They all relax on the beach, sunbathe and swim in the warm sea. A new detailed map of Bulgaria with resorts in Russian will help you see where and what resort is located. You can see all the resorts. All beach resorts in Bulgaria are located on the Black Sea coast. if you look closely, they seem to form a semicircle. The most popular resorts among tourists are Sunny Beach and Golden Sands. This is where Russians strive to get. These resorts are quiet, beautiful and not expensive. And this is exactly what you need for relaxation.

Bulgarian resorts are some of the cleanest in the world. Firstly, the entire coast of the country is under the protection of the authorities. The state and special bodies monitor the coast, the cleanliness and ecology of the country's coastline. They even check private commercial beaches. And if garbage or other violation is found on them, the hotel is fined. To encourage resorts to keep clean, at the end of the beach year the cleanest beach and resort is chosen and awarded a blue flag. This means that the environment here is the best. In addition to the blue flag, a monetary reward is also awarded, which is also worth fighting for.

The waters of the Black Sea wash the Bulgarian coast with a length of 400 kilometers. All the resorts are located at this distance. Beaches and hotels of the country.
Bulgaria borders countries such as Türkiye and Greece, so it is hot here in the summer. But in winter it is cold and there is snow. There are ski resorts in the mountains, which also welcome tourists during the high winter season.

The most convenient and fastest way to get to Bulgaria is by plane. The flight from Moscow does not take long, literally 2-3 hours depending on the airline and weather conditions. Such a short flight encourages families with children to fly into the country. You won’t get tired during the flight and you get there very quickly. At the same time, you can enjoy beautiful views during the flight.

Tourists can also reach the country by train or boat. But only a few use these routes. Since during the trip you have to cross many borders, where you are checked at customs, disembarked, and in the end your journey takes almost a week.

There are many cities in Bulgaria. Most of them have a population of less than one hundred thousand people. The main city is the capital – Sofia. One million two hundred thousand people live here.
Varna is the largest port in the country. The city's population is about 375 thousand, but the port receives a huge amount of cargo every year.

The city of Plovdiv is one of the most ancient cities in Europe. It was founded by the Romans and this was many centuries ago. The city is beautiful; many buildings from ancient times, which were built by the Romans, have been preserved.

On the Bulgarian coast there are sandy, rocky and pebble beaches. 120 kilometers were occupied by sandy beaches. Tourists like it, so they rush here to relax. Agree, relaxing on the sand is much better than on rocks or clay. The entrance to the sea is gentle, there are almost no sharp cliffs anywhere. Children feel comfortable and safe here. There are no strong winds, since the coast forms a semicircle, and almost no wind blows here in the summer.

In the summer season the sea warms up to +26 degrees. The water here is a little cooler than on our shores of the Black Sea. and it’s not particularly hot here. The average air temperature during the day is +27 degrees. at the peak of the heat it can reach +32, but rarely higher. And, for example, in our Tuapse in the summer the average is +33, and at peak it’s +37. It’s pleasant to relax in Bulgaria, it’s not stuffy. And the prices are lower than ours. Even with a flight it turns out cheaper and more comfortable.

Resort Rusalka- the northernmost resort in Bulgaria, located 80 km from Varna, 50 km from Albena and 15 km from Cape Kaliakra, and was built on the initiative of the French company Club Med. The mermaid is located in one of the most beautiful places - the Tauk Liman nature reserve (from the Turkish word “bird bay”), where many species of rare birds nest, and dolphins are often found on the coast.

Until recently, Rusalka was a prestigious closed club type resort, where you could stay in one of more than 600 small villas (which operate on an all inclusive system). A relaxing seaside holiday in villas was valued here. But there are difficulties with the infrastructure: it’s inconvenient to get there by public transport, there are no good shops and supermarkets, and prices in local restaurants are high. In recent years, children's camps have also been organized at the Rusalka resort, so this resort is no longer suitable for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Rusalka is also rich in historical monuments - archaeological finds with a thousand-year history are stored here. The most famous attraction is the Yaylata complex (includes 40 caves). According to archaeologists, this is the site of ancient tribes.

The resort of Kavarna is a cozy port city, which is located on the Black Sea coast, 64 km from Varna. You can get to Kavarna from Varna, where many planes fly, both regular and charter. There is also a ferry from Odessa.

