The best places in Crimea for jumping from cliffs with a rope. Rope jumping in Crimea Can everyone afford such entertainment?

Quiet office work contributes to the desire among young people to tickle their nerves and get a certain adrenaline rush.

Demand creates supply. And extreme sports enthusiasts are already offered flights on hang gliders and paragliders. Parasailers fly over the water on parachutes attached to the boat, daredevils master light aviation, windsurfing boards, riding the waves on a board propelled by a kite (kite surfing), diving...

And there are excellent conditions for all this in Crimea.

But life cannot remain stagnant, and innovative ways to test your courage and experience thrills are emerging.
Rope jumping is a young sport and very extreme. The athlete jumps from a great height using a rather complex shock absorption system consisting of climbing ropes and equipment. The jump itself may or may not include a free fall phase. Experienced masters demonstrate beautiful acrobatic elements at the moment of free fall. Extreme sports enthusiasts get a lot of vivid impressions at this attraction.

In extreme types of recreation, the most important condition is their safety.
Safety in rope jumping is ensured by three main components:

  • - quality of equipment;
  • — level of knowledge and training of trainers;
  • — coherence and competence of the organizing team.

Therefore, before testing your own courage, you need to make sure that all components are impeccable, carefully look at how each performs its functions and how they all work together. It is very important to test your equipment, because your health and life itself depend on it. Don't take risks if you have the slightest doubt about anything.

Features of Crimean rope jumping.

When a person parachutes from an airplane, the earth looks like a topographic map to him, and it doesn’t seem so scary.
The one who stands on the top of the rock has a completely different feeling. What is below is close enough, and it is much scarier! But there is much more drive and adrenaline.

Rope jumping in Crimea, although it appeared recently, almost immediately became popular. Thrill-seekers come here from different cities of our country and from abroad. And all because the local rocks seem to be specially created for rope jumping - they are steep and easy to reach.

The largest object for rope jumping in the CIS is located on the southern coast of Crimea. This is the Shaan-Kaya rock.
But it is far from the only place on the peninsula favored by fans of extreme jumps. They can be found on Ai-Petri, in the New World (right above the “Chaliapin Grotto”) and not only. Moreover, every year there are more such “jumpers”.

But what is surprising is that there are few Crimean organizations that would professionally engage in this type of sport (recreation, entertainment).
Perhaps the reason is the need for experience and special knowledge. Of course, there must be both the highest quality equipment and personal passion, because before putting the object into operation, the organizers need to test it thoroughly on themselves.

The approximate price for a jump across Crimea is 1,500 rubles.

How does this happen?

Rope jumping is carried out using climbing equipment. The ropes are secured to two rock ledges. They cushion a person during a jump. The system is duplicated for security purposes, so that if the first one fails, the second one can connect. Carabiners and ropes can withstand up to several tons when tested for tensile strength.

The shock absorption system follows the jumping person. A few seconds of free fall (they may seem like an eternity), then braking, and that’s it... the hero swings like a pendulum.

Can everyone afford such entertainment?

No! There is a whole list of diseases for which route jumping is contraindicated. These include, for example:
— various spinal injuries;
- problems with blood pressure;
- heart disease;
- certain vision problems and so on.
Women who are pregnant should not jump.
Before the jump, everyone is asked to fill out a special form (registration sheet), which contains a complete list of such diseases.

Ropejumping expedition to Crimea

Crimea is ours, friends! As part of the expedition on November 22-29, 2015, the Extreme Family team jumped two of the most picturesque Crimean rocks - Alimova Balka and Ilyas-Kaya!

A month before, Georgy Solovyov traveled the entire peninsula, exploring all kinds of rocks. His main goal was to find suitable objects for a further expedition. The reconnaissance was successful and our choice fell on Alimov Balka and Ilyas-Kaya.

At the start of the expedition, on November 22, part of the team was already in the Crimean Koktebel as part of a joint paragliding trip with our friends from the Distan flight school. After reuniting with the rest of the expedition members, we picked up Stas Aksenov, our friend from the Sinner Team, in Simferopol and set off towards the first rock in our busy schedule. So, 8 people, 2 cars loaded with equipment, 2 magnificent rocks and 7 days!
Go!

Alimova beam

Initially, the first mountain in our plan was Mount Ilyas-Kaya, but after making a short stop for dinner and getting acquainted with the new weather forecast data, plans had to be changed. Strong gusty winds were forecast with a background wind of 20 m/s on the coast. Mount Ilyas-Kaya is located in the coastal line, so it became clear that it would not be possible to mine this rock in such conditions. Therefore, our small motorcade of two cars turned around and headed for the village of Bashtanovka in the well-known Kachinsky Canyon, to go to Alimov Balka in the morning.

