This summer I went to Manpupunyer with the organizers of the hikes, the Pokhodnik website, and read negative reviews, I couldn’t resist writing my own - guys, hikers, you are going on a hike, not for a seal holiday, it’s always difficult on a hike, you just need to decide for yourself - to see the untouched beauty, to visit wild places inaccessible to the public

transport places, you first need to work hard, you also have to eat in portions not from the belly (does this mean that you didn’t have enough food???), the pace of the group should be a little higher than expected at home, if you crawl without force, then the campaign may not be completed; in general, super efforts are required to complete the task (you have no idea what possibilities are hidden in your body). We walked 220 km in 10 days, did everything we set out to do, had enough food, I walked with a sprained ankle on Ketorol and Naise, the guys were very helpful, the instructor was excellent, Mikhail, I’m going to continue traveling with them.

Advantages

Great instructor Mikhail

Flaws

I didn’t remember anything, there are no shortcomings

We went with “Pokhodnik” to Ergaki in 2015, it was our first hike with them, and I think it was our last. Pros: meeting, transverse, accommodation before the plane, communication with instructors along the route. Cons: Failure to fulfill the main conditions of the hike. 1. we agreed that we were going in a separate group, with our own instructor and our own pace: in the end we got an instructor who

I didn’t know the route at all and had never walked along it, essentially this was not an instructor, but another participant in the hike paid for by us; we had to adapt to the pace of the parallel group (the group from the “Pokhodnik”), go as they decided, in the end they grumbled that we were walking slowly, and we couldn’t stop earlier because we didn’t know where to go the next day “stupidity”; in the parking lots when preparing food, the situation was also awkward, we seem to be going together, but we have different menus and need to cook separately, in general it’s like this We never felt stupid. If we had found out that the instructor didn’t know the route before buying tickets, we wouldn’t have gone on the hike, in fact we were simply deceived. 2. I was surprised that we had to be persuaded to register the group with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, although during correspondence everything decided. 3. The hiking club "Pokhodnik" is registered, has its own website, but does not draw up any contracts or route maps, checks, and therefore does not bear any legal responsibility for the route and participants of the hike.

I went with Pokhodnik to Altai in 2013. Everything is organized very clearly and professionally. Polite attitude, THE MOST low prices(compare the price tags in other travel agencies and tourist clubs - they will be one and a half to two times higher), impeccable organization, clear and loyal instructors. Even force majeure situations were resolved remotely and quickly.

For example, our car broke down when we were already driving from the route back to Barnaul. And people are from out of town, they bought train tickets, and all that. One phone call to the tourist club - another car was sent to meet us, which picked us up and delivered us.

Advantages

Organization, prices, attitude towards customers

Flaws

Not found

I was on an expedition. tour in western Mongolia in the summer of 2014. A huge plus is the absolute feeling that you are not on tour with strangers, but with friends. Nobody imposes anything, everything is simple and adequate for those who love nature and only nature. Well done guys, I hope

to travel with them more than once. P.S. People of different ages feel comfortable in the same company, this, in my opinion, is important.

Advantages

Positive, enthusiastic people who love their work.

Flaws

The guides themselves shouldn’t have introduced adultery

I’ve gone on hikes with the guys from Pokhodnik three times already – twice to Altai and once to Lake Baikal. Pros: excellent organization of hikes, professional and prompt pre-trip consultation on all issues, patience and politeness of the organizers, sometimes even in response to stupid questions))), competent

responsible instructors. The food layout is well balanced, no one goes hungry or carries too much; at the end of the hike, there may be one and a half to two kilograms of cereal left for the group. I was very pleased with the attitude towards tourists. Not as “to clients”, but as to old friends. There were no special “cons” noticed. Well, perhaps - for transfers around Altai I would like a transport that is more comfortable than the Gazelle, well, that’s just minor quibbles))) Overall 5+!

