The maximum permissible weight of each set of sports equipment for free transportation is 20 kg. For heavier sports luggage there is a surcharge of 50 euros. The maximum weight of sports equipment is 32 kg. The transportation of sports equipment must be agreed upon with the airline in advance, since a limited number of pieces of such baggage are accepted on board.
Excess baggage
If baggage weighs more than is accepted by the airline, the airline charges an additional fee. The amount of additional payment is from 50 euros. The maximum weight of one piece of checked baggage is 32 kg. If baggage exceeds both quantity and weight limits, both fees will be charged at the same time.
Transportation of animals
Air Baltic transports animals both in the aircraft cabin and luggage compartment. Only dogs and cats are accepted for transportation. The airline may refuse transportation if the limit of animals on board has been exceeded, or the type of aircraft does not allow the transportation of animals.
