Nature and sights

Most of the region is located on the Russian Plain, but in the northeast there are spurs of the Northern and Middle Urals. The highest point, the Tulym Stone, rises 1496 m above sea level. The large reserves Basegi and Vishersky are engaged in the study of nature in the north of the region. The main water artery is the Kama River. It is fed by more than 20,000 rivers and streams. Above the city of Tchaikovsky stretches the Votkinsk reservoir, with an area of ​​1,120 km2, it was formed by the Votkinsk hydroelectric power station.
