The buildings have: a storage room, an ironing room, a room for drying shoes and clothes, air conditioners, and coolers. The squads are staffed according to age. There are 25-26 people in squads.

Nutrition

Baby food 5 times a day in a well-equipped dining room for 550 seats, according to the approved menu, vitamin buffet. Waiters serve.

Chaika was chosen by screening out other camps where children were not looked after, where the food was not very good, where the counselors were not very sociable. Among the advantages: 24-hour security, food is top five, teachers go through some kind of selection... not from the street at all, the programs are interesting for children, I like this feature more like watching movies. There is a beach. The climate is pleasant and mild. In general, everything that should be in a normal camp is there. I can't say anything bad. I have long wanted to send my child to a camp by the sea and was still afraid to let her go far away from herself. While I was afraid, the child grew to 12 years old, and even the neighbor boy shared his impressions. In the end, I made up my mind, and in August 2017, my son spent almost a month relaxing at sea, in the Chaika camp, in the Tuapse district in the Krasnodar Territory. The place is wonderful, both from reviews and from my son’s impressions. The children lived there in comfortable conditions, engaged in various interesting and useful activities. Each building has everything you need for minor repairs of clothes and shoes.

There is a health center on site. 24-hour medical care is provided by qualified doctors and nurses. There is an ambulance. Prophylaxis of the upper respiratory tract is carried out. We were on vacation with our family, and the most important thing for the family was that we had three meals a day with “buffet elements”; overall, it was very good and varied; I won’t describe it, but I will say that there are dietary porridges without milk and salt, broths, there is also French-style meat and hot sandwiches. By the way, one day the oatmeal porridge turned sour, I suspect that sour milk was to blame. You can choose glass houses if you don’t have any money at all, but you want to visit here, in other cases it’s dangerous, because... There is nothing in them except beds and huge windows on both sides, covered with curtains. There are rooms with amenities on the floor, they are more decent, although the prices will still be moderate. There are rooms with their own amenities and I would recommend them, and individual cottages for unreasonable sums, depending on who you choose. They also have houses withseveral rooms, no matter who will be accommodated there, preference is given to “ours and ours” and to groups with children, because There are about 10 sleeping places in 4 rooms. The option is not bad if you can agree. The price is the same as a room with amenities on the floor, but the comfort is many times greater, it has its own kitchen, refrigerator, toilet and bathroom, air conditioning in a large room. When we were on vacation in mid-August, all the more or less decent rooms were booked in advance by prudent vacationers, only a couple of glass units were free. The place as a whole is very beautiful and cozy, like a camp I would say. An ideal place for a family with children, under ONE CONDITION, that you are ready to walk to the sea from the mountain, and back up the mountain, it feels like the height difference is 50-70 meters with 200 meters covered, and this is not much on paper, but to make it clearer, this is a height of 14 storey building. For us it was a pleasant cardio exercise, but for some it will be unbearable and no one warned us about this in advance, but it should have been! On the territory there are abandoned glass buildings with stunning views from the windows onto the tree crowns, I don’t understand why they weren’t reconstructed to a sane state... The seashore in this place is stone with “sand elements”)) there are more or less acceptable approaches, but sometimes you can get knee-deep hit a rock underwater. On calm days, the water is transparent and you can see every grain of sand at a depth of one and a half meters and how they scatter with every step. It’s clear that the beach is cleaned sometimes, and since there aren’t that many parking spaces near the beach (people just park on the side of the road), there’s enough space for everyone and there’s no overcrowding. Advice: when going down to the beach, do not go across the road, but under the bridge and go to the right of the river, when you go out to the beach you will see large sun canopies with benches and loungers, take the places that are farthest from the sea, lay out your towel and lie there even until sunset, no one will see you will drive you out and the sun won’t reach you.
