Sergei Sobyanin forwarded this question to a representative of the relevant department. He, in turn, noted that it is quite possible to do this - local measures and road expansion are needed.

Of course, many residents know that the Chertanovo station is located away from the Warsaw Highway and public transport does not go there. But it is often used for trips to dachas in south direction(Stupino, Kashira), local residents From here the most convenient way to get to Domodedovo airport is by train.

Recently, with the opening of a large shopping center and a supermarket, pensioners also began to often go to this area for shopping. It is simply impossible to calmly watch how elderly people with walking sticks and heavy bags walk from the shopping center to the stop on Varshavskoye Shosse.

“If public transport is allowed into the Dorozhnaya Street area, it will undoubtedly be a real gift to all local residents. In the meantime, we are suffering, we walk,” a pensioner admitted to our newspaper.

How can you get to Chertanovo station today? First, we take any public transport that goes to the “Torgovy Kompleks” stop on Varshavskoe Highway. From here the distance to the station is approximately 750 meters. It must be overcome on foot.

The average walk here takes about 10 minutes. Pedestrians need to cross the Warsaw Highway alternate at a controlled crossing. But many people prefer not to reach the traffic lights, but risk running across the backup next to the stop, seriously violating the rules traffic, but noticeably cutting off the route, shortening it.

Next, pedestrians head in the direction of Dorozhnaya Street, where they need to cross another controlled intersection. After that, it’s 400 meters in a straight line to the station. Young people can easily overcome this distance, but older people would like to get to the Chertanovo station by bus. It’s a bit far for them to walk here from Varshavka.

And people would like to see a public transport stop next to the station. As, for example, this was done on the opposite side - in the Tsaritsyno area. Here, people arriving at the Chertanovo railway station just need to cross a small bridge. On the Tsaritsyn side, of course, bus stops are located very conveniently for residents. But Chertanovo residents have to spend their time and energy to get to this area on foot.