I read the negative reviews and was shocked. My child and I went hiking with Pohodnik twice. The first time was in 2013 along the Shavla-Maashey route. Imagine a child was 8 years old. Very good impressions left the hike. I had concerns about food, nutritionally speaking.

child. Two weeks is a long time and I, like any mother, was afraid that it would not work out and the child would be malnourished. But these fears were in vain and on the first and second trips we were satisfied with the layout. And our groups didn’t even think about “squeezing in” food somewhere... Everyone laid out everything, including personal information, too, although the people were completely different. The instructor on this trip was Valera. I will never tire of admiring his patience when this “talking radio” - my child, did not leave him a single step during transitions. Valera told us a lot about Altai, traditions and how, for example, to behave on different surfaces, how to place your feet, how to cross crossings. Always insured. In general, I believe that 90% of the success of a hike depends on the instructor. The second hike was the following year, 2014, on the Kucherla-Akkem route. And everything was fine too. The group was large and cheerful. Instructor Konstantin. Konstantin is an old-school instructor, it was felt that he felt responsible for each member of the trip. Different situations arose, after all, Kara-Turek is not an easy stroll, but for the life of me I can’t remember any things that would speak of incompetence or a feeling of not caring!!! I really liked the caring attitude towards nature and the formation of a friendly atmosphere in the group. Nature, of course, cannot be described in words; it feels like you are walking along a path, and everything around you and moving towards you seeps through you, leaving a trace in your soul. And there was some kind of euphoria throughout... This year the question arose again about where and with whom to go hiking. We considered different options. We stopped again at Pokhodnik. This company inspires trust, there is some kind of inner feeling that everything will be fine.

Advantages

Very interesting and long routes. Food and organization are up to par. Friendly pleasant atmosphere.
Quite flexible prices. Experienced instructors.

Having returned from the “climbing Belukha”, organized by the tourist club “Pokhodnik” (07/17/07/31/07), I want to express everything that is boiling up so that none of my friends step on this rake. Since I didn’t find the “leave a review” option on the site itself, I published it here. The organization is strongly

he's limping, his right hand doesn't know what his left hand is doing. The attitude towards “clients” is irresponsible and negligent. Draining the group in every possible way. Guides stealing food from the group. Arriving at the camp site, hearing from the guide (guide No. 1) that we would not climb to the top was not very pleasant. To all questions asked to the guide there was one answer, how will it work out. On Lake Akkem, a second guide approached the group, in a tipsy state. All evening he walked around the camps and looked for places to drink/get some drinks. In the morning, the second guide (guide No. 2) packed his backpack with food (stewed meat, sausage, etc.), and not with ropes, a walkie-talkie, or a snow shovel (the “client” had to carry this) and disappeared in an unknown direction. In the morning, a third guide (guide No. 3) also appeared and took part of the group, which was going only to the foot of Belukha. All the time he ran forward and the group walked on its own. With the onset of darkness, 2 people go to Tomsk parking lots. didn’t come, guide No. 1 didn’t even think about following them, saying that they could go with other groups. I had to contact the instructors, offering them a fee to go pick them up. but the guys themselves had already reached the field of view in the darkness, not knowing the road. On the Tomsk risers, the group went out to train near Delaunay. The weather turned bad and it began to rain. but the training continued, there was a rockfall on the wall towards the group (one of the rather large stones flew half a meter away from me), but the training continued again in the rain. part of the group was soaked through. On Lake Akkem, guide No. 1 stated that there was no rain above the Tomsk campsites - only snow, so the raincoats were left in the tents. Although he took care of himself and was wearing a raincoat. Also at the lake he told the group that he didn’t need a first aid kit and almost everyone left it there. This was one of the attempts to drain the group; you can’t go upstairs in wet clothes. During the training, it turned out that some of the rental equipment worked very poorly. Guide No. 1 also does not have carabiners to set up stations for training and he collected from “clients”. From early morning, all groups began to go towards the “frying pan”, but we stayed to dry out and left no earlier than 11 am. Already here, guide No. 1 stated that he would not lead everyone in a group alone. Leaving no choice, one of the “clients” (with experience) agreed to lead the second group. We were relatively lucky until 15:00 there was sun. We reached the “frying pan” as it began to rain. Parallel groups hid from the rain, and we had to set up tents. And again it was negligent: it turned out that the radios were not in working order and the girl had a problem with rental cats. And we only have one normally working burner. It rained all night. The next day the rain continued, there was thick fog and visibility was very poor. All groups remained in tents. But our guide No. 1, despite our protests, ordered us to pack up and hit the road to the “Berel Saddle”. We reached the “Berel Saddle” again, wet, the rain did not stop pouring, and we set up camp. The wet group somehow spent the night. We had one day left. But we didn't have a chance to stay there. Guide No. 1 did everything possible to prevent us from ascending. Staying in the “saddle” for another day, completely wet in wet tents, meant either frostbite or contracting pneumonia with bronchitis. Having got ready in the morning, we went out towards the Tomsk parking lots, only after lunch the sun appeared. On Lake Akkem it turns out that guide No. 1 and guide No. 3 are not in any way in contact with each other, and also both stole from our food, and also during the conversation it will casually say that guide No. 1 was not going to take us to the top from the very beginning. And again there are disputes about how we should get to Tungur. Guide No. 1 remains according to the office plan on the lake. Guide No. 3 only with 4 people. he is not responsible for the rest, and even then only for six days. the group immediately stated that it was not going to split up. When asked to call Konstantin and find out, he initially refused. Later he stated that he was letting everyone down from the village. On the trail. In the morning the group left, and in the evening guide No. 4 came to the lake and said that she should take our group down. It turns out that guide No. 3 did not contact the authorities and did as he wanted. At the camp site, guide No. 4 again quietly reached into the group’s provisions. To the question “Where are you taking this from us?” replied “what? You still have it.” According to the plan, the group was supposed to stay there for another day, and then be on the road for 16 hours. p.s. Flaws

