“Fox Mountain” is an all-season sports and ski complex in Balashikha. The resort is quite young, but has already won the love of tens of thousands of residents of the capital region thanks to its modern infrastructure, beautiful landscapes, favorable ecology and many additional entertainments. “Fox Mountain” is perfect for ski lovers who do not have the opportunity or desire to travel abroad.
The Lisya Gora sports and ski complex is developing rapidly. Already, the owners have managed to bring the service to a level quite comparable with foreign ski resorts. The slopes are equipped to the highest international standards: the slopes are equipped with lifts, lanterns, and snow cannons. Experienced instructors provide all kinds of assistance to guests. There is an equipment rental station at Fox Mountain.
The complex belongs to the all-season category, which means that recreation here is possible at any time of the year. Of course, in the summer, skiing is not available, but you can roller skate, go hiking, fish, jogging, tennis, paintball and other outdoor activities.
The ski season on Fox Mountain begins in November and ends in May. Even when there is not much snow around, European-made snow guns provide the required quality of cover.
On the slopes of the sports and ski complex, the height difference is 65 m. In total, there are 5 trails of varying difficulty levels on “Fox Mountain”. Beginner skiers, children, experienced athletes and even professional extreme skiers can ski here. The slopes of the resort are especially good for beginners: the height difference is very comfortable for those who are just learning to ski or snowboard.
Slopes
West
The western slope is ideal for beginners. The sloping, wide track without sharp turns and jumps ensures a smooth and slow descent: what beginners who are not yet confident on skis require.
Eastern 1
The Vostochny 1 slope is intended for skiers with an average level of training. The track is quite flat, it begins with a smooth and slow descent, but then a sharp slope follows, accelerating the athlete to a very high speed. It’s not easy to stay on your feet, so before descending from “East 1” it’s worth practicing on the easier Western slope.
Vostochny 2
The route is of a universal type. The slope does not have significant differences, but it cannot be called gentle either. Skiers maneuver a lot on easy turns; there are several rather difficult climbs. Both beginners and experienced skiers can ski on the slope.
Northeastern
The northeastern slope of Fox Mountain belongs to the category of “black” slopes for extreme skiing. Only real pros of snowboarding or alpine skiing will be able to slide down this steep slope.
Training
The training slope is the first place visited by people who find themselves on Fox Mountain for the first time. In the company of an instructor, novice skiers will gain their first skills in maneuvering downhill.
All slopes of the Fox Mountain resort are illuminated according to FIS standards and equipped with modern lifts.
Services
If you decide to visit the Fox Mountain ski resort, you don’t need to immediately run to the sports store to buy skis and equipment. All equipment can be rented from the rental office on site. The pavilion is located next to the administrative building and the locker room.
Paintball
In addition to skiing, there are many other interesting things to do at the Fox Mountain complex. For example, paintball. Participants are divided into two teams, each of which is given special uniforms and weapons - guns loaded with paint balls. There are two paintball courts – large and small.
Ice rink
At the foot of Fox Mountain there is a skating rink built to the highest Olympic standards. The ice is of ideal quality, without cracks or irregularities. Both children and adults, and even real skaters, skate here.
Karting
In the summer, winter fun becomes unavailable, but life on Fox Mountain does not stop. In one part of the resort, a 500-meter karting track was built. Instructors will teach you how to operate different types of karts. Upon completion of the training, guests will be able to take part in races and feel like a Formula 1 pilot.

On holidays and weekends, electric garlands are lit above the sports and ski complex. Animators and artists invite guests to a fun theatrical and musical performance with competitions and. The show will especially delight children and schoolchildren.
Nutrition
The structure of the sports and ski complex “Fox Mountain” includes the cafe “At Five Pines”. The interior of the establishment is made in calm, natural colors. Guests are offered hot dishes, soups, borscht, meat, poultry, fish, grill, pancakes. Drinks include mulled wine, coffee, tea. A huge LCD screen broadcasts the tracks, and guests can watch their relatives and friends ride.
Accommodation
There are many accommodation options: the Sirenevaya and Sport hotels, the HelioPark Forum hotel, the Balashikha tourist center. You can also rent housing in the Adonis sanatorium, located near the Lisya Gora SGC. At the sanatorium, vacationers can additionally use the services of massage therapists, take a pine bath, or improve their respiratory system using a pressure chamber.
Prices
One climb to Fox Mountain will cost a skier 40 rubles. For a ski pass with 5-20 lifts you will have to pay 200-600 rubles. A weekend ski pass with 20 lifts costs 1,200 rubles.
On weekdays, all-season passes with 100 lifts are sold - price 2,500 rubles. Unlimited ski pass for the season – 25 thousand rubles. Prices valid as of 02/03/2018
How to get there
The sports and ski complex “Fox Mountain” is located 12 km from the Moscow Ring Road, within the city of Balashikha. You can get to the complex by minibuses No. 338 and 396: you should get on at the Shchelkovskaya metro station and go to the “Banya” and “Agrarian University” stops, respectively.
On any bus going to Balashikha, you need to get to the “Banya” stop, then walk 300 meters to the territory of the sports complex.
By car we go along the Entuziastov Highway towards Balashikha. We get to the Vertical shopping center, at the second traffic light after the shopping center we turn right and exit onto Leonovskoye Highway. After 100 m we make a right turn.