Alimova beam is located under the ancient city of Bakhchisarai, opposite the famous among rope jumpers, base jumpers* and ordinary tourists of Kachi-Kalon. The name of the rock is apparently associated with the robber Alim, the “Crimean Robin Hood”. There are so many legends and archaeological discoveries associated with this rock that even we, while climbing up with heavy equipment, managed to absorb a piece of history. But everything is in order!

On November 22, we arrived in the village of Bashtanovka, famous among tourists due to its convenient location and proximity to Kachi-Kalyon. I would like to immediately note that upon arrival in Bashtanovka, the power went out on the entire peninsula due to the undermining of power lines on the Ukrainian side. At that time we did not yet know that this was a long-term shutdown, and we calmly went to bed. So we spent the entire expedition practically without communications and light. But this did not hinder us at all; we went out to the rock at dawn and returned when it began to get dark, having dinner in the evenings by the light of headlamps.

On the morning of November 23, our team began transporting equipment to Alimov Balka. For some of us, such a walking route, with backpacks loaded to capacity, was new. The first climb is always the hardest: many have not yet recovered from the long journey and have not had time to adjust to the new intensity of physical activity, however, for us this only added positivity and impressions, because the harder the path, the happier the achievement of the goal. But, having climbed up to the plateau, we were all rewarded with breathtaking views of the gorge, the Kachi-Kalyon grottoes and the panorama of the mountainous Crimea. In the distance one could see the outlines of the majestic Chatyr-Dag, a mountain range in the south of the peninsula. Amazed by the beauty around us, we admired the views for a bit and got to work.

Alimova Balka greeted us with strong gusts of wind: sometimes we couldn’t hear our own speech because of the rustling clothes - it was scary to even think what was happening on Ilyas, we were in the depths of the peninsula and it still blew quite a bit. So Stas had to postpone his jumping plans for now base* .

Before us, Alimova Beam had already been jumped by Sergei Nefedov as part of the Ropejumping school, so all the rope attachment points were prepared. But one of the main goals of our trip was to practice coordinated team work on the rock, so we filled all the attachment points ourselves, and besides, this was a more correct decision in terms of reliability. By the end of the first day, the entire system was tied up and the first test load was dropped. Let's jump! It got dark, and we, tired but incredibly happy, began our descent. In the evening, having dinner in almost pitch darkness, we, interrupting each other, discussed the first day of work and shared our impressions. A slight excitement captured everyone, because we all understood that tomorrow there would be the first jumps!

The next day, November 24, having climbed the rock, the first thing we did was check all the points, the system, everything was in perfect order. Sasha Tomozov, dressed in the system and ready for I'll jump**, stood at the exit*** , everyone was in their places to take pictures, shoot videos, control the work of the ropes...5, 4, READY, SET, GOOO!...The jump...a few seconds of exciting anticipation...and the enthusiastic screams of Sashka and all the guys on the rock! Alimova's beam is upside down! On the same day, several of our instructors and a jumper from Stas Aksenov made jumps. His jump was in all the traditions of the SinnerTeam - on hooks. Quite an unusual sight - the top of a plateau, an autumn forest, leaves painted with gold, a man lying on the ground, whose back Stas, smiling provocatively, pierces. Even we, who were used to jumping on hooks, seemed to be more worried. Everything went well, and as darkness fell, we went down to the village to celebrate a successful day!

We stayed in Bashtanovka for one more day so that all members of the expedition could thoroughly enjoy jumping from this wonderful object! Despite the fact that the height of the exit is only 70 meters, the jumps left everyone with a lot of impressions and positive emotions. Still, rocks in this regard cannot be compared with towers, bridges and abandoned buildings. Having jumped a lot, our team quickly removed the ropes and before dark, under the rays of a beautiful sunset, went down, without resting, we went to Laspi.

Ilyas-Kaya

Ilyas-Kaya is a mountain near Sevastopol, on which the monastery of St. Elijah was previously located, founded by the Greeks in the middle of the 12th century. Only parts of the foundation remain from the monastery. And a little lower, on the rise to the top of the mountain, there is a place popularly called “Stone Flower”, “Crimean Stonehenge” or “Temple of the Sun”, considered one of the most powerful energy points in Crimea. The mountain itself consists of several “fingers” stretching into the sky towards the sun.