The organization is terrible, the attitude towards “clients” is irresponsible and negligent. draining the group in all possible ways. guides stealing food from the group.

We went with friends to Altai, the places are amazing, but... Although, on the whole, I was delighted with the trip, there was also some rather harsh negativity, which I promised to write to you about. Here he is. The negative concerns the company organizing the trip, the Pokhodnik company from Barnaul, managed by Kostya Khoroshilov. Everything below

I wrote the above to him - and received, in general, a formal reply. Regarding the organization itself, I have two complaints. Firstly, the layout was not very successful. (I wrote to Kostya in detail) Secondly, equipment. There was a severe shortage of iron. For training sessions at Tyumenskiye, we had to use all our PERSONAL carabiners (mine and Oleg’s) to hang the training railings. What if we didn't have personal equipment? Yours only had carabiners on the mustache - for jumars and trigger devices - which were impossible to remove from the mustache. And it's unnecessary. In addition, at least one zhumar was so tight that I could hardly open it, but the girls could not. One of the cats (at least) was broken, the sliding bar was secured with wire. Not only was this cat impossible to fit (thank God there were shoes that fit that size), it was also unreliable. But the worst thing is the instructors. Maxim is the only one to whom there are no complaints, but much was not required of him - he did not go upstairs, he worked with the girls who remained downstairs. He worked, served, helped, it was a pleasure to communicate with him. Alexei. He came to the camp the evening before leaving, pretty drunk. First question: guys, do you have enough for 50 grams? The next day, at the exit, he came drunk and said that his knee hurt. But he will try to go. Alexey walked 200 meters, and, without telling anyone, returned back, taking with him quite most food (which we lacked at the top) and, apparently, part of the equipment. We didn't see him again. He disappeared and didn't give us anything back. Dmitry Shitov. This is a separate long story. The person is absolutely unprofessional, unwilling to work, a liar, with wild aplomb and disdain for people. In the evening, immediately after the meeting in Tungur, he told us that he would not lead us through Kara-Turek, because the pass was very difficult, and there was a path through knee-deep snow. I talked with other instructors at the parking lot and found out that the pass is only 1A, and there is practically no snow there. There are snowfields that the trail safely avoids. And all groups go through Kara-Turek. But the newcomers were frightened by Dima’s story, and the group decided to go through Akem. So for the first time I caught him outright lying and unwilling to work. In addition, Dima demanded that we leave our first aid kits downstairs, he “has everything we need.” Later it turned out that all he had were bandages and adhesive plasters. Thank God, I still took part of my first aid kit - analgesics, anti-miner medications and the most necessary things. In addition, he stated that thermoses are not needed on the mountain... The next day we went out, and Dima immediately ran ahead, so we didn’t see him until we stopped for lunch. We had to find the path ourselves, asking groups passing by. With a fan around the fire, we had a conversation with him, explaining that this is not how to do things. Dima said that we are adults and can handle it ourselves. Dima did not answer the reasonable question of why we need him then. He continued to act as if the group was not his and he didn't care about it. The same thing happened in Akem. When we were preparing to go upstairs, Dima did not take part in the preparation in any way; it did not even occur to him to check the availability and quality of equipment (the presence of the same carbines, for example). And again he ran away from the group, we found the way to Tyumen on our own. In the evening, on Tyumenskiye, we discovered that we had forgotten the salt downstairs. Dima said that the next day he would run downstairs to get salt. This day was designed for training for beginners. When asked what about training, Dima replied: you will train yourself, without me... You’ll figure it out, they say. We borrowed salt from a neighboring group and demanded that Dima not go anywhere and conduct training. In preparation for training, we ourselves helped the beginners fit crampons and harnesses; Dima did not take part in this. For training, he chose a sloping section of the glacier to the right of the Delaunay pass, which was the most dangerous of all, which was clearly visible from the fresh traces of large stones that fell from above. To the left and to the right, the areas were quieter, judging by the tracks. However, the training took place exactly there and lasted about 45 minutes. This is all. When fresh stones flew past us, Dima continued his training without thinking about changing his place. Thank God, no one was hurt. The stones were rather large. The next day. We left for Delone at 11 am, Dima generally announced getting up at 8 am and leaving “when ready”. To be honest, this is the first time in my life that I have encountered such late departures; this is