Tram excursion. New Year and Christmas excursions by tram. Excursion on tram Annushka

"Moscow routes, familiar routes
Let's sit in the "bug" and wave at random:
In a wide circle, the Garden ring,
Through the narrow streets we’ll turn towards Arbat.”

Do you like to travel around the city by ground transport? I am very! When I have a choice between metro, tram/bus, I always choose the second option.
Can anything compare to a leisurely ride through the city streets? And if public transport still travels around the historical center, when it’s so interesting to look at passers-by and familiar sights from the bus window - it’s absolutely priceless))
In any new place, I always choose to travel by public transport; I begin to look at the city and people with completely different eyes.

City portal I have put together an interesting selection of routes for connoisseurs like me. I am sharing with you, friends.

The shortest bus route is A
The length of this route, stretching from Academician Zelinsky Street to the Universitet metro station, is only a little more than 3 kilometers. A pedestrian at average speed can cover this distance in 30-40 minutes. But when you are in a hurry, there is no time for walking, so the bus is very necessary here, especially considering that its main function is to connect two metro lines. He does this quickly, as he drives on a road free of traffic jams. It stops moving at 10 pm.

Unique route - monorail
From the Timiryazevskaya metro station to Sergei Eisenstein Street or back, you can travel on the only monorail in Russia, which began operating in November 2004 as an excursion route, because along it are located the entrance to the All-Russian Exhibition Center, the television center, the Sheremetev estate, and other Moscow attractions. Now about 20 thousand people use it every day. Metro tickets are valid here; you can transfer from the Timiryazevskaya and VVTs stations for free.

Tram route "Annushka" - A
This route has been operating for more than 100 years, and, undoubtedly, during this time it has become the most famous not only for Muscovites, but also for guests of the city. First, he walked along the Boulevard Ring, called “Ring A,” which Muscovites affectionately turned into “Annushka.” Then it changed its route several times and now starts from Kaluzhskaya Square and goes through the center of the capital to Chistye Prudy. Despite the change in direction, the people firmly attached the name to this route. Some readers of The Master and Margarita associate the name “Annushka” with the death of Berlioz, but in fact they have nothing in common. The peculiarity of “Annushka” is that it includes a restaurant car of the same name and the only one in Moscow.

Tram route No. 9 with a turnaround at a dead end
Not far from the Mendeleevskaya metro station there is an unusual tram route for Moscow, the trains of which consist of two coupled cars with 5 doors on each side. He walks along Lesnaya Street to the Belorussky Station. It was the large number of people and cars in the center, as well as the development of offices on the tram ring, that led to the use of the “push-pull” shuttle system, in which the cars, like in the subway, do not turn around, but travel back and forth, and their doors open on both sides .

The most tourist tram route is No. 39
The route of tram No. 39, like Annushki, begins at Chistye Prudy, then passes along the Boulevard Ring and ends at the University metro station. And it has always been this way, since its opening in 1963. It is touristy because, sitting in a tram car at the window, any tourist will see, passing, and where necessary, and leaving, ancient estates and houses, Donskoy and St. Daniel's monasteries, Lomonosovsky and Leninsky prospects with their Stalinist buildings. And having arrived at the final point, everyone can walk to the main building of the legendary Moscow State University.

The most tourist trolleybus route is No. 7
Some Muscovites prefer to travel by trolleybuses, and if their tourists ask them to name a route convenient for them, they will, of course, recommend No. 7. It goes from Kaluga Square (near Gorky Park) to Victory Park. These stops themselves will interest guests of the capital, and having settled down in a trolleybus, we drive along Leninsky Prospekt, further along Kosygina Street, then through the Vorobyovy Gory observation deck, then at the Moscow State University building and along the embankment of the Moskva River to the Kievsky railway station, at which we turn onto Kutuzovsky Prospekt and we move to the end. Any stop is an opportunity to see old and new Moscow.