The wind forecast for the 26th and 27th was suitable, and on the evening of the 27th the calm was supposed to end. So we literally had a couple of days to rig and jump.

We were interested in the very first “finger” of Delikli-Burun, the exit height of which was about 80 meters. In order to get to the second point of attachment of the base ropes, I had to go through the top to the next “finger”, going down the route “Dunno on the Moon” (difficulty 5c/6a), and after securing it, climb back along it.

The summit greeted us with a thick cloud, but after a while it opened up a wonderful view of the coastline. We even stopped descending for a while to admire this spectacle. Having reached the point, we needed to stretch the base ropes from one rock to another through the bottom cord**** . The distance between the rocks was 120 meters. This became a truly big and difficult task. Below, on the flattening of the mountain, everything was completely overgrown with trees and bushes, and it was necessary to run a cord through this forest in such a way that when pulling it to the top, it would not get caught on anything. I had to pull the cord tight, making intermediate attachment points. This hellish task took about four hours to complete!

For lunch, we were joined by the head of the Crimean Jump&fly team, Alexey Kovalenko. We had just completed the hitch: everything was ready to drop the test load. And now our long-suffering trunk is again filled with stones, and, at the count of “5, 4, Ready, Set, GO!”, it flies down the exit. The whole system worked perfectly: the first working day on the rock was completed.

The jump day on November 27 was opened again by Alexander Tomozov. His jump was accompanied by joyful cries from the rest of the expedition members, notifying the surrounding area about the start of team jumps! Adrenaline and positive emotions were simply off the charts that day, only enhanced by the stunning views surrounding us.

Andrey Tereshchenkov closed the jumps by performing his signature gainer in a rear-mount system. The practiced, beautiful acrobatics looked amazing against the backdrop of the picturesque coastal landscape. Andrey did not dare to perform this stunt on Alimova Balka due to the fact that he received a minor injury while learning the art of paragliding on the eve of the expedition, and was afraid of the consequences. But now, feeling much better, I pleased everyone with my skill.

Already by the time of Andrey’s jump, it began to blow, so he had to choose “quiet periods” between the gusts, and after the jump, a strong wind rose and it started to drizzle. Everyone exhaled: “We made it!” We took off the ropes and headed down.

A slight sadness came over everyone, because despite the positive emotions we received from jumping and working on the rocks, we all understood perfectly well that our expedition was coming to an end and the road home awaited us tomorrow. During the farewell dinner, we shared our impressions of the past week. But everyone agreed on one thing: our expedition was a success! We are a real team!

We express special gratitude to Stas Aksenov (SinnerTeam team) and Alexey Kovalenko (Jump&Fly team) for their assistance.

1 Base, abbr. from BASE jumping - extreme in sport ID , which uses a special parachute to jump from stationary objects.

2 Jump - The first jump with a rope from a newly prepared object is made after checking the system with a test load.

3 Exit - the point from which the jump is made, often equipped with a platform.

4 Rep cord is a static rope with a diameter of 4-8 mm of round section with a protective braid. It is used in mountaineering, rock climbing and speleology exclusively to perform auxiliary functions.

Only extreme individuals can experience the feeling of free flight. Giving yourself an unforgettable leap of a lifetime that will flash before your eyes in a matter of moments is a reality. For some, this may seem reckless, but for some, the release of adrenaline is simply vital, like insulin for a diabetic, like oxygen for any living creature, and then you start looking for it, looking everywhere.

"Jump to live!" This is how you can describe the motto of ropejumpers in a few words. They jump to get a good shake and prove to themselves and the world that they are the chosen ones, because not everyone is given the ability to overcome the instinct of self-preservation and take a step into the abyss. Rope flying is for strong people.

During a jump, a shock absorption system is activated and dynamic belay is used, thanks to which the jerk experienced by a person during a jump is reduced. Advanced rope jumpers even manage to perform acrobatic tricks in the air. They say that once you decide on such an adventure, you will never be able to stop.

Where is the rock?

Shaan-kai hangs like an isosceles triangle over the city of Alupka. The height of the mountain is 250 meters. You can drive almost to its foot by car, but then you will have to leave the vehicle, as the protected area begins. A wide dirt road leads to the rock, along which foresters travel. There is a mountain forest here, it is almost deserted, here the air smells of pine needles and you feel complete privacy.