not customary in the mountains for a number of reasons. I'm not saying that the departure time was not set at all, the newcomers were in no hurry and the departures were VERY late. That's why we arrived late, in the dark. Which I think is quite dangerous. Others in the group went to Delone, some at 5 in the morning, some at 6... We only got up at 8. We passed Delaunay without any problems, the weather was good until the moment we began our descent to the Minsu glacier. The weather suddenly deteriorated and we camped right in the middle of Minsu, two other groups that left on the same day camped in the same place. The next day the weather was bad, all the groups stayed for the day, and we went up and reached the Berel saddle. In low visibility and in the rain. We stopped to spend the night on the saddle. Dima said that tomorrow we will try to reach the top. We argued whether he leaves at 2 or 4 in the morning, but Dima again stated that he would get up at 8 and leave when ready, that we would have time to do everything. The next day the weather was again bad, unsuitable, and Dima said that we were urgently going down, despite the fact that we had a spare day that we could sit on the saddle waiting for the weather. Moreover, if we had stayed, the climb would have been successful; the next day the weather was beautiful. But Dima said that there would be no weather, there was nothing to wait for, and we were going down - as an ultimatum. It is worth noting that later, below, he told Oleg (according to Oleg) that he had no intention of leading us to the top. Before descending from the Berel saddle, Dima said that we were going without cats, cats were not needed. In my experience, walking without crampons on a half-closed glacier is not just negligence, but a crime; this should not be done under any circumstances. All other groups in Means wore crampons. I told my group, the majority listened to me and went with their crampons. A couple of people, listening to Dima, left the cats. Thank God, nothing happened, and only the backpack flew into the crack, and not the person. We reached Delaunay without incident, but at Delaunay itself, a completely egregious, in my opinion, incident occurred. Before descending to Delone, Dima gave an ultimatum order to put the zhumars in their backpacks. To my great happiness, I did not listen to him. Dima went down first, I was fourth. While descending, I discovered that at the third station from the top, the ice auger had flown out of the ice and was dangling freely in the air. I squinted at the top rope and moved the ice screw, re-screwing it into the ice in a different place. Unfortunately - this is my mistake - while rearranging the ice screw, the lower rope along with the carabiner slipped out of my hand when I tried to attach it to my harness and flew down. The section of railings below me was left without railings. The problem is small - I shouted to the guys upstairs to let me lower our rope in order to winnow this area, pick up the flying rope and restore the railing. To my great surprise, it turned out that Dima took all our ropes down, going down first. Another mistake bordering on criminal negligence. But anyway, the problem is solvable. Although it is more difficult. I shouted down to Dima to come upstairs and bring me a rope of railings - he could easily do it in three steps with an ice pick and wearing crampons. I screamed for about 15 minutes, Dima did not react at all. As it turned out later - Dima himself told me about this - the instructor went lower to the glacier, sat down on a pebble, took off his crampons, boots and socks and warmed his feet. Amazing disregard for what is happening with the group entrusted to him. Without shouting to Dima, I pendulum went to the left bergschrund, hoping that there I could get an ice ax from my backpack, go down to the fallen rope along the bergschrund and restore the railing. This turned out to be even more difficult, the descent along the Bergschrund was more difficult than the descent on ice, and besides, there were pebbles there. I again returned like a pendulum to the glacier of the pass, again unsuccessfully trying to shout to Dima. Then he made the only possible decision in this situation to return up to the pass, wait for some group with ropes and hang the descent. I had already managed to buzz up half the way when Dima suddenly woke up and yelled that he was coming up to me. With great surprise, I discovered that Dima was walking up the glacier WITHOUT AN ICE AX, clinging to the ice with his hands. But in the end he got there, brought the rope, and we restored the railing. Then the descent went smoothly. We spent the night on Tomskiye, and the next day we went down. Throughout the entire hike, Dima told us how everyone around him was lying, how we should only trust him, and how everyone else was complete idiots. Unfortunately, I ended up in the same tent with him and listened to this every evening, about how brilliant he was and all that. However, this is already personal. Our group was dissatisfied with the organization and ESPECIALLY with Dima, we still tell jokes about him... I intend to publish this story on the Internet on all resources available to me in order to warn people that walking with Dmitry Shitov is deadly, I I'm not saying it's uncomfortable.