The most innovative tram route - No. 1 7
What innovations could there be in the tram route? But they can: firstly, insulation of the canvas from road transport, secondly, a new technology for fastening rails and sleepers, thirdly, platforms for boarding and a tram step at the same level, fourthly, passengers are boarded at all doors. And fifthly, it is also planned to provide tram traffic lights for the “green wave” for ourselves. Don't believe that this can all happen? Take tram No. 17, which goes along the Ostankino-Medvedkovo route.

Trolleybus route "Bukashka" - B
Once upon a time, in 1912, on the Garden Ring, which was called “Ring B”, the place of horse-drawn cars was taken by a tram, which was replaced 25 years later by a trolleybus. Its route, naturally, was called “B”, but the name “Bukashka”, given by Muscovites to the tram, became familiar to the new type of transport. Now, on the outer and inner sides of the Garden Ring, passengers travel in trolleybuses with stencils “B-red” and “B-black”. On the outer route on Saturdays, paying no more for the fare than before, you will become a listener to bard songs.

Summer in Moscow is already coming to an end, but in the remaining warm days, Muscovites can still manage to do a lot of interesting things. We offer ten unusual options for excursions around Moscow for those who are tired of the usual walking or bus trips.

On bicycles

This year, cycling in Moscow is experiencing almost a rebirth - bicycle paths, parking lots and rentals of “iron horses” are appearing. Therefore, the creation of excursion tours on bicycles around the capital became a logical continuation.

The city hosts both simple bicycle excursions and bicycle rides in the format of educational games (“bike quests”). The schedule of these events can be found on the website.

Games are played in teams of 1 to 5 people, all participants move around the city on bicycles. The essence of the game is to find all the places inside the Garden Ring, encrypted in the quest tasks in the minimum time. The team that correctly solves all the tasks the fastest wins. The game is played during the day, the maximum playing time is 5 hours. You can participate in the game either on your own bike or on a rental one. The team contribution to participate in the game is 1000 rubles.

While pedaling you can not only enjoy the architectural heritage of Moscow, but also. The cost of such an excursion is 400 rubles with your own bicycle and 900 rubles with rental. For those who want to independently explore Moscow on a two-wheeled friend, the company has developed separate cycling routes that anyone can explore.

On Segways

In Moscow, these unusual electric scooters are still rare, but in the West they are even used in work - for example, by police officers or postal workers.

For those who are already familiar with this scooter and have long wanted to try riding it, the Segwayfan company decided to combine business with pleasure and came up with sightseeing tours of the capital or photo promenades on Segways. You can take a group or individual tour. The group consists of two to eight people, not counting the accompanying instructor.

Excursions begin at 5:30 am, last “check-in” at 20:30; The trip lasts about two hours. True, such excursions are not cheap - 3,500 rubles.

On electric vehicles

Starting this summer, visitors to the Kolomenskoye Museum-Estate can book a sightseeing tour in an electric car. Excursions start from the Spassky Gate and last from 10-15 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on the choice of route. You can ride an electric car every day except Monday. Ticket prices range from 100 to 250 rubles; beneficiaries are offered a discount.

Ticket price for horse-drawn carriages: 100 rubles for adults and 50 rubles for children under 7 years old. Horseback riding will cost 100 rubles, as well as a pony ride.

Tram excursions around Moscow were organized back in 1989. Since then, the tram-tavern “Annushka” has become an integral part of the Boulevard Ring. You are offered several options for a walk, differing in duration and theme. Let's tell you everything in more detail.

Route No. 2 (Eastern District)

The tram passes through Metrogorodok, Bogorodskoye, Preobrazhenskoye and Sokolinaya Gora. During the trip, you will pass through the favorite places of the residents of these areas - the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (stop "Bogorodsky Temple") and Preobrazhenskaya Square.

The Bogorodsky Church is the only wooden church from the 19th century that has survived in Moscow. It contains real shrines: the especially revered icons of the Mother of God of Tikhvin, Smolensk, Jerusalem, “Joy of All Who Sorrow”, icons of the Prophet Elijah, St. Sergius and Seriphim, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker with a Life and others.