Jumping from the Shaan-kai cliff is not just a jump; first you will need to carry out a difficult climb, but what will be revealed to your eyes is worth it to “crawl” upward, overcoming fatigue. From here an unforgettable view of the forest, coast and sea surface opens up; you immediately want to grab a camera to take at least a piece of this beauty with you.

The rock is tilted forward, its slope is negative, the free fall is 150 m deep, the flight takes place over the protected Crimea, all these factors together determine the place for jumping.

Step and fly

By jumping, you will reach speeds of up to 180 km/h! It takes a surprisingly long time to fly, during which time you can fully experience what the birds feel when circling over the Crimean pines. The jump here is not like jumping, for example, from a bridge; the breathtaking height does its job.

Here you literally push yourself off the cliff in defiance of all self-preservation instincts. With every second of flight, your speed increases by 35 km/hour.

Here you manage to experience a feeling of wild horror several times, but you still continue to fly. I want to close my eyes tightly and scream in fear. But then the reset system is triggered and only one thought pulsates in my head: “I’m whole,” which is replaced by a more insistent: “I want to experience this again!” Flying over the forest, perhaps for the first time, you feel what real freedom is.

Organizational aspects

You can come here with an organized group and live away from civilization for a whole week. For an unprepared person, such a long break from civilization will be especially exotic. On the first and second days, the installation and fastening of equipment takes place; on the next three jumps, a day is always given in reserve in case of unfavorable weather.

In order to jump, you need excellent health; an experienced instructor will ask you in detail about your health and identify contraindications. It should be noted that beginners will not even be allowed to the edge of the cliff; they must have experience, not in words, but documented or otherwise confirmed.

Are you a fan of extreme sports? Are you always in pursuit of the most thrilling sensations? Can’t imagine your life without adrenaline rushes and rapid heartbeat? Then you should definitely come to Alupka to commit the greatest recklessness of your life!

I failed, I came across an advertisement completely by accident. rope jumping in Crimea. Rope jumping was supposed to take place in Crimea near the cape Fiolent. The decision was immediate: the business didn’t work, we had to throw ourselves off the cliff :)

I won’t delay, just a beautiful photo of rope jumping with me in the leading role =)

Rope jumping I've been on a mission for a long time and in every country I've traveled to, I've been looking for opportunities to rope jump. Even in Crimea last year, I specifically googled it, but didn’t find anything.

Then I learned about several places, but they did not fit the format, because there the jump was carried out simply into the rocks or simply into the forest. I wanted to rope jump near the water.

In Sochi in the sky park cool place, but give away 18,000 rub.(!!!) for such a jump it is beyond my understanding. You can skydive THREE TIMES for this money.

In the end, like most good things in life, things happen unexpectedly. Googling photos of Cape Fiolent in Crimea (we were just planning to go there from Evpatoria), I came across a VKontakte group of guys who organize rope jumps throughout Crimea.

These guys try to go to different places, and on the very day when I was planning to go to Fiolent, it coincided that the jumps were held that very day there!

How did rope jumping go?

We arrived at the designated place for the jump, right by car, almost to the very cliff. When I got out of the car to look around, the coolness of this place took my breath away. This is just a dream place!

not far from Cape Fiolent, the landscape is stunning

If you show someone a photo of this place at Fiolent and ask where this place is, you can easily hear the answer that it is Cyprus or Greece, for example. There are absolutely the same stunning landscapes. There is no need to travel far; Crimea also has stunning landscapes.

The jump at Cape Fiolent is carried out from a height of 62 meters. At first, I thought, what nonsense, not enough (I have experience 🙂), but when I stood on a cliff... 62 meters is absolutely enough to feel what rope jumping is. My adrenaline immediately started pumping.)

Preparation for the jump is elementary. The instructors put on you a jump system, a helmet and give you short information on what and how to do. That's it, forward to, as they say, exit. You are attached to a rope, the instructor assembles it in a special way and then gives the command. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... JUMP!

My emotions from rope jumping in Crimea

Honestly, I'm crazy. Screaming like a victim!) When you jump out of a plane from a height of 4 km, everything is somehow simpler, or something. From a great height and flying for a really long time and everything looks just like a Google map, it’s not scary at all. But when you fall from a small height upside down into rocks... it’s completely different.

It’s as if your brain is screaming at you that you’re an idiot and we’re going to crash right now... but the rope knows its job and catches you before it reaches you.) The sensations are very unique. Scary to the point of madness. I think this feeling of fear will be lost after a few jumps.

