower deck, where the passengers who bought economy class tickets are located. There are 399 seats allocated for them in rows 43-88.

Each chair has its own monitor, charging socket, and individual USB port. There is also an audio and video entertainment system. After making an additional payment, you can connect to the Internet.

The rows are spaced 80 centimeters apart. This row spacing is standard for economy class.

IN 43 row thanks to the wall there is more legroom than usual. In addition, no one will recline the backs of their seats for the passengers in this row. But despite some advantages, there are also significant disadvantages. As in all front rows, the armrests are locked.

Nearby there is a staircase that leads to the upper deck with a technical room located below it, intended for on-board conductors. In this room the lights are never turned off and you can constantly hear the flight attendants and stewards walking around.

In addition, passengers go to the nearby toilet both day and night. In addition to everything, the sound that is heard when opening and closing the magnetic clasp, which blocks movement to the upper deck, does not allow you to sleep peacefully. All of the above disadvantages create significant inconvenience.

Bottom line, very fussy places.

IN 45 row There are additional benefits in the form of increased legroom.

Row 50 (A, B, C and H, J, K) located just before the first block of emergency exits. The seat backs here can be fixed or slightly limited in reclining.

Passengers 51 rows they will also not be able to recline the seat backs all the way, as they rest against the wall on-board kitchen. Agree, a long flight in a sitting position can cause a lot of discomfort.

Passengers who purchased tickets for places 54A and 55A, will receive slightly less legroom due to the audio and video entertainment server located under the seat in front.

Seats in row 54 (D, E, F, G) are also among the most comfortable. Here you can freely stretch your legs, there is a normal view ahead and no one will throw the back of the chair back on you. Plus, the kitchen is located in front, and not the restrooms, as in row 67, which is still a little better.

Although foreign smells and sounds will accompany you during the entire flight.

There are also some shortcomings in places located in Rows 65, 66, 78 and 79. These include close proximity to toilets, causing discomfort and the inability to fully recline the seat.

Seats in rows 67 and 80, equipped with additional free space for legs and knees. It is recommended to purchase these seats for those traveling as a couple, as there are only 2 chairs in a row. But the close location of the restrooms disrupts rest, as passengers constantly go to them and sometimes stand in queues.

They are particularly comfortable seats 68 and 81 rows (A and K) thanks to the missing chair.

IN 82 row There is additional legroom, but the galley is located immediately opposite.

Seats row 87 (C, H) not entirely comfortable. The proximity of the toilet creates some discomfort during the flight: passengers constantly walk past, brushing with elbows or stepping on feet.

Last places 88 rows, are the most restless and inconvenient. There is no way to relax comfortably, since the backs of the seats do not recline. In addition, there are toilets and stairs nearby, which significantly adds to the inconvenience. Therefore, it is highly undesirable to purchase tickets for this series.

Emirates Airline is an airline based in Dubai (United United Arab Emirates). This largest company in the Middle East, with 2,500 flights per week, the number of passengers is hundreds of times higher. That's why Emirates operates one of the world's largest passenger airliners, the Airbus A380 800.

This ship is called a wide-body and has two decks. The upper one extends along the entire length of the fuselage with a width equal to the width of the aircraft. Thanks to this, the cabin area is 550 sq.m. and provides accommodation for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration.

Plane layout and best seats

Scheme Airbus salon a380-800 Emirates

Let's look at the three-class scheme, which is used by Dubai Airlines for longer flights and is the most common.

There are two classes on the upper deck:

  • “First class” accommodates 14 cabins, they are located from rows 1 to 4;
  • “Business class” accommodates 76 seats, from rows 6 to 26.

On the main deck:

  • “Economy class”, which has 399 seats from rows 43 to 88.

First class private cabins

First class seats from

are distinguished not only by increased comfort, but by the extraordinary layout of the entire cabin. Here your place will be in the form of a compartment with a door measuring three meters long and one and a half meters wide. The cabin is equipped with a massage chair that reclines up to 180 degrees and is made of genuine leather. The large screen will provide a wide selection of programs, films and games for entertainment. Personal belongings can be placed in the closet, there is a mirror and a dressing table. Each passenger in this class has a minibar at his disposal. To work, a retractable table is useful, and it can be adjusted according to your wishes.

lighting. There are sockets, 2 USB inputs and available Internet throughout the flight. The entire cabin is made of natural polished wood. Given the presence of a shower cabin and a skillful menu, the service is at the level of a five-star hotel.

Despite all the advantages of the cabin, there are disadvantages in the location of some places. For example, passengers in the first and last row may feel inconvenienced by the kitchen and toilet, which are located nearby. Constantly burning lights and sounds coming from technical rooms can disturb your peace.

Business Class

This class will also provide comfort. There is a fully reclining chair, a table, a special place for luggage and a minibar. For convenience, there is a partition; it can be lowered or raised at will. The seats are arranged so that the passenger always has accessible access to the corridor. Access to Wi-Fi allows you to freely surf the Internet; you also have an LCD monitor with entertainment program, which the airline prepared.