The roots of the name of both the square and the area itself come from the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Under Soviet rule, the temple remained one of the few operating churches in the capital. In 1963, the authorities decided to demolish the church in connection with the construction of the metro, and a year later the church was already closed and prepared for demolition. In 2009, the church began to be restored. Today the temple with the refectory has been completely recreated almost in its original form. Specialists raised the building onto a stylobate 4.2 meters high, which allowed the temple to become a dominant feature in the modern ensemble of Preobrazhenskaya Square and gave the parish additional premises.

Route No. 3

The tram travels through the Southern, Southwestern and Central districts of the capital. The stops of greatest interest will be “Serpukhovskaya Zastava”, “St. Danilov Monastery”, “Danilovsky Val Street”, “Paveletskaya Metro”, “Tretyakovskaya Metro” and “Novokuznetskaya Metro”.

In the park on the northern side of Serpukhovskaya Zastava Square there is a monument to Prince Daniil of Moscow, erected in honor of the 850th anniversary of the founding of the Mother See and in honor of the holy missus Prince Daniil Alexandrovich. The prince is depicted on the monument in rich clothes, holding a temple in his left hand and a sword in his right. The temple in his left hand serves as a symbol of his religiosity and devotion to works of charity, piety and mercy. And the sword in the sheath symbolizes the ruler’s love of peace, because the prince used weapons only as a way of political pressure on opponents, and not bloody internecine wars.

St. Daniel's Monastery is located on the right bank of the Moscow River. This is a stauropegic monastery, that is, subordinate to Patriarch Kirill - Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On Danilovsky Val there is a Mint, where coins, medals and orders are prepared under state orders, and a small chapel of Daniil of Moscow, built in the neo-Russian style. On its facade there are mosaic icons of Alexander Nevsky, Daniil of Moscow, Ivan Kalita and Dmitry Donskoy.

It’s worth taking a look around at the Paveletskaya Metro stop, because the famous Paveletsky Station is located here. This major transport hub connects Moscow with the Middle and Lower Volga region and the cities of the Caucasus. Paveletsky Station serves more than 10 thousand passengers daily. An interesting fact: in 1924, a train carrying the body of Vladimir Lenin arrived at the station. In honor of this event, the station square received the name of the leader and bore it from 1941 to 1992. In 1979–1980, the pavilion-museum “Lenin's Funeral Train” was located here.

Don't miss the Tretyakovskaya metro stop. Here is located one of the key attractions of the capital - the Tretyakov Gallery, which contains the world's largest collection of Russian paintings, graphics and sculpture. And also near this stop is Shurik’s house from the film “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession,” where the film was filmed.

Many sights can be seen if you stop at the Novokuznetskaya Metro stop. For example, the Church of Clement Pope, which is especially beautiful at sunset. The temple was built on a royal scale, and the magnificent decoration in the Baroque and Rococo styles gives it solemnity and majesty.

Route No. 7

This route passes through the Eastern and Central districts of Moscow. When boarding tram number 7, do not miss four stops: Komsomolskaya Square, Prospekt Mira metro station, Olimpiysky Sports Complex and Gilyarovskogo Street.

Any Muscovite will recognize Komsomolskaya Square: it is the area of three train stations, where three important transport hubs are located - Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky and Kazansky railway stations. By the way, the area is also famous in culture - the song “Komsomolskaya Square” was performed at different times by Eduard Khil and the vocal and instrumental ensemble “Gems”.

Near the Prospekt Mira metro station there is a whole bunch of attractions. Perhaps one of the most interesting places on this list is the Hospice House, known almost throughout the world. A luxurious architectural structure in a classical style is located on the northern side of Bolshaya Sukharevskaya Square.

If you fall asleep at the Olympic Sports Complex stop, you will miss one of the largest sports and entertainment venues in Russia and Europe. At various times, significant sporting competitions took place here: the 1980 Olympic Games, world championships in various sports, European championships (gymnastics, taekwondo, swimming, traditional karate and volleyball), the first World Youth Games and much more. In addition, domestic and foreign musicians often perform concerts here, gathering fans from all over Russia.