Scary, yes, but I got high, got high from the heart. I was already rebooted from the problems that had piled up, I was very pleased.

I definitely recommend it to anyone who is wondering whether to try rope jumping or not!

At the end of the fall, when the rope catches you, you ride away from the rock along the cables

Details about rope jumping in Crimea

The first, most logical question is price. The guys charge only 2000 rubles for this pleasure. It's actually very cheap for what you get and compared to other deals I've seen.

Of the health restrictions, the main thing is that the heart is in order and there are no serious back injuries. By the way, the rope picks up very gently. When the same parachute opens, the impact is many times stronger.

There is a limit on body weight; up to 125 kg are allowed for rope jumping.

The technique of jumping with a rope is explained several times, but you understand, adrenaline, lack of jumping experience. I jumped out perfectly, but then I messed up. One of the important points is that you need to tilt your head up. I looked down, forgot everything out of fear, lowered my head and, accordingly, flew not level, but upside down.

Because of this, my legs kicked up. It was thrown unevenly and, in turn, because of this, I was turned 180 degrees with my head into the rock during the fall. You shouldn't do that.

When the jump technique is followed from start to finish, then the flight will be even more enjoyable.

Organizing time. There is a steep cliff all around, the sea below. If you jump, you will jump, but how to get back? The organizers took care of this. Immediately after the jump, you are lowered into a boat on the same rope and taken to a place where you can climb up.

They do not charge any extra money for this. Plus, the guys also take photos and shoot with a camera for free, they quickly posted the photos, but I never got to see the video. Here, by the way,

Maiskie, Crimea. You are standing on a rock, and just a step separates you from meeting the wildest fear in your life - the fear of heights. What is stronger in you - will or instinct? Once you jump into the abyss, you will never be the same. And only thin climbing ropes, a harness and a couple of carabiners determine what and how they will talk about this jump: with you or about you.

Rope jumping is an extreme sport that has become mass entertainment. Its essence is a rope jump from high ground objects: bridges, rocks, buildings and even trees. Now there are also air-to-air jumps - from a balloon, but such experience is the prerogative of professionals.

To prevent a jumping person from breaking in half from the jerk at the moment of stopping the fall, athletes organize a complex shock absorption system with the help of climbing equipment. As a result, the body seems to be springing on a stretching dynamic rope or swinging on a fading pendulum - when jumping without free fall.

This sport appeared by chance. According to legend, American climber Dan Osman experienced a fear of failures on routes, which hindered his professional development. Then he began to practice deliberate disruptions. And he liked this process so much that he developed it into an independent hobby.

Today, rope jumping is not just an activity for frostbitten extreme sports enthusiasts. It was turned into an attraction for dummies. And our Crimea has become one of the popular places for jumping. Teams from all over the former Soviet Union come here. They jump on Fiolent, Kachi-Kalion, on the Red Stone, Ilyas-Kaya, Shan-Kaya, in the Eagle's Zalet and on the White Rock above Belogorsk. Organizers are looking for more and more “exits” - places where jumps can be held. And those already tested are used for training and jumping by first-timers.

The most popular place for the first jump is the Kachi-Kalyon rock in the Bakhchisarai region. For a beginner, a jump from 80 meters will cost 1,500 rubles, from 150 meters - 3,000 rubles. These are the prices offered by the Crimean organizers. Teams from the mainland usually come with their clients, and their conditions may differ.

They say everyone should experience something like this in their life. This is how one of the newcomers describes his impressions: “Imagine a severe toothache, so severe that there is nothing in the world but this pain, you can’t think about anything else. And suddenly - the pain goes away or goes away, the world is immediately filled with colors and sounds, you begin to feel life. It’s the same here - you come off, first you fall, and then you feel like you’re letting go. “The feeling of letting go is a brief moment of freedom and euphoria.”

Some come to the exit only once - to check a box on their list of personal achievements. Someone, after the first jump, understands that conscious fear is hundreds of times stronger, and climbs the cliff again and again in order to once again overcome himself. And someone gets hooked on jumping and becomes an adrenaline junkie - they try more and more new objects, travel around the world with different teams, master acrobatic tricks and elements performed by experienced athletes during a jump.

And every time it becomes more and more scary: “I have enough experience in jumping,” the rope jumper shares on social networks. — This is not the first year I’ve been jumping. Therefore, jumping out was not particularly scary, but already in flight I changed my focus specifically. I’m flying and thinking: somehow the rope isn’t stretching, well, it’s time for it to tighten. I flew and jumped... And then the rope begins to lead me to the pendulum, and I understand that I will live. Bliss!"