Resort Kavarna– these are beautiful sandy beaches and quiet bays with relatively few tourists. The city wonderfully combines the pastoral landscape of one- and two-story houses with beautiful courtyards and the style of new architecture, quiet narrow streets with wide boulevards, traces of the past with symbols of the modern world. The resort of Kavarna is one of the fastest growing seaside resorts in Bulgaria. In the last few years, the city has hosted many musical events, especially by famous Bulgarian and foreign rock musicians. Kavarna is one of the favorite summer holiday destinations for both Bulgarian and foreign tourists.

16 km northeast of Kavarna is the historical Cape Kaliakra.

Topola is ideal for lovers of long walks in nature.

The village itself is quite small, but nearby is a large gated resort complex “Topola Skies” with comfortable apartments, restaurants, tennis courts, swimming pools and playgrounds. In addition, the Topola resort has long been considered one of the main Bulgarian centers for golf tourism, because in its vicinity there are three 18-hole golf courses equipped to international standards.

On the territory of the resort there is a medical center "Medica-Topola", which successfully uses hypothermal water, rich in sodium and magnesium ions, in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory system, skin, musculoskeletal system and nervous system. In addition to wellness treatments, the clinic provides services for relaxation and improvement of appearance: resort guests have at their disposal a modern beauty complex, a massage room, steam rooms, saunas and a fitness center.

The amazing beauty of these places was appreciated by the Romanian Queen Maria. By her decree, her summer residence was built in Balchik in 1930. The miniature palace is located in a luxurious park leading down to the sea. Nowadays the park has been turned into a botanical garden (it contains more than 3,000 plant species), which displays the world's second largest collection of cacti. The park with the Botanical Garden is recognized as a national treasure of Bulgaria. The resort of Balchik was founded a long time ago - more than two and a half thousand years ago, but even today it attracts thousands of tourists from around the world. Balchik is widely known for its archaeological sites dating back to antiquity, as well as the highest quality of the local grape varieties grown there. This is one of the largest resort complexes on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, which got its name due to the beautiful strip of beach with fine golden sand, stretching for almost 4 km and 100 meters wide. The resort is located on the territory of the Golden Sands national park of the same name. The resort area is considered a protected area, as unique plant species grow here and many animals live. The resort was awarded the international Blue Flag award for the created environmental conditions on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

The resort has a network of balneological hotels built on the basis of hot mineral sulfur water. One of the most famous balneological centers of Golden Sands is the Ambassador Hotel, open all year round, with an outdoor swimming pool and a huge number of medical services.

Resorts in Bulgaria: Resort St. Constantine and Helena

Resort Saint Constantine and Helena- the oldest seaside resort in Bulgaria, located on the territory of a luxurious park just a few kilometers from Varna. The resort got its name thanks to the monastery of St. Constantine and Helena, which was located in ancient times on this territory, and in 1897 the Varna City Hall began construction here. The resort of St. Constantine and Helena is one of the very first in Bulgaria. Mostly rich townspeople of Varna vacationed here, who either had rooms at the monastery or dachas on the territory of the resort. In 1908, the first holiday home was built here, which was loved mainly by Czechs, Poles and Germans.

It is best suited for a calm, measured holiday. Here, 2-3* hotels prevail, built among a huge century-old park with rare trees and healing thermal mineral springs (water temperature +38..+46°C), creating a special microclimate and saturating the air with negative ions.

The resort has an extended beach strip with a pier, a disco, swimming pools with sea and mineral water and a water slide. Only at the resort of St. Constantine and Helena the sandy beaches are not the ordinary sand that we are accustomed to, but small pieces of crushed quartz, which, when illuminated by the sun, shines incredibly beautifully. However, quartz sand is not only of extraordinary beauty, but also of great health benefits. Perhaps this is why many people prefer to walk along the sea coast barefoot, and during the day not everyone uses a sun lounger, enjoying the warmth of quartz. A balneological treatment center operates on the basis of a local hydrogen sulfide spring.

The resort of St. Constantine and Helena is a natural park with cypress and fig trees in a wooded area, a relief seashore, small quiet bays, peace and tranquility, healing mineral springs, a magical combination of sea breeze at an altitude of 25 m above sea level with forest coolness and the aroma of centuries-old trees.

The area is known for its wide beaches with delicate golden sand, bordered by dense forests, clear sea water and clean air, as in this place the Stara Planina ridge descends to the sea.

The resort owes its name “Byala” to the white rocks that frame the city and represent a geological “exhibit” through which one can trace the periods of development of the earth’s crust over several thousand years.

The entry into the sea is quite flat, about 10 meters from the shore the depth does not reach more than 70 cm, and then gradually becomes deeper - up to 2-2.5 meters at a distance of 200 meters from the shore.
