We stayed here in May for 9 days, and it was very expensive as a family with 2 children. I felt like the value for money on what we paid was not great and that only included breakfast. It is far away from anything so GET A CAR otherwise you will be stuck paying ridiculous prices for lunch on the beach bar or next to the pool and the food isn’t great! So if you have young children be prepared to either pay half board or all inclusive. We went to a local town called Oristano (25 min drive) where there are many restaurants, but again with young children be prepared to eat dinner by 8/8:30 as that is the time most open out there and all restaurants close from 2:30 - 7:30pm The most local and amazing place was la Fattoria (a local farm run by a family) food was 30 Euro a head and we ate loads and drank loads plus the family were lovely. We travelled to Cagliari beach (1:45 mins away) one day and went to one of the beach bars there which was actually very nice. We travelled out of season in late May and weather was awful so defo travel in late June - August to get next weather. Overall there isn’t much there unless you are prepared to drive into different towns The one thing we did love was the staff, the guy that serves drinks at both bars is lovely and the kids club guy was also very lovely with the kids. …

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay at Is Arenas Resort, in the province of Oristano. We regret that your vacation experience was not entirely pleasant for you; about your comment on the Resort category and value, we would like to point out that the structure fully falls into the classification of 5 stars for the location, services and general infrastructure, being also, among other things, one of the few resorts surrounded by a vast pine forest and with exclusive access to a large private white beach. If you compare our rates with other 5 star hotels in the island, you"ll hardly find cheaper 5 stars resort. As for your comment on our food offer, we always suggest to book the half board treatment because we know about our location and more overe because we support our cuisine concept: lunches and dinners consist of Mediterranean dishes, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Each course is inspired by Italian and Sardinian cuisine, but is prepared with a sophisticated and innovative twist. The menu therefore offers appetisers and salads, pasta or rice dishes to start, meat and fish main courses with side dishes, and a choice of cheeses, fruits and desserts. There is always at least one vegetarian option per course and dishes without gluten or other allergens can always be prepared upon request. The beach of Is Arenas is located 400 mt from the hotel and it is about 5 km long. The beach service for guests includes 2 options: - Kit Comfort , with beach towel, 2 large sundebs and one umbrella at the cost of € 20 if booked and paid in advance or € 30 if booked at arrival at the hotel; - VIP Area , besides the Kit Comfort, it includes bar service on the beach to your sunbed and also fresh fruit snacks in the afternoon at the cost of € 28 if booked and paid in advance or € 40 per day if booked at arrival at the hotel.

The hotel is perfect for family and for nature lovers. The elegant interior furnishings, featuring clean lines and modern, were designed and created by the popular architect Lorenzo Bellini. The whole structure fits in perfect harmony with its surroundings and is designed to ensure the maximum respect.

In total the Is Arenas Resort has 136 rooms. All rooms have a bathroom with tub or shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi connection, TV, minibar, safety box.
Classic - approx. 30 sq.m., furnished in a modern style with a double bed.
Superior - approx. 36 sq.m., same equipment as the Classic. Possibility to add a child bed for children up to 5 years.
Junior Suite - approx. 43 sq.m., more spacious than the Classic rooms, additionally a small living corner with a sofa and a desk. Possibility to add a child bed for children up to 5 years.
Garden - spacious rooms ideal for a family, they can host up to max. 4 people (2 adults and 2 children up to 11 years).

Beach
The beach of Is Arenas is almost 5 km long and about 400 meters from the hotel away. In the surrounding there are other worth seeing beaches, like the little cove of Torre del Pozzo or the most spacious beaches of S"Archittu, Putzu Idu and Is Arutas.

A Kit Comfort for the beach is included in the price and offers one beach/pool towel per person, 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella per room.

With a supplement the VIP Area can be booked and includes: Kit Comfort, bar service at the umbrella, large sunbeds for € 40 per day or € 200 per week per room.

Wellness center
The wellness center at the Is Arenas Resort is designed to offer pleasant moments of relax, dedicated to physical and mental regeneration.
