Postol (also Verkhniy Postol) is a village in the Zavyalovsky district of Udmurtia, part of the Srednepostolskoe rural settlement.
Population 519 people.
Geographical position
Located 29 km west of the center of Izhevsk. Next to it runs the Nylginsky tract, separating Postol from Srednyaya Postol. The Postolka River flows through the village.
Before the revolution, Postol was part of the Sarapul district of the Vyatka province. According to the tenth audit in 1859, 356 people lived in 63 courtyards of the state-owned village of Verkhniy Postol near the Postolka River, and 3 mills operated.