In this class, the seats that are located in the outer rows will not be entirely favorable. They are located near the bar, kitchen and toilets, so the movement of people will create noise, disturbing the peace.

Economy class

The lower deck is fully available for economy class and is divided into 4 salons. Passenger seats are equipped with special screens, all of them are connected to central system entertainment, which includes films, programs and games in several languages. Each monitor is provided interactive map, which makes it possible to monitor the flight. The child can use the functions of the children's menu. The distance between the rows is more than 80 cm, the width of the chair is 45 cm, which are standard conditions.

Seats in row 43 feel comfortable because there is more legroom than usual. But the location of the seats itself presents a number of disadvantages. First, the armrests are locked. Secondly, the close location of technical rooms and the stairs to the second floor create an uneasy environment. Always-on lights and round-the-clock traffic will cause inconvenience.

In rows 45 and 54, the advantage will be large legroom and there will be no reclined seat in front of you. The lack of restrooms provides a pleasant overview, which cannot be said about row 67.

Due to the fact that in front of these rows there are emergency exits, passengers with disabilities, pregnant women and children or the elderly cannot sit there. From a safety point of view, these places are preferably given to those who create the impression of a healthy and sane person. Thus, airlines assume that in the event emergency situation, the person will not panic and will be able to open the emergency hatch.

Seats in rows 68 and 81 (A and K) are especially comfortable due to the absence of adjacent seats.

The seats in the last row 88 will be extremely uncomfortable. The seat backs do not recline here, which affects comfort. The location of restrooms and stairs nearby will create noise and the rest is unlikely to be peaceful. It is not advisable to purchase these places, but in terms of security, they are the most reliable.

Passengers like to choose seats near the window. These places can be called the best when the flight takes place during the daytime. An overnight flight will not please you with beautiful clouds and sun rays. A secluded place near the window is calm. In addition, it is difficult to disturb a person in this place, but if you need to go out, you will have to disturb the neighbors.

Advantages of the A380 800 airliner

The largest aircraft in the world - Airbus A380 800 has many positive aspects, namely:

  • Capacity;
  • Spaciousness;
  • Easy on takeoff and landing;
  • When flying over the sea or mountains, vibrations are barely noticeable;
  • Comfortable passenger seats;
  • Pleasant environment with a bright interior;
  • Availability of relaxation areas (bars, duty-free shops);
  • Delicious food;
  • Polite staff.

Airbus A380-800 is the largest airliner, where everything is almost perfectly thought out, for even a comfortable long flight, during which you can both relax and work.

In November, Emirates airline took delivery of its 100th A380, just think about the number - the HUNDREDTH! Every flight on this type to European cities closes flights local airlines, it flies twice a day from Domodedovo to Dubai or, with a high degree of probability, this particular plane will come across to you on the second connecting segment from Dubai, where you arrived with flydubai and its extensive route network to regions of Russia, cities of Ukraine and CIS countries. Imagine, every 2 minutes a giant A380 takes off somewhere in the world!

At the Dubai Airshow, this aircraft traditionally attracted perhaps the most attention of visitors. What makes the anniversary A380 stand out and what is unusual?
Welcome aboard!

Emirates is the world's largest operator of the Airbus A380 and operates the aircraft on routes ranging from just 851km to Kuwait to the longest route in the Emirates network to Auckland, New Zealand at 14,193km.

100 aircraft are already in the Dubai-based national carrier's fleet and 42 more are on order. The Emirates A380 has visited 71 airports around the world, and in total this type is accepted by 241 airports.

Economy class:

A special feature of this aircraft is the new IFE screens, they are larger, the same as in the new economy class, which was presented there, in Dubai, on board the Boeing 777, I will talk about it separately. Economy class on board the A380 occupies the entire lower deck.

Children's menu sample:

We go up to the second floor and find ourselves in a new bar for business class passengers. The illusion is created that you are on board a business jet.

Business Class.

The layout is standard, but there is less “gold”; many traditionally “golden” elements have been replaced with chrome panels:

First grade.

It’s not clear why, but Emirates did not order new First Class cabins for the 100th anniversary A380, so there are no innovations here. However, it all looks just as gorgeous:

And a shower on board the plane!
The water container holds a volume of water equal to 5 minutes per passenger.

If you're lucky enough to have an A380 flying directly to your city, book now!

Several aircraft in 2018 have a special livery dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sheikh Zayed.

Or dock flydubai flights c Emirates. In this case, on board the Boeing 737 you will find free meals and luggage, easy connections and transfer to terminals 1 and 3. From my point of view, the combination of flydubai and Emirates is an ideal combination with the possibility of expanding the Emirates route network to many cities in Russia and the country CIS, where passenger traffic is insufficient for direct flight Emirates (after all, its fleet only has wide-body airliners).

I only look for cheap tickets with convenient filters for baggage availability in the tariff and much more here: Aviasales! Aviasales searches for flights everywhere, and you choose where to buy the most profitable ones. Honest, simple and transparent.