Why is it scary even for those who eventually make their way from beginner to organizer? How dangerous are such entertainments?

The answer to these questions may be the fate of the creator of rope jumping, Dan Osman. In 1998, while making another record jump, Dan crashed when the only rope gave way. Osman was a real extreme sportsman who did not accept insurance; during his lifetime he said: “I am not suicidal. When you sit on the couch, staring at a box, you die. I feel most alive when I am face to face with my fears.”

It’s one thing when you jump at your own risk. It’s different when you have responsibility for the life of a newcomer in your hands.

“It’s much scarier than a parachute jump,” says one of the organizers. — There are many more components in this system that can fail at the most crucial moment - ropes, carabiners, descenders. Another risk factor is the proximity of the terrain - you are not jumping into space. And the coordinated work of the team, of course, plays a role. A lot depends on the experience of the organizers.”

One of the founders of Russian rope jumping, Sergey Sumberg aka Nefedov, collects statistics on jumping accidents. His list includes 35 accidents where only incredible luck saved the participants from serious injury or death, 67 non-fatal accidents and 11 fatal accidents.

But even he finds it difficult to answer what a beginner should pay attention to when planning to jump from a cliff with a rope under the supervision of a team of organizers. In his book on rope jumping, he plans to devote an entire chapter to this issue, but so far he admits that he has only two epigraphs:

“The man just wanted to jump like a client, but not like a ram. So he finds out about the team whose team is to jump...” (Ropejumping.ru Forum)

“...One of the worst examples among jumping projects. Wild contrast between advertising and reality" (From personal correspondence with the organizers of other teams)

And yet, having familiarized ourselves with Sergei’s statistics, we decided to sketch out a couple of tips for beginners.

First of all, the jumper must understand that rope jumping is a real extreme sport. And these jumps have nothing in common with the attraction. Even if you choose very experienced organizers and this will be your tenth or hundredth jump, you are not immune from the fact that something will go wrong. The carabiner may burst, the harness may break, you may somehow separate yourself incorrectly or perform a dangerous trick. In this case, every movement can be the last.

When choosing an organizer, try to get reviews from your friends, read information on the Internet, including on specialized forums. Ask as many questions as possible, including stupid and awkward ones. If the organizer knows nothing about accidents in rope jumping, is not inclined to discuss and analyze them, and talks exclusively in advertising slogans, this is already a reason to be wary.
It must be remembered that the organizers risk virtually nothing. Rope jumping in Russia is not regulated by law, and the organizers ask the client to write a receipt stating that he is aware of the consequences and assumes responsibility. “If something happens to a client, it will be very difficult to prove someone’s guilt, because in Russia we simply don’t have experts who can assess the correctness of the organizers’ actions,” says an experienced rope jumper.

Take your time and don’t rush to jump right away. For the first time, just attend the exit and see how the team works. What should you be wary of? Lack of coherence of actions and clear algorithms that are repeated from jump to jump. The more complex the object, the larger the team itself should be, and mutual control is the key to a successful event.

See how the participants communicate with each other and with clients. Unfortunately, a significant part of the accidents in rope jumping are associated with inattention and some slackness in work. Organizers can be very collected when working with strangers, and when they start jumping themselves or “abandoning” friends, they relax and forget to double-check the system.

You need to understand that alcohol in rope jumping is not allowed either for the organizers or for the clients. Loud music or a large number of strangers on the site may interfere - any attempts to turn extreme sports into entertainment reduce safety.

There is no point in writing about pre-jump testing of the system, reliability of equipment and the correct choice of exits. These are the issues for which the organizer is responsible. And it will not be easy for a beginner to understand them - it’s like advising a doctor how to treat you after reading about the symptoms on the Internet.

But if you're worried about something, don't be shy to ask questions. Listen to your inner feelings. If you don’t want to jump, perhaps today is simply not your day - accident statistics know situations where a premonition saved the jumper from a fatal step.

And lastly: if you decide to jump, don’t stop. Unless, of course, you are seduced by the popularity of Slavik the Irreplaceable - the most popular rope jumper on the RuNet.

Remember that doubts at the last moment can be fatal: there have been situations when jumpers during separation tried to grab onto the protruding parts of the exit - and this ended in injury and even death.

At the moment of the jump, strictly follow everything that was told to you during the briefing. And please, be more careful and less overconfident.
