But we have an amazing opportunity to look into this past... and even though much of what is available to us today has already been subject to the destructive influence of time, this will not prevent us from fully experiencing the grandeur of the palace today recognized as a masterpiece of manor architecture, erected in the 18th century in the village of Stary Merchik - on the Shidlovsky estate. And the splendor of the Sharovsky Castle-Palace is simply “breathtaking”! At the beginning of the 20th century, under the last owner, sugar factory Leopold König, the castle, which had been rebuilt many times, took on its final form. Sharovsky Park, founded at the beginning of the 19th century, is today the best monument of landscape architecture in the Kharkov region. Another estate, founded at the turn of the century at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, is associated with the name of sugar manufacturer Pavel Kharitonenko. The estate was named after his granddaughter - Natalevka. The park and the estate have undergone significant changes, but the preserved Church of the Most Merciful Savior will blow your mind. And this is the merit of those who created it with intelligence and love a century ago. In a secluded picturesque corner between Krasnokutsk and the village of Gorodneye you can find an amazing place - the Singing Terraces. And in order to maintain the intrigue... we will reveal all the secrets of the Terraces on the spot! Krasnokutsk Arboretum is a natural monument created by human hands. Autumn is the time when foliage on trees and shrubs and grass bloom especially beautifully. Nature, already bizarre and surprising with its diversity, becomes even more beautiful! Every bush, every tree in the park has its own story - interesting and educational. All this splendor is worth seeing once and you will want to come back here again and again!
