The building is still listed on the balance sheet of the state specialized educational and sports institution “Regional Ice Hockey Olympic Reserve Center”.

The team has been training at the ice palace since the very beginning of its existence. In 2000, the arena opened with the first hockey match between the veteran teams of Mogilev and Shklov. The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko also played among the guests.

Today, the young generation of hockey players is trained here every day - they train athletes of children's sections and teams regional center Olympic reserve. To do this, every year children are recruited to study at the Olympic Reserve School for Children and Youth. Along with hockey, the ice palace is also preparing a worthy successor to the current champions in figure skating.
