We vacationed on the island of Phuket in January 2010. From Moscow winter at -25 to hot summer +35!!! Great relaxing holiday. We wanted to be alone without noise and large quantity of people. The hotel turned out to be just that. There is no animation in the hotel at all. Just the sea with turquoise water, white sand beach and pine trees... Excellent massage... Great amount fruits... Quiet, calm hotel for a relaxing holiday. We visited at the end of April (off season), there were very few people. In the evenings, there is live music in the hotel restaurant. On the beach, if you walk, there are restaurants with a normal selection of dishes. There is nothing to do there with children. At the hotel there is a small spa center. The staff is very friendly - WHICH IS OFTEN NOT IN LARGER HOTELS. Excellent sandy beach. Food is modest Buffet, but if there is no goal to overeat and come home +5-10 kg. , then it's normal. This is not the first time my husband and I have vacationed in this hotel. Previously we took a villa wing, this time we took a bungalow. The room is good, large, but due to the lack of overhead lighting it is a little dark. Excellent sun loungers on the terrace, 2 steps to the sea, but there is one caveat. If you are a light sleeper and go to bed early, you will be noisy from the beach cafes behind the fence. And so, everything is fine.

The staff is not friendly or responsive; for every request they ask a lot of unnecessary questions. I asked to change the bed linen - they started asking - “just the sheets?”... The cocktails at dinner at the pool bar and in the restaurant are very tasteless; at the pool bar they don’t give you any plates/forks for appetizers. As a result, the Germans ate wings from a common dish and threw the bones there. Everywhere they understand English very poorly - at the bar we couldn’t question the ice (the staff there are generally stressed), at the reception they couldn’t understand that I was asking for fumitox tablets. I have good English, I travel a lot around the world, I have never had any problems with the language. Here every time it was stressful to communicate with the staff. The hotel deserves 3 star service in Europe. Sunbeds and tables by the pool and at the sea apparently are not washed, they are always sticky (they are washed only by rain). Breakfast tables are poorly cleaned. There are no fresh juices at breakfast in a country with cheap fruit... The rooms are outdated. I booked a room for two adults and a 10-year-old child; upon check-in, we were additionally asked to pay for an extra bed for the child. (i.e., according to the offer on the booking, it was meant that a 10-year-old child would sleep with us in a shared bed?!) I have never seen anything like this anywhere else in the world. They refused late check-out from the room, although no one moved into the room until the evening. Everything is formal. My daughter wanted to dance Zumba (class by the pool), the animator said that the class was for adults, I insisted on letting her in, in the end he let her in, but ignored her. There were no other guests, 2 animators danced Zumba on their own with their backs to my daughter.
“Free room upgrade” (although perhaps our room was simply occupied; I was not offered a choice). Clean beach. Delicious buffet dinner.

We are resting for the third time. The hotel consistently maintains a high standard in everything. Very good breakfasts. Wide variety of dishes and excellent quality. Well-groomed area, sun loungers under the trees (a huge plus in the heat with active sun). Clean rooms where everything works. And of course the staff who try their best. After a vacation, the desire to return again remains.

This is our second time coming to this hotel and we are convinced that it is very good hotel both in location and service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The sea view at breakfast and from the room is excellent!

For those who like to exercise during their holidays, the gym is very small and stuffy, despite the working air conditioner and fan.
An excellent hotel for families with children and not only. Own sun loungers, maximum proximity to the sea, various cafes, opposite the 7 eleven store. We rested at the end of May 2019, despite the end of the season in Thailand. The weather was simply magical and completely calm at sea. It seemed to me that the hotel was half full and that was a big plus. I recommend the hotel and the time of year to fly to Thailand.

Located away from walking areas, there is nowhere to go in the evening. We were disappointed by the dirty sea and the shore without umbrellas and sun loungers. You can only lie on sun loungers on the hotel grounds behind a barrier of boulders and stones. You have to go down the stairs to the sea. Sun loungers without mattresses, which does not add comfort. The beds and pillows in the Deluxe are also hard. The deposit of 5 thousand baht was an unpleasant surprise for us.
Everything in the hotel itself is excellent: beautiful, well-groomed and very green areas, two large swimming pools, varied and delicious breakfast. But in the evenings I’m bored, there’s practically nowhere to go.

I lived in a bungalow, but it was not a bungalow, but a shed that was not worth the money. Let's start with the fact that this barn has an interior wooden door inside - this is the entrance to the neighbors. This door is locked. As you understand, there is no soundproofing, you can hear the neighbors opening bottles of soda, shuffling with slippers, yawning, and talking. At 22:00 the sewer is drained, the smell in the house is such that it hurts your eyes! There are swarms of mosquitoes flying around the house; the repellents that are provided at the hotel do not help, so take fumitox with you, or buy products in the nearest stores. Once a huge cockroach appeared in my shower shed, after cleaning the room it did not disappear, I had to call the reception to have it eliminated. The barn is dark, there is no overhead lighting, the only lamps are 2 bedside lamps, a floor lamp opposite the bed and a table lamp near the entrance. Regarding breakfasts, it would seem that everything is available, including soups and hearty dishes like chicken and eggplant, but only scrambled eggs and sausages are tasty. Sun loungers on the beach and near the pool are reserved before breakfast. You can find cheaper and much better hotels in Bang Tao.
Convenient location. First line of the beach. Well-groomed small area. Pleasant and helpful staff. Transfer to the airport 700 baht. Nearby are 7-11 stores and family market.

Beach: dirty, especially at low tide. A huge amount of garbage, dead fish and insects. There are snakes (I don’t know how dangerous they are). I saw two. There is a river nearby, into which they pour out unknown things and it flows straight to the beach (50m below). The current carries it gently throughout Bangtao. The beach gets cleaner up the coast. But in general, of course, shame on the Thais. Hotel: cleaning the room carelessly, despite the tip. Lazy guys, there's nothing more to say. Air conditioners are evil, almost unregulated. Be careful around children. Take pajamas for everyone, maybe even light caps for the kids. It's stuffy to sleep without an air conditioner; it's cold with it. Breakfast: nothing to write home about. Uniform minimum. If you want frills, this is not the place. Although there are no questions about freshness. For children, it is better to bring complementary foods with you in cans, etc. Sanitation is ok. Take a walk: the hotel area is small, everything is very dense. Mass entertainment is far and expensive. The children have nothing to do except the nursery. Up the beach (approx. 400m) there are hotels with water slides and infrastructure for children. You can get there easily if you mix with the guests.