It all started in 2003. from two friends and enthusiasts of active pastime from Barnaul - Konstantin Khoroshilov and Alexander Nikolaev, who organized hikes and invited friends from other cities or countries to them, introducing them to Altai. As is usually the case with all successful undertakings, word of mouth worked properly and more and more new faces appeared in our ranks every year, at some point moving into a phase when the need arose for some instrument for regulating and organizing our activities. Thus in 2006 It was decided to create an open tourist club "Pokhodnik" and develop an informational website of the same name, offering all potential hiking participants to familiarize themselves with our hiking schedule and receive recommendations on choosing tourist equipment.
Currently, the development of our community has reached the stage where people who went to the mountains under the auspices of our tourist club are already organizing hikes on their own in other regions. And people who know us through recommendations from our tourist friends sign up for our hikes. There are people for whom one hike is enough to understand that mountains are not their element. And there are those who come with us again and again from year to year and bring friends. And in the off-season, on long winter evenings, chatting on the Internet, they plan trips for next summer.
The backbone of the Pokhodnik tourist club consists of people living in different cities and countries, but had already gone on several campaigns together. What is constant is that throughout the summer we almost always get together on several hikes, be it in Altai or some other region, and have a pleasant time in the mountains, recharging ourselves with positive energy for the whole next year!
The principle of organizing our hikes is such that we divide all the total costs of the hike - transport, food, instructor work, organizational expenses - equally among all participants of the hike. Therefore, the final cost decreases as the number of hike participants in the group increases. We pay for the work of instructors because we respect these people and their time, qualifications and experience spent in the mountains. After all, the instructor’s task is to show people the mountains in such a way that they will remember them for the rest of their lives as an inexhaustible source natural beauty and vital energy to come back here again and again. Instructors are also needed for teams in which there are many beginners, or for technical difficult routes. If the hike is not particularly difficult, and if all the participants in the group are old, trusted friends, and if we know the route, then we can go without an instructor.
Our club is virtual, not having any specific territorial affiliation, although the conditional “headquarters” is located in Barnaul ( Altai region). We do not organize any targeted tourist meetings (with the exception of strategic planning meetings with instructors), they are increasingly spontaneous. For example, when people migrate around the country on business trips - in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk - it can be interesting to get together, remember the past years and make plans for the future. There are also collective trips on weekend hikes within the region - the place of residence. Usually this is where there are more of our teammates - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, etc.

The backbone of the Pokhodnik tourist club is made up of people who live in different cities and countries, but have already gone on several hikes together.

There are also collective trips on weekend hikes within the region - the place of residence. Usually this is where there are more of our teammates - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, etc.

Some groups go with almost the same composition from year to year, while others constantly mix on different trips. Groups, as a rule, consist of both beginners and “old-timers” who have already completed several hikes with us...