The key attraction of Gilyarovsky Street is the Solodovnikov Apartment House - a cultural heritage site, which is also known as the “Free Citizen” complex for singles.

Route No. 8

This route runs in the Eastern and Central districts of the capital. There is only one stop of interest here that is worth stopping at - the Moscow Transport Museum. Here you can see a large collection of vintage cars and public transport. By the way, at the end of September an exhibition of stencils with metro and ground transport routes from different years appeared here.

Route No. 9

It is worth going on this tram to the final stops - Miussky Park, Metro Belorusskaya and Tverskaya Zastava.

Miussky Park is located in the Tverskoy district of the capital. In summer and autumn it is especially pleasant to walk here. Under the lush crowns of trees painted bright green or fiery red, time will fly by.

At the Belorusskaya metro stop, pay attention to the apartment building of F. Yezersky, built in the Art Nouveau style. Its main decoration is the wavy attic, supported by the oval windows of the upper floor.

The stop “Tverskaya Zastava Square” is interesting because of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In the post-war years, art workshops were kept here.

Route No. 13

On this route, you will come across an interesting sight at the Sokolniki Metro stop. This is not about the park: due to the construction of the Stromynka metro station, it will not be possible to see the park. But you will see the Sokolniki fire tower. The fire station was built in 1884 after many requests from Muscovites. The tower served to prevent a fire: earlier, in the 19th century, there were not so many high-rise buildings in Moscow, so the structure made it possible to see a fire from a great distance. Today the height of the tower seems insignificant. Currently, it houses the Department of the Main Fire Service of the Eastern District.

Route No. 17

The tram passes through the territory of the North-Eastern district of Moscow. On weekends its route is much shorter, with only seven stations. You don’t even have to get off the tram, you will see everything through the window. There is VDNKh Park, where tourists from all over the world come to visit the famous pavilions, and the huge sculpture “Worker and Collective Farm Woman,” which serves as a symbol of the Soviet era, and, of course, the Ostankino Tower, which is visible from almost every corner of the capital. From its top there is a stunning view of Moscow - the Mother See seems so small that you are amazed.

In contrast to the countless number of bus tours, a tram tour not only allows you to get acquainted with the history of the city, but is also an unusual entertainment in itself. Having searched the Internet for such a service in Moscow, I was able to find only two suitable offers. And then, only one of them turned out to be a real tram.

Excursion tram 302 – BIS

  • Duration: 1.5 hours (an hour in Moscow, 15 minutes in the museum)
  • When: from Wednesday to Sunday at 15.00, 17.00 and 19.00
  • Where: Art. Pushkinskaya metro station
  • Price: 500 rubles
  • Website: www.dombulgakova.ru

In fact, unfortunately, this is not a tram, but only a bus stylized as one. On the other hand, it would simply be impossible to travel along this excursion route by tram. The tram museum offers guests a journey through the era of the 20-30s of the beginning of the century. The route begins from the Bulgakov House. Further on you can see the Garden-Aquarium, the Satire Theater, Tverskoy Boulevard, the Griboyedov House, Patriarch's Ponds, Margarita's mansion and many other places associated with the life and work of Bulgakov.

Tram-restaurant

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Where: Art. metro Chistye Prudy or Shabolovka
  • Price: RUB 3,880
  • Website: Tram Annushka

Judging by articles on the Internet, this tram has existed since at least 2005. At that time, the interior of the inn on wheels was not very attractive and resembled a modest eatery on a provincial road. Now it’s a pretty decent, beautiful place, with neat waiters and a pleasant interior. During the trip, they tell love stories from the lives of famous people who once lived in Moscow. Live music plays in the carriage and poetry performances are performed.

Tram route A

An ordinary regular tram, which you can ride on for the price of a ticket on public transport in Moscow. The downside is that there is no guide and it may be crowded during peak hours. Therefore, it is better to choose a time when there are not very many people.
