The fundamental condition was to check into a two-room suite, the tour operator offered a lady’s room (by the way, it is listed and described on the Top Hotels website), assuring that it was a two-room suite (I have two children, 5 and 12 years old). To all our questions about the two rooms, they explained to us that this is actually an open plan family room and there are simply no other rooms, and questions can only be directed to the tour operator. By the way, two more families moved in with us, one of whom had children aged 11, 15 and 17 years old, plus a mother. They got it even better because their room was even smaller and in the room, in addition to a double bed, there were only two folding beds, also open plan. Such a scam, they were also assured when purchasing the tour that this was exactly a two-room suite. I was surprised by the reaction of the guide on the spot, solve the problem with Moscow, but the guide on the spot is generally from the Greek side (tour operator Le Grand) and cannot help in any way. Even more interesting is the answer from the office in Moscow. We didn’t tell you this (at least I still have a recording of the conversation on my phone) and in the contract with the tour seller I stated that the room was a two-room one. So, when I return, I will definitely sue, simply out of a desire to punish for lying. You will say, well, what’s wrong here, well, the manager made a mistake, it doesn’t happen to anyone. It's not like that. The fact is that at the price for a room that the labyrinth was talking about, other tour operators in other hotels only have one-room rooms, and the price is noticeably lower, but their two-room rooms are higher in price, and this is true. Labyrinth decided to cheat (by the way, I think that the hotel couldn’t do it without some cunning, they are paid money) it actually sells an ordinary standard room at a significantly higher price than other tour operators do in any other hotel, but a little cheaper than a two-room if we compare analogues, they are essentially just deceiving tourists by calling the room a two-room one, which is actually not the case. When choosing a hotel, we all choose from various options, compare convenience, infrastructure, prices. But here it’s just nonsense, and a known one at that. So, write down the exact parameters of the number in the contract with the travel agency, as I did, and record telephone conversations; any smart phone has such a function that automatically records all conversations when recording and stores them. Fortunately, I’m a lawyer myself, I’m used to playing it safe. So, dear tourists, the labyrinth is lying to you, it does it deliberately, and receives money for it, that is, it has a material interest in its lies. At the hotel, I will also record on video all conversations with hotel representatives and will file a lawsuit in Russia. Lying for personal gain must be punished. The money will not be returned, and you will not receive compensation for this, but at least I will spoil the mood of the labyrinth, and I will easily post information about lies on networks and the press, even if they continue to work without nonsense. And as for the hotel itself. It’s hard to say yet, I’ve only been here for a day. At sea, a strong wind blows everything away, a 5-year-old child sits in a towel. Entering the sea is a stone slab, a bit difficult. Before the sunset, a muddy stream flows into the sea, it’s strange where this water flows from is unknown. The food is good. In general, I respect the Greeks very much and come here often, as the people are very friendly, welcoming and decent. It’s a pity that you weren’t so lucky with the tour operator. But these are no longer Greeks, but Russians. So it's not surprising. Then I’ll write more about my impressions.

As I wrote earlier, I want to add impressions to the review. The hotel area is very nice, green, compact. The hotel staff is beyond any competition. Just great guys, thank you very much to them, thanks to their sincere friendliness and professionalism you forget about the troubles with checking in. The kitchen is excellent in my opinion. As for small children under one year old, as I was asked about, I don’t see hot milk in the dining room, only from coffee machines, regular milk for breakfast is usually cool, I haven’t seen a microwave or bottle warmer in the restaurant, but there are kettles in the rooms. There is no special children's menu, but it is not required, since the cuisine is not spicy, European, and varied. Naturally, no one cooks porridge with milk in the morning, but nowhere is it cooked as is customary here in Russia, this is natural. There is only one store on site, it has everything in abundance, as befits such stores, I hope no one is waiting for the supermarket assortment. For lunch there is always soup, we even prepared borscht (!), soups are normal by the way, our child and we eat with pleasure. The wind from the sea is almost constant, when it is stronger, when it is weak, I can’t say that this is a problem, I like it, small children need to be covered, I think. The “stream” has already been absorbed into the sand, they have forgotten about it. Entering the sea using a stove is not always convenient, but in my opinion it is not a problem. The sea is clean, the water is a little cool, I like it, so it's a matter of taste. If you swim further, the water seems to be flaky, cold, warm, this is most likely because of the river that flows nearby and because of the springs. There is a television channel. Children communicate with animators with pleasure. As for the evening shows, the children like them, I don’t go to them, because I’ve seen enough of them 15 years ago. Nearby in Amudar, stops 7-8, there is a Carefour supermarket and a Lidl discounter, if anyone is interested and needs diapers or other small things. You can go to Heraklion to wander around the shops, buy souvenirs, buy butter, there are sales going on now, you can buy various things for children very inexpensively, unless of course everything is sold out. Maybe someone will be confused by the heating station nearby or the view from the window, in my opinion these are small things. As I said earlier, the big plus is the staff, the Greeks are just great, but I already wrote about this.