In terms of organizing hikes, we always try to fulfill the “maximum” program in two areas: the quality and safety of the hike and minimizing its cost.

The tourist club "POKHODNIK" has existed since 2003, and the site is already 12 years old.
Several thousand people have been on our hikes, many of whom have shared with us the hardships and joys of camping life more than once, and now recommend our club to their friends!

If you would like to join us on one of the hikes, please fill out this form. It is advisable (but not required) to include your photo (portrait) in your application. Registered participants receive a password to access a private page with a list of all participants in the hike, their contact details and group chat. Thus, you will be able to get acquainted in advance with the team in which you will spend one and a half to two weeks away from civilization :-) The minimum composition of the group is 5+1 people, the optimal is 10+1.
In case of registration for a hike, the route of which passes through the border zone, foreign citizens It is NECESSARY that we will require full passport data from future hikers (will be requested later).
In cases where the trekking route passes in a 5-km border zone, according to the rules of the border regime, passes must be issued in advance - 15 days before entering the PP for Russians and 30 days before for foreign citizens.
In case of entry into the 100-km border zone for foreign citizens NECESSARY provide us with a scanned copy of your passport at least 30 days before the start of the trip!
To issue passes to the border zone, border guards require applications filled out in Russian or in Russian transcription. Please fill out your registration information in Russian (Cyrillic)!

If a minor citizen who does not have a passport enters the border zone, then instead of passport data, indicate the data of the birth certificate.

The passport number is your identifier in the system, serves as an indicator of Russian citizenship (for issuing passes to the border zone) and significantly simplifies re-registration for future trips.

The life of our club in photographs And videos

Our club was created in 2015. Before that we were participants in different tourist groups, different clubs. We went on sports trips, risked our lives for the sake of adrenaline and new thrills. We conquered mountain rivers, snowy peaks, and traveled around the world on bicycles. We looked at the delightful world and breathed the air of freedom. We have accumulated so much experience that it no longer fits in our suitcases. It's time to share. Probably every person in his life comes sooner or later to the conclusion that it is necessary not only to reap, but also to start sowing.

But let's get back to earth and tell you what exactly the club does. We compose, organize and conduct hiking trips weekend along a variety of routes, using almost all known means of transportation. All our hikes have thematic, sports, health and entertainment components, which are combined in various variations, depending on the type of hike. Today we have several groups of hikes: weekend hiking trips in the Moscow region, kayaking on the rivers of the Moscow region, cycling trips in the Moscow region and neighboring regions, hikes with excursions to historical and cultural places, family hikes with children, kayaking in Karelia. Bicycle trekking routes across Russia are also being prepared; they require serious organizational preparation.

It is not by chance that the Moscow region is chosen as the main destination in our tours. This huge region of our country is rich in an incredible number of natural, historical, and architectural monuments. It includes several climatic zones, vegetation and animal world incredibly diverse. Meshchera, Volga, Prioksky steppes, endless fields Vladimir region, the richest cultural and historical heritage Suzdal, Volokolamsk, Dmitrov... This list can never be completed. And all this is literally a step away from Moscow. In two days off you can see, feel, and remember so much that this baggage will be enough for almost a lifetime.

In general, weekend hikes are not unique. It was invented back in Soviet times, at the dawn of formation sports tourism. People had neither the opportunity, nor the time, nor the money for long-distance travel, and the Moscow Tourism Club (and this is a world-famous and very respected organization) came up with this way to help our tourists. In the old days, PVD groups numbered up to a thousand people, can you imagine that today? Weekend hikes are truly a great opportunity to take an active break from the city noise and everyday routine, and at the same time stretch your muscles, wander through forests and fields, ride a bike in the breeze, enjoy river views, and sit by the fire under the stars. In addition, this is a great opportunity to travel with families and children.

How can we stand out from our competitors? Quality of service and variety of offers. We employ only professional sports tourism instructors. All of them have special education, extensive practical experience and teaching experience. You will never see indifference in their eyes, they will always help with pleasure and patience, they will never remain indifferent, they will always come to the rescue. They will teach and tell. We have many times encountered unprofessionalism and indifference in commercial tourism and have firmly decided for ourselves that we will never allow ourselves to do this. We will strive to ensure that every trip remains a happy page in life for you.

Vladislav Chudakov, head of the Kulik tourist club.
